Considering the announcements have already been leaked for the Scammies, I mean VGA, I’m gonna say there won’t be any significant Nintendo announcements.
I won’t be watching them either. “The Real Video Game Awards” are where it’s at.

So they’ve changed the thing Nintendo sued them over? Sounds like Nintendo won the lawsuit. Winning.

Still, I can’t believe PalWorld ended up being the game that was shunned at the VGA this year.

This site included. Being one of those “so-called journalists sites” that refused to review this game. Never reviewed Hogwarts Legacy either. Likely for the same reason.

Space Marine 2, Stella Blade, Silent Hill 2 remake, Helldrivers 2, all losing a GotY nomination to dlc, what a joke.

As unlikely is it is (because it’s rigged), can only hope that Black Myth Wukong takes home the win. And would like to see Life is Strange, Star Wars and Dragon Age win nothing.

That would suck so much if that purchase actually happens.

The Real Game Awards are where it’s at. By gamers, for gamers.

That’s somewhat stupid, should have been a “Best DLC/expansion” category. But it’s not as stupid as how the voting works (90% judges, 10% gamers), or the fact Keighley is trying patent the words “the game awards”.

The show is just a giant glorified commercial anyway.

4K res for a port of a PS2 game? That’s a big bowl of “wtfc?”. Now if it were about increasing frame rates, or updating the in game controls, i.e. crouch walking, or a physical release then there’d be something to talk about.

I still want something like this to happen. A multiplayer Metroid game, Feds v Pirates, similar to OG Bungie Halo games.

Just like Tokyo Mirage Sessions fe#, it’s disappointing about some the censorship, but as long as there’s no other unwanted changes, having all the current Xenoblade games on one console (assuming there’ll be backwards compatibility), it’s a no brainer to me.

I find it more and more difficult to believe/trust a “professional critic” these days. I didn’t care much for Gris and I’m not getting anything from this one.

Historically Zelda side-scrollers aren’t very good, though it has been quite a few years since the last one.

At the very least, like they did with Link’s Awakening, remake Zelda II and see how that’s received first.

Could they do the movie tie-in games for ep1-3, Shadows of the Empire and the Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo games already.

One of the more hilarious/sad things to come out of this announcement, is IGN dropping a piece that “attempts” to justify their terrible review on the original game.

There are other things Nintendo needs to deal with more than a potential stake increase from Saudi Arabia. Besides, at least it’s not Blackrock.

Smooth and higher frame rates are always preferred, but the drops here and there aren’t an issue.
