@GeddyLee if you’re interested in learning about amigurumi, I totally recommend picking up a kit from The Woobles.
They’re somewhat expensive but you only need one, and their online tutorials really made it click in my brain. I can now follow basically any pattern or freehand a plushie by myself.
@littlegreenbob to add to what @somebread said, as long as you don't tell them to actually keep the new hair, it'll go back to normal after a day or so even if you do nothing.
And to "rub" the hair away, you can do it as soon as you interact with them, no need to tell them anything.
Played the pocket edition and that felt good enough. Even though it's missing the DLC stories; I feel like that one stays on track better and the gameplay/story is easier to follow.
I find certain styles of hyper realism to be actually pretty difficult to look at. Like… the more complex and realistic a game looks, the harder it is for my eyes to find what to focus on.
Whenever they try to adapt the actual games, they always end up doing something corny or completely unsatisfactory, so I can see why this one is attempting something different. The first movie all the way back then did something original too, and it’s the one most people regard as the best.
Looks cool so far! I can see some inspiration is coming from the Ethan Winters saga.
These were real puppets, so they did have robotic legs in a sense. After all, it’s easier to put on difficult unrealistic shoes when the shoes are literally part of your puppet body.
However I guess it’s clear by now that it was meant to be just artistic representation, and not a literal interpretation of the characters.
Yeah I’d rather keep using the one I bought for Pokemon Sleep, these are probably gonna be both: part of the paid premium monthly passes, and time-limited.
@Agent_P I spent way too much on games late February, it’s just a case of too much being released at the same time for me to justify buying all of it day 1.
@UltimateOtaku91 considering they’ve been adding multiplayer battle modes to games that nobody would ever consider for any official usage like BDSP and Let’s Go, I wouldn’t expect them to fully strip online battling from the adventuring games themselves.
However the fact they wont be the main focus of competitive gameplay might be a blessing in disguise; if the lowered focus on programming and maintaining online seasons and tournaments and all that means they can afford to pay more attention to other aspects of the games.
@Warioware it gets funny when you think about it, but the main goal in almost every segment of the game is to find 3 items in a matching set to open one door to progress to the next segment.
The innovation comes at the end, where you need 2 instead of 3.
Bought a lot of stuff very close together with the Resident Evil Generations Pack and Pokemon Leaf Green coming out at the same time and Soma also going on sale.
So if I end up getting this, It'll at some point after my wallet recovers and my brain gets bored.
They’ve been doing this for two generations now. The national dex has been dead for a while.
Now in terms of attempting a full on dex reboot that fully ignores previous mons, then that’s just a futile endeavor that would simply introduce the need to create even more Pokemon to fit the same niches as old ones. All that gives us, is even more redundant Pokemon.
@UltimateOtaku91 my only guess would be “rule of cool” considering Y has an edgy dark type on the cover, but I guess the story does make a tiny bit more sense with Yveltal at the core?
It’s easy to overlook it in-game, but the whole Team Flare plot gets pretty dark. So them pursuing the Pokemon embodiment of death as their power source makes a bit more thematic sense.
@Lizuka Oh right, the legendary beasts are starter-dependent, I wonder if they actually fixed them in this release? In the original release, they could just straight up delete themselves off your game with Roar.
It sounds like a pain but if they do release all the GBA games it could be an interesting side project... If it wasn't like $100+two consoles worth of investment. And then all those individual trades...
On the subject of the lack of Pokemon to complete the dex, I assume they'll release the Hoenn titles eventually as well. Are there any missing Pokemon between FRLG & RSE? (beyond Celebi & Jirachi?)
@zaneplay64 why, yes, it was like that back then too. Not saying I actively like the lack of online trading, but it's not like, a downgrade from the original release of these games; it's just how it worked back in the day.

Re: Resident Evil Veronica Confirmed For Switch 2 Next Year
Can’t wait! Love the more subdued prologue lol, starting out with Claire being a matrix protagonist was a bit much.

First time I hear about this title… and it’s when it’s being delisted.

It's like four actual songs, but oh boy I love these four songs.
So I'm actually pretty happy about this.

FRLG’s price was actually lowered over here in Mexico some time ago.
Of course I had already bought it by then, but that was nice of them…
Re: So, Will You Be Getting Star Fox For Switch 2?
Never been much into star fox. But cool to see it getting its 8th remake.
Re: Poll: How Do You Pronounce These Pokémon?
Most of the time I just pronounce them as I would any other word, in Spanish.

The Swimmer♂ in the Japanese one looks like he's missing both legs.
Re: Rhythm Heaven Groove Drums Up Switch Release Date
@BTB20 bought the voucher way before we knew the price.
And even then it’s like, the money was spent ages ago so present day me wouldn’t really notice the loss of value, it’d be just like “yay free game”. 😶
Re: Rhythm Heaven Groove Drums Up Switch Release Date
@Grumblevolcano oh gosh darn it, I was saving a voucher specifically for this one.
Re: Rhythm Heaven Groove Drums Up Switch Release Date
I was starting to wonder if I imagined this title or it was a fever dream with how little Nintendo has talked about it.
Re: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie: Is There A Post-Credits Scene?

Re: Opinion: As Resident Evil Turns 30, It's Time Capcom Revisits The Classics
Ugh yes. I so want them to rerelease the PS1 originals.
They’re on GOG, but but it’s windows only and I’d rather play them anywhere else.
Even on the evercade would be nicer.
Re: Dragon Quest Builders Switch Patch Available Now, Switch 2 Compatibility Update Also Released
Might get back to this one just because I don't have Pokopia

Re: Poll: Who's Your Favourite Resident Evil Playable Character?
@CaptainQuo I get the remake being disappointing for some, but what about Jill herself did you dislike.
Re: Poll: Who's Your Favourite Resident Evil Playable Character?
Jill is my favorite.
Claire is my 2nd Favorite.
Carlos gets honorable mention, but the remake version only.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (GameCube)
Please stop staring at me, Claire
Re: The Next Harvest Moon Game, 'Echoes Of Teradea', Has Been Announced For Switch 1 & 2
One constant annoyance in Winds of Anthos was the inability to climb any vertical surface. So that already sounds like a massive improvement!
Nice to hear the wild animals will have more of a purpose too.

Re: Reminder: Resident Evil's Generation Pack Is Leaving The Switch 2 eShop This Month
Didn’t know it was meant to be a limited time offer.
I thought the pack price was really good, it was like choosing to get two entire games for the price of Requiem’s DLC.
