@FishyS well yeah he wasn’t playable originally, but that kind of doesn’t define how canon a character is. Nabbit is very much part of the “story” of the game he debuts in.

Yeah, with Peachette there would be more of an argument, being an easy-mode power up form added in a re-release (though she’s technically just Toadette).

@SteamEngenius @Joeynator3000 the game is made for a very specific, and fairly popular, online show for kids.

It’s not a generic “Barbie” game, it’s a “Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures” game… so it looks that way… because that’s how the show looks.

@samuelvictor I believe it’s meant to be a reference to the fact that Barbie herself can be purchased in different body types, facial molds, and skin tones…. But still as “Barbie”. With the first and most important of these variants being the standard African American Barbie.

In-universe, it seems they became friends because of the coincidences.

Honestly, prior to The Sims 2 Pets (which was awful), handhelds would get the better The Sims spinoff games.

@LexKitteh outside of a few obvious 3D objects (like the pigs), it's kind of easy to tell the game was meant to be paper craft back then too, it just wasn't very possible to make it look convincing or good, so they relied more on cartoony textures to complement it. They've just cranked the natural paper look up to 20 in the remake, to fall in line with the recent games in the series.

@FirstEmperor if you take a look at the Pokédex, the entire Paldea dex is there waiting to be filled in. While Galar’s section is tiny and sad.

@SykoMuffin yes, they already came in colors that complimented New Horizons (turquoise and yellow), because the Lite released during the pre-release hype for the game, and the Pink one came out alongside the game itself.

So you could say these colors were already kind of Animal Crossing-adjacent, this just solidifies it further.

@HenryKibble depends on the game, for most games yes. For games like Pokemon and (ironically) Animal Crossing, no.

You can manually transfer save data between consoles, or use the switch online subscription to get automatic online backups that can be quickly downloaded to your consoles.

Oh my gawd. This one looks like their Lite controller (my favorite for traveling), but tiny! I love it!

Their Zero controller did really suffer from the lack of Z buttons, and the Home/Screenshot buttons. I think I'll be ordering this one to replace my Zero.

I really wish they added the ability to “block” certain developers so they stop appearing on your browsing.

Actually yes, about a year or two ago, the plastic wrap was broken into and the game was missing. Amazon sent me a new copy so now I have two boxes of Assassins Creed Black Flag…

Funny part is both are empty, because it was a Christmas gift for my brother, and he took the game and left the empty box in my house!

That would be a bit of a stretch. These games having various types of connectivity features doesn’t really mean anything for or against Pokemon.

I’m so glad they went and released both at the same time. I love these games, so I’ll definitely play them again for the 104th time

The DS remake was a little bit too hard for its own good.

My personal favorite version is the PSP one.

@Haruki_NLI sleeping too little, I think it’s under 5 hours a day, can bring severe health problems in the long run. It can also affect your mood and other aspects of your life.

The same goes for sleeping too much though.

The sweet spot seems to be 6-8 hours.

I actively refuse to buy, or even play for free, anything released by the AAA Clock publisher.

Even if it looks vaguely interesting or cute, or has interested me in the past. The moment I see it tied to the publisher, it’s immediately disregarded and ignored.

Perhaps they didn’t reinvent the wheel, but sometimes letting the wheel stay round is ok. The game is great, it has an amazing story and an stylized art style that looks great with the resolution bump.

Ah that’s about how much I paid for the game when it launched on the eShop.
