@Quantaur I'm pretty sure it is just laziness on Atlus site. Nintendo is relatively relaxed regarding censorship this days. And it would have been some work making a 'complete' edition containing the original and the modified content. While some people like me will skip it due to the censorship, most people who wanted to buy it, would have done so regardless. And since it did not sell well in the first place, it make sense for Atlus to make a low effort port.

Well, I consider that money saved. Too bad, but there are enough other upconing jrpg in the next months. I'm wondering how it will sell in Japan.

I loved Witcher 1,but did not like Witcher 2. And too many other games at the moment. I think I will wait some time, before playing this.

It is a good games and deserves good sales, but it hurts me a little bit, that it sold more than new games like astral chain or feature rich ports like dragon quest 11.

I hope that it will result in a new 2d zelda game down the line, or the the same treatment for the oracle games.

I'm glad to see good numbers for dq snd Ryza. I just hope that gust does not get any dumb idea due to ryzas success. I prefer the character design of the previous games.

I have not played any main line dq game. Only the builders spin offs. Is this game connected and should i read the plot from some of the previous games on Wikipedia. Or are the games only loosely connected like tales and final fantasy and it is no problem to start fron scratch with this one?

@StephanDLW I'm not so sure. Especially people who already played it on ps4 might enjoy the new game mode as a fun alternative until they get to the new post game stuff.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for a decent patch for bloodstained. grumble

But good to hear that ori is a good port. I hope they change their mind and port the sequel later.

@Prof_Yoshtonics I have no interest in the lite. But if i had i would also have waitef until the drift issue is solved. Buying new joycons us one thing, but on the lite they can not be changed.

@TJWorks with the expensive switch you would still get detachable joycons, an included dock and a bigger screen. At least for me, good enough reasons to buy the big model.

Bulletstorm might be a good game, but after all the bs gearbox and especially its ceo has pulled, I would not support it anyway. That being said, i think the games would be a good fit for the switch and its audience.

I have not bought the DLC yet, since the content until now was meh. This might chsnge with wave 3 and 4 ( combined)

Im at the end og my first three houses run. At least I think that I'm close to the end. If i finish it this weekend i will start astral chain or finish dqb2

@tobibra and the censors they did for Fire emblem 3 houses were way more tolerable than for fates. It will be interesting to see how Tokyo mirage remaster turns up.

To be fair Nintendo got criticized heavily for the changes they did in fates and in that case they changed it to match the original script. Still a strange change.

The voice actor change sucks, but i can understand Nintendo, with the allegations against him and the broken NDA they would have a problem if they need byleths voice again for DLC, heroes, smash or whatever.

I find metacritic very useful. However, you have to use your brain. Sometimes the professional reviews are crap, sometimes the user review. But reading some positive and some negative reviews usually give you a good understanding of the strong and the weaker aspects of the game. The score alone is worthless.

If they uncensor it, I will buy it immediately. Otherwise not. Unfortunately, they did show at least one censored scene, therefore I assume that it is the castrated version

Since I am going to buy the game anyway I see no point in trying the demo. But still credits to square for providing a meaty demo for people who are unsure.

@nkarafo I really like the classes, but it was a good call to allow the player to skip them. For people which do not like that and for repeated playthroughs.

Instant buy. Hilarious that we have more Microsoft games than EA games on the switch.

Dang it. I do not have time for it and I already own the base game on ps4, but on the other hand I like to support good ports.

@Paraka Fates did tarnish the reputation, but I think Echoes of Valentia helped to remedy that.

Does it wake up the switch. The current sx30 do not do that, unfortunately.

@sanderev Usually you can use any language. You usually recognize the card by artwork alone. Uf there are discrepancies between different versions of the same card, there is one official version which is binding. At least that is how it is handled for Magic in tournaments.

What an idiot. These are the people who are responsible for giving bad names to real fans (be it Nintendo, sony or whatever). Of course, there are some border line similarities, but even the trailer has enough differences to warrant a single game.

Too bad it is not planned for the switch, i would he interested in it. But currently I'm avoiding my ps4 unless it's a must have title for me.

3 houses and dqb2. Both are fantastic so far.

Blsck Eagles were my least favourite. While I do not dislike them, i find the golden deer and the black lions way more interesting.

@Krull I hope so. They can wait a year, since there are too many games at the moment But I would definitely support more Falcom ports.

@mauhlin12 All of this are unfortunately unlikely, Falcom recently said that they would like to bring more titles to the Switch, but they are lacking the fubds/manpower for that. A shame, YS VIII is fantastic. In my opinion the best rpg on the switch at the moment.

@marck13 same goes for the Star wars license, as long as they have exclusivity, people will buy these crap infested games, simply because there are no real alternatives.

@nukatha I completely agree with you. SoV was great, but I think that many skipped SoV due too coming late to tge 3ds and being a remake.

@BlueOcean Yeah it is pretty small. I would wish games had a larger font settings, for people like me with bad eye sight, that would be really helpful

@Tantani Fire Emblem Switch was relatively early announced, I assume most FE fans already have a switch or are still waiting since they lost faith with Fates

I'm not really interested in that game due too many other good games and some marvel fatigue, but good to hear that the positive impressions are also shown as sales.

Atelier lulua and DQB 2 for me. And I'm waiting for a Bloodstained patch.

@sikthvash I would assume they have toy for the vr kit. Everything else works (but you have to buy a second set of joycon)

I would have bet that it could still be attached to a dock. Otherwise, it is as to be expected.

@SNES64DD I would not call it niche. Secret if Mana was a pretty big deal during the snes area and Seiken Densetsu 3 was patched by fans into multiple languages. And for people who are old enough to remember this, the higher price point is less of an issue.

Well if by some miracle Microsoft gets 3rd party support from Japan, the xbox will replace the playstation as my secondary console, thanks to their current actions like the censorship crap. I never imagined that could happen. Funny enough that this happens as Nintendo stopped doing that.

While Kingdom battle has Mario on its side, it is still worth it.

However, without actual numbers, this list is not really useful.
