October is shaping up to be a busy month for the Nintendo Switch with the release of multiple titles including the Atlus game Persona 5 Royal. Atlus will also be hosting a concert for the series next month, featuring various performances.

It's got some fans wondering about the possibility of a new game announcement, but it seems not. Atlus has now issued a message mentioning how there are "no plans" for announcements at this upcoming event. Here's the statement from Atlus in full:

"There are no plans for announcements of new game titles at this concert. We are hard at work to prepare the best live performance to satisfy all those who will come and watch the show. Please look forward to it."

The most recent mainline entry in the Persona series is the fifth game, released back in 2016 and followed by the enhanced version Royal, released in 2019. Switch fans can look forward to the arrival of this version next month on 21st October. A special edition is also on offer, and pre-orders are now available.

Persona 3 and Persona 4 will also receive a Nintendo Switch next year. The "Persona Super Live P-Sound Wish 2022: Crossing Journey" concert performances will air on 8th October and 9th October.

There's also one project left to reveal as part of Persona's 25th-anniversary celebrations and it's scheduled for Autumn 2022.
