I did not like it at all. One of the few wii u games I regret buying. Still, if they get rid of the flaws, it might still be worth porting. Especially if they are thinking about a sequel.

Hopefully more countries follow Belgium example.

@CoastersPaul well, updated 2d graphics could be great as shown by Octopath Traveler. But yeah late Super Nintendo 2d games are quite nice to look at.

To be honest, I found that to be one of the least interesting parts of the direct. However, reading the additional information in this article has definitely sparked some interest. Too bad that there was no tree house presentation (or did I miss it? )

@Ooyah I hope that they bring the Re;Birth games(and megadimension vii) to the switch, if this one sells.

Oh I did not know that IF and Compa are present. I thought only the 4 major CPU were in the game.

Weird, especially since the European version is usually bigger. Most likely an error. However, we are talking about Activision here, its at least possibly that they just decided to screw the American customers, i can easily imagine that Americans buy more digital, compared to Europe.

@Xelha Still ruined, is a bit harsh, especially since Lulua is the best in a while. The season passes are bs, but they are mostly bad anyway and can (and should) be ignored.

While I have ordered it to support IF on the switch, I'm still very doubtful about the game. It a shame that this review does not mention if the problems of the Japanese version have been tackled.

Atelier Lulua. Hopefully finishing it before Fire Emblem arrives.

I would also play collection of mana, but I'm waiting for the physical release.

It is indeed unfortunate that no physical release is planned. I'm still glad that the grandia collection is coming. At least we got a physical release for the mana collection.

And the worst thing is this graphic is incomplete. E. G. Rune Factory 4 and 5, Atelier Ryza. And I'm sure Nintendo has some surprises left for a winter direct.

@Nego I'm in the same boat. But if they manage to get Japan on board due too sonys current censorship craze, I will gladly switch from ps to Xbox next generation.

Basically a pro controller sawed in half. I would be interested if it were feature complete (battery, Bluetooth, etc).

@Heavyarms55 Depends how they are implemented, I hate it if the game annoys you with it, if you have failed a certain amount of time.

I do not think that today's Rare would be capable of doing it justice. But I think if done by the correct people it would sell. Yooka laylee did fine if I remember correctly.

Too much words wasted on EA in this article. The only thing they are good at are destroying reputable studios and exploiting people.

I feel bad for people who like sport games and therefore can mostly only takes EA's offering.

@apoqalypse It does not mater if you have any relation. It is the same as trading stolen goods,you do not need to have any relation with the original owner to be sued. And information is also a good,despite not being physical.

I'm looking forward to Astral Chain . But wonderful 101 can stay where it is. This is one of the few wii u games I regret buying.

I really liked the game. I did not finish XBC1 and X, but this one was great from start to finish, despite its flaws.

I would have double dipped for a switch version, but for a ps4 version again, probably not. Especially with Sony's current censorship craze.

I rather see a resemblance with Repede (Tales of Vesperia)

While I am a big jrpg fan. I never played one if the dragon quest franchise (except builders 1, which is not a rpg). I am looking forward to this

@NintendoFan4Lyf To be honest I also mostly played the story. I just think that there is a lot of stuff to enjoy for people who like sandboxes, even if there are no post launch updates.

@NintendoFan4Lyf while I agree with the lack of post launch support, I think that you still had plenty of content in DQB thanks to Terra Incognito.

It still amazes me how well Minecraft is selling after all that time.

@IHateTombs I would like to see a port of the Re, Birth games (and VII) on the switch. Now that the vita is mostly dead. And of course a new main line entry.

@leo13 cool. Thanks for the info. I will most likely use it then also. While I usually prefer physically, time wasters like this and mario maker are an exception. And for that the voucher are a decent deal (imo)

Is this game part if the Nintendo Voucher program? The first one is if I remember correctly.

I share the sentiment regarding mobile games here, but. How the hell did they f*** up a mobile game so bad?

@impurekind i can not agree. At least in general. E.g. i find the screen transition time in the original Legend if Zelda way less tolerable than the load time in breath if the wild, since it only happens occasionally.

I'm looking forward to it. But to be honest i would have preferred if they waited longer for the next main line title . While I liked lydie & suelle, nelke, both titles seemed rushed to a certain degree and I'm fearing that the same will be true for lulua.

@KingdomHeartsFan i hope so. At least I would buy a full fledged game using the blaster, for example.

@JLPick Indies will still be on the switch. Mist of them are not that demanding and they sell well on switch. 3rd party will dry up, but only after the Plattform transition time, since most games currently in development are still either for this generation or cross generation. So I think the software supply is safe until 2021 and at that point in time, the next console for Nintendo should nit be that far away. Especially uf they are doing a switch 2.

I prefer physical with the following exceptions:

• online games
• games i tend to play often but in small bursts

@westman98 Well I do not like the new art style. In fact I hate it, but I would still upvote the trailer since I'm glad that they are remaking it. Therefore, I don't think that that ratio is a good indicator for it.

Still, I saw more positive than negative reactions to it.

@companyoflosers I think they try to hard to evolve. The sonic games after generations did try new stuff but failed horribly. Instead they should have perfected the colors/generations formula first. Sonic Mania was successful because they tried to recreate the working formula of the new games.

So we european customers get again no physical version. I should thank them for reminding me why I boycott them, before buying the RE2 remake.

Instant buy if it happens. This is one of the few Xbox games that interest me.

But I don't like the meaning of it (and the game pass rumor) , if Microsoft loses interest in its own console, it basically means one less competitor which will turn out bad fir the consumer.

It was amazing for me, with the exception of the art style of Links Awakening

@Arcamenel Atelier is a slower paced rpg, with a heavy focus on crafting. E. G. If you encounter a boss which is too hard, tge solution is not to level, but to craft better equipment (armir/bombs etc).

The story is usually not big. In most games you goal is "just" to fulfill the dream of your main character,like becoming a adventurer, explore the world, find your missing sister. Sometimes yiu also have to save the world, but usually it is not.
The main appeal for these games are the crafting and the characters. Usually the characters are very likable and you want to help them. The slower pace of the game is also a nice contrast to a typical RPG.
Personally, I really like these games (and I usually hate crafting), the later games have been weaker, but I still found them very enjoyable and they got rid of the time limit (the original arland games all had a time limit to fulfill your goal)

I loved the arland triology. But the price really is bs. Especially since there was an appropriately priced collection for the PS3.
