It’s never been a problem for me, other than racing games and certain GameCube games, I’ve never really seen it used in a meaningful way.

Xbox, Sony and every other major publisher is guaranteed to follow suit, just like they always have with this sort of thing.

In fact, in Australia, Nintendo is the one catching up with the market. The standard Monster Hunter Wilds, Doom: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones for PS and Xbox costs the same as Mario Kart World, at A$119.99 a pop.
Hell, the standard Death Stranding 2 and Silent Hill f cost more, an eye watering A$129.99.

The Switch 2 is as much of a SteamDeck killer as the SteamDeck was a Switch killer.

Kit and Krysta never had it together when they were with Nintendo, so why quote them now?

The cost for the base MH Wilds game is ridiculous. A$105 on Steam and A$115 on PS/XB. Yeah nah, imma wait for a sale.

The cheapest Steam Deck is A$649, as long as the Switch 2 is less than A$500, I’ll be happy. A$400-A$450 is the sweet spot imo.

I’m more interested/concerned about the character roster. I’d like to see characters from WarioWare/Land and DKC. I not overly interested in seeing more Super Mario series enemy/npc characters or guest characters like Link, Splatoon and Animal Crossing.
Also character costumes, like in MK Tour, would be good and not character slots taken by things like Metal/Tanooki Mario or Pink-Gold Peach.

Yeah, try reading the date the post you replied to was made.

They’ve had their ups and downs, but It’s amazing how quickly Ubisoft went from a decent games developer to an absolute joke. After Star Wars Outlaws and the upcoming AC Shadows (among other games), they deserve every bit of it, it’s all self inflicted, you reap what you sow.

Heck, who knows? Maybe Tencent will be the change for the better for Ubisoft.

It’s just a liability statement, if something happens, you can’t blame Nintendo for not warning you.
