Guess she did get angry at the whole “they made a second movie and didn’t invite me” thing.

These were real puppets, so they did have robotic legs in a sense. After all, it’s easier to put on difficult unrealistic shoes when the shoes are literally part of your puppet body.

However I guess it’s clear by now that it was meant to be just artistic representation, and not a literal interpretation of the characters.

Yeah I’d rather keep using the one I bought for Pokemon Sleep, these are probably gonna be both: part of the paid premium monthly passes, and time-limited.

@UltimateOtaku91 considering they’ve been adding multiplayer battle modes to games that nobody would ever consider for any official usage like BDSP and Let’s Go, I wouldn’t expect them to fully strip online battling from the adventuring games themselves.

However the fact they wont be the main focus of competitive gameplay might be a blessing in disguise; if the lowered focus on programming and maintaining online seasons and tournaments and all that means they can afford to pay more attention to other aspects of the games.

@CaptainQuo I get the remake being disappointing for some, but what about Jill herself did you dislike.

Jill is my favorite.

Claire is my 2nd Favorite.

One constant annoyance in Winds of Anthos was the inability to climb any vertical surface. So that already sounds like a massive improvement!

Nice to hear the wild animals will have more of a purpose too.

@Warioware it gets funny when you think about it, but the main goal in almost every segment of the game is to find 3 items in a matching set to open one door to progress to the next segment.

The innovation comes at the end, where you need 2 instead of 3.

Bought a lot of stuff very close together with the Resident Evil Generations Pack and Pokemon Leaf Green coming out at the same time and Soma also going on sale.

I thought the pack price was really good, it was like choosing to get two entire games for the price of Requiem’s DLC.

They’ve been doing this for two generations now. The national dex has been dead for a while.

Now in terms of attempting a full on dex reboot that fully ignores previous mons, then that’s just a futile endeavor that would simply introduce the need to create even more Pokemon to fit the same niches as old ones. All that gives us, is even more redundant Pokemon.

@UltimateOtaku91 my only guess would be “rule of cool” considering Y has an edgy dark type on the cover, but I guess the story does make a tiny bit more sense with Yveltal at the core?

It’s easy to overlook it in-game, but the whole Team Flare plot gets pretty dark. So them pursuing the Pokemon embodiment of death as their power source makes a bit more thematic sense.

Pokemon Y is that one specifically the best rated one?

@Lizuka Oh right, the legendary beasts are starter-dependent, I wonder if they actually fixed them in this release? In the original release, they could just straight up delete themselves off your game with Roar.

It sounds like a pain but if they do release all the GBA games it could be an interesting side project... If it wasn't like $100+two consoles worth of investment. And then all those individual trades...

On the subject of the lack of Pokemon to complete the dex, I assume they'll release the Hoenn titles eventually as well. Are there any missing Pokemon between FRLG & RSE? (beyond Celebi & Jirachi?)

@zaneplay64 why, yes, it was like that back then too. Not saying I actively like the lack of online trading, but it's not like, a downgrade from the original release of these games; it's just how it worked back in the day.

They don’t appear if you search for “Pokemon” but they do if you search for “game freak”.

Which is odd but I’m glad they’re still up.

@BrewsterTea none of the pokemon game soundtracks are available anymore. I’m not sure what other Nintendo games have soundtrack for sale there.

@Krlozgod they were still up last time I checked, which was a few months ago. And yeah purchased ones should be good and cozy in your account.

It’s worth mentioning that along with this addition, the Pokemon game soundtracks are no longer available for purchase on iTunes.

Correction: they are still available, just difficult to find; you have to search for “game freak”, not “pokemon”.

@Krlozgod it's honestly a bit complicated with any games that had GC-GBA connectivity features (not even just the Pokémon ones, any of them); these functions depended on the GBA on the other side of the connection being active and giving real-time responses.

So it's not like a simple "just put them on their own app"... Like, the simplest solution would involve having two switches so one could play the role of the GBA and that's probably not something they're interested in doing.

And with Home having trading + the new battling game coming out in the future, now they probably see even less of a reason to add online directly in these old games.

Using a launcher model like it’s a generic GBA collection would probably complicate that integration.

@TheExile285 I was personally hoping they’d give Zelda her HW armor set like they did with Link in Age of Calamity, so yeah the lack of any gameplay-relevant rewards was disappointing.
