These are stone-cold classics. My go-to business trip games for years and I must have played over a hundred hours between the two of them. I don’t need them on Switch too but I’d recommend them to anyone.

Love these but it will be 50% off in a month with the rest of them so I’m afraid I can wait.

I’ve just been playing Mario Sunshine on GameCube. Now I’ve finished it and have started The Chaos Engine on SNES.

Out Run, Fantasy Zone 2 and either of the first two Silent Hill games.

Demo would be great. I still play the demo from the first game!

Great demo. Didn’t notice any issues. Like most people won’t.

My first gaming love, and nearly 40 years on Snoopy Tennis still works and plays perfectly. Can’t wait for the new one to arrive - preordered ages ago on the UK store and counting down the days ever since.

The Control demo is very impressive. However, I’m not sure if it’s the game or the cloud tech, but I got serious, almost instant motion sickness.

I forgot I bought this. Wonder where I put the envelope?

It’s alright but there’s better hockey games for free on your phone. You ignore the blood after a couple of goes and the fighting is a chore.

I’d forgotten the Switch had a touchscreen, but I’ll stick with playing on the TV with buttons.

I hate drifting in racing games. Therefore I won’t be getting this.

Finished Super Mario Bros in Super Mario All Stars and Silent Hill 2 on PS2 so far.

I’ve been playing the demo of the first game for years now. Never felt the need to buy it, so I’m really hoping they do a demo for this too!

Definitely no need for the drum controller to enjoy these games. The smile they put on your face is the same regardless!

Why is the Switch version £1.50 more than others?

Really hope the Switch version isn’t crap.

I regularly play the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo. Have been for three years. Never felt the need to buy the game though!

Don’t care about co-op but I’ll take the rest day one!

Lots of Animal Crossing and some Gradius Advance so far. Duke Nukem 3D and Star Wars Racer to come.

I’ve now got more bells and nook miles than I can ever spend, so charge away.

The first time I even thought about checking the star rating I had four stars. Said I needed more fences so I installed a few and got five stars, which is the last time I thought about it. Have always done what I felt like, which is just dotting stuff that takes my fancy around the original island layout. No interest in relocation, terraforming or anything other than convenience infrastructure. Similar approach to my house, which I’ve got a gold trophy for. Play enough and everything comes your way.

I’m catching several hammerheads and at least one great white most days, with and without bait. Whale sharks less frequent but regular. And only one saw shark. Today!

Finishing bits and pieces in Streets of Rage 4, enjoying my 5-star island status on Animal Crossing, then Streets of Rage 2 and Road Rash 2 on Megadrive Mini.

I got a mahi mahi on the first day after using only three bait. Not a sniff of the giant trevally yet and I’ve now gone through hundreds of bait through the week.

Loved this on Xbox. Think it will be great on Switch and I’m in again if it runs okay.

Filling up my museum with new species and fossils has always been a priority, but I’ve not been beyond the entrance since the day it opened! I’d definitely appreciate some peaches on sale too!

Despite looking great, I think my turnip storage farmyard might ruin my chances, especially as my turnips seem to be sitting there the whole week!

Think I picked this up in a sale for about £1.50 last year but only played it a few weeks ago. Was at the point of dropping it a couple of hours in - felt like a shallow Zelda rip-off - but by the end it had found its own identity and taken me on its own journey, and I was really glad I stuck with it.

Just let me catch fish not something else when I’m fishing and I don’t care what it’s all about.

Had a go at this. Was in a queue for 20 minutes to treble my 150K investment, got there, did the deal, filled my pockets with bags of cash, then found it was all turnips again when I got back to my island. Will just wait until tomorrow morning - my prices have fallen all week then jumped just now so should jump again if I’ve worked it out right.

@NineDarkTales Reluctantly just gave up on the stringfish. Must have used 200+ bait on my and other islands. Did get an oarfish from the sea today though!

I’ll be amazed if this takes less than ten attempts. I’ve been trying to get a stringfish, which seems to be virtually identical to catch, for a couple of days. Must have made a hundred baits and no luck so far.

Mine arrived from Amazon UK this afternoon. I never buy a Nintendo big name digital - I’ll play this for 100 hours, decide I’m done and sell it for about a fiver less than I paid new. The card is only an inconvenience if it’s going in and out all the time.

Doom 3 on Switch. 4 hours in and £2.40 very well spent so far. Ori on Xbox Game Pass, £1 even better spent!
