This is probably the "up to E3" announcements. The real big stuff is for E3, has to be.
I'll go with...
Mario Tennis Aces Kirby Some Indie Announcements Yoshi Hyrule Warriors Wolfenstein II Labo Travis Strikes Again Ridge Racer Whatever else Namco is working on (Tales?) Diablo 3
Couple games for 3DS, too, but real hard to predict.
I think Fire Emblem and other stuff I see in the comments are more for E3.
Personally I would love to see Blizzard come back to Nintendo consoles...D3 should work fine and there's no excuse for Hearthstone. I would love to see Overwatch...seems like if Rocket League works on Switch a lot of other games can, too.
To me, ports are good...I'm thinking about games getting a second chance, but also companies like Platinum getting a second chance. They put a few games on Wii U that never really reached their sales potential.
Idk, the whole thing is kinda weird. This is supposed to have happened years ago. The record keepers should have a tape, but they can't find it. They did call it a legit run years ago and recorded the score, though. One of Mitchell's witnesses is supposed to be a known cheater, which doesn't help him that much. But if he was using save states to cheat, Twin Galaxies should have caught that easily.
Personally I want to give Mitchell the benefit of a doubt. It was on Twin Galaxies to keep the record legit. I'm seeing it as no solid proof for Mitchell cheating, but Twin Galaxies is clearly failing to adequately safeguard the records they are recording.
@NEStalgia Very true about download vs physical...even the SNES had a few duds.
What matters to me is that more games are being released...I would prefer physical but I'm starting to realize the value of downloading multiple games on the portable system. At least the library is growing and Switch is getting third party support from the indies.
Just saw the update about designs not being free...that's Nintendo's choice, but someone will be selling knock-off toycon patterns on ebay before April's over.
I'm taking the customer support tweet with a grain of salt. But I am wondering if many, many retweets would force Nintendo and Netflix to show their hand...
Personally, I wouldn't mind any of these coming. I remember at the reveal a lot of people on the internet talked about how they would love to have a pc with this form factor. The Switch is a gaming console first and foremost, but there is a lot of potential here.
Personally, I would want YouTube and Netflix. Discord would be a good answer to the voice chat frustrations. Plex and Rainway weren't mentioned but they would be amazing.
NA user here...I bought the Switch for Zelda, with the promise of Mario later. That said, the other games that came out of the woodwork this past year is astounding. Here's hoping 2018 has more surprises.

@GrailUK @rjejr yeah, those games are likely, too.
Re: Code Of Princess EX Is Headed To Nintendo Switch This Summer
@Arnold-Kage Ain't that the truth! This game would have made the Direct good for me if it was in it. Probably not, but it would have.

Re: Aero Fighters 3 Flying High Next Week On Switch
The only Aerofighters I knew growing up was the N64 game. I did not realize how zany the series really was.

Re: Miyamoto Explains Why Illumination Was Chosen For The Upcoming Mario Movie
At least Miyamoto is providing creative input. This has to be better than the last one.

Re: Rise & Shine In Development For Switch, But It's Still "Hanging By A Thread"
You'd think Unity would have been on top of the porting issues by now after Yooka-Laylee.
Re: Zerodiv Is Bringing Samurai Aces, Sol Divide And Taisen Hot Gimmick To Switch
No love for Mahjong? 😛
Re: ARMS Version 5.1 Adds Gallery Feature, New Badges And Tournament Mode
The game really did need a tournament mode. ARMS ended up being one of best surprises of 2017 for me.
Re: Death Road To Canada Brings Roguelike Zombie Survival to Nintendo Switch
Never heard of it, but it looks hilarious! I may have to try it.
Re: Mercenaries Saga Chronicles Invades The Switch eShop On February 8th
Deal just got sweeter...
Re: RiME's Developer Has Been "Working Tirelessly" On A New Patch To Fix The Buggy Switch Port
What frustrates me is that some good ol' fashioned QA would prevent a lot of this...too many of these patches, I think.
Re: Rumour: Get That Pinch Of Salt Ready, Apparently Microsoft Is Preparing To Buy Electronic Arts
This is so hilarious it's probably true...
Re: The Dream Of Crowdfunded Switch Dock SFANS Has Turned Into A Nightmare

Great to me, keeps the online community alive.
Re: Former Metroid Prime Developer Reflects On Cut Content From The Trilogy
I wish those ideas made it...they sound pretty awesome, actually.
The more I think about it, Samus does come off as more of a mercenary at times. I wonder if that's the where the confusion was.
Re: Review: Ambition Of The Slimes (Switch eShop)
@SolarJetman Doesn't sound like it. Seems to be the same game. Bigger screens in portable and docked mode, I guess.
Re: Nintendo Confirms It Won't Be Freely Supplying Extra Cardboard Replacements For Labo
Just saw the update about designs not being free...that's Nintendo's choice, but someone will be selling knock-off toycon patterns on ebay before April's over.
Re: Reggie On The Future Of Nintendo Labo Regarding Third Parties
Other Labo designs will surely come. It's one of those things that create smiles and inspire others to further the concept.
Re: Nintendo Will Freely Provide Cardboard Design Patterns For Labo
Nintendo is being really smart about this, it seems...tbh I figured someone would copy the patterns as they came out.
Re: Nintendo Is Announcing "A New Way To Play" Later Today
I have no idea. I thought most everything Nintendo did was for kids and kids at heart...

I'm taking the customer support tweet with a grain of salt. But I am wondering if many, many retweets would force Nintendo and Netflix to show their hand...
Re: Yoshi For Nintendo Switch Could Be Heading To Switch In Time For The Summer
Could be June. The Direct made me think Yoshi was beyond the horizon of what they were announcing, with June being the horizon.

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th January (North America)
May finally get Super Meat Boy after all these years...
Re: GameStop Tweets About Nintendo Direct, Then Quickly Deletes The Tweet
Someone at NOA is rolling on the floor laughing, probably most of them. The Twitter thread with Chibi Robo is going crazy.

As much as I try to resist hype, I'm getting hyped. Really hoping for big surprises...and Smash, too!

King of the Monsters is clearly the highlight this week.
