The “platinum punch”, well, every platinum game I’ve played has been insanely well reviewed, but all got a “meh” from me. I guess I’m not their target audience. So a game from them which doesn’t review amazingly well, leaves me even more.. meh.

@Bratwurst35 : Okay, it can also be marked that mario's high voice will return in the end credits. And the film will end with everyone dancing. A Jack Black or Seth Rogan will make a fart joke or reference to weed (in case of the latter, probably using peeling bananas for said reference).

And peach will save the day, mark my words. Anyone expecting anything different than the movie ending with Peach saving the day, and then a dance off, has not watched a single animated movie in the last decade (especially not one by this studio)

The LB/RB buttons are the ones which usually die for me... But other buttons/sticks have broken over years too.

And I play xbox FAR FAR less than my day one switch...

@hadrian : er, pretty sure rainbow islands was never ever ever on zx81.. no way it would’ve been able to do it.

The speccy version was great though, played it loads as a kid (until monster island, where the colour clash got too much, and everything became hard to figure out.. could never see Dracula coming)

I loved this game first time around.

Tried playing it with all stars. And i couldn’t get along with it at all.. controls felt.. clunky ..

Might be lack of cube controller though

I’m a grumpy pants, as all of their games appeal to me until I play them, then I find myself bored in no time at all.

I don’t know what it is about their games which makes me want to like them, but I never do.

I kinda enjoyed it, in a “it wasn’t awful” kinda way. Last few episodes fell a bit short, and each episode could’ve done with cutting down to 30 mins. But I didn’t hate it at all.

Not as much as I hated Ms Marvel anyhow.. that show was awful

DD actually did something different. All the other ones got boring and tired over years.

Best vanilla one was the ds one.. but even that got boring.

I do miss them doing silly things in them though, like becoming muppets, etc
