What a crazy week we've had this week with a huge Switch eShop sale, ridiculous levels of Animal Crossing creativity, and even reports suggesting that 2020 is set to bring lots of exciting Super Mario remasters to Switch. Sheesh.
Finally, though, we can now sit back and take a breather. Members of Team Nintendo Life have shared their gaming plans for the weekend below, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

Following an unprecedented splurge on the European Switch eShop sale late last night (brought on, no doubt, by a potent mix of tiredness + relaxing beverage) I have not one, not two, but seven new game icons sitting on my Switch menu screen, including Octopath Traveler, The Messenger, The Touryst and Alien: Isolation. These are games I’ve had my eye on for months and the price was right. It would be lovely if I could find time to delve into them over the weekend.
Not gonna happen, though. You see I’ve got fish to catch, bridges to build and Buck’s birthday present to deliver. No, I fear that my recent purchases will instead settle like sediment over Witcher 3, Edith Finch and the rest, compacting into the continental shelf of my backlog and taking up great chunks of my micro SD. Must dash – just spied a dragonfly!

Once again, I'll be squeezing every last drop out of Animal Crossing: New Horizons that I possibly can, slowly but surely working towards crafting all of the Bunny Day recipes and maybe - just maybe - actually getting around to sprucing up my house a little bit.
I've got into a pretty strict routine at the moment where I gather materials from each part of my island, sell things off, use a Nook Miles ticket and repeat, all in the same order each day. The problem is that by the time I'm done, I realise I haven't got any time to really do anything else, so I'd quite like to explore different things like custom designs while I have more time over the weekend.

Although I’m tempted to just hunker down and exclusively play Animal Crossing for yet another weekend, I am beginning to find a rhythm with other games that’s well-suited to quarantine life. A lack of social contact has led many of my friends and family to set up gaming events for us all to remotely interact. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is currently the online multiplayer favorite, with Overcooked! 2 coming in at a close second.
Both games are fairly easy for less experienced friends and family members to jump in on, and have been providing that socialization we’re all craving. Of course, Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers a similar social outlet, and will obviously be my main game of the weekend… but at least I’m adding some variety!

A double-deck mixing table fell down from a tree a few days ago in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (how did the game know!?) so you know what that means: I will be live streaming my musical adventures straight out of Shiryuland… once I can build a stage with props other than lava lamps.
Will probably complete the Gundam Wing campaign in SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays, wrap up Good Job! and give the new soundtrack a blast in Panzer Dragoon: Remake. My game of the week is the insanity of Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Never got a chance to play the original so all these Switch re-releases are great excuses to plunge into unexplored gems like this.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Mostly jumping between Animal Crossing (earning a few more Bells to trade for turnips tomorrow) and One Step From Eden (I can finally win runs… occasionally). I’ve been planning to start my second route in Maitetsu: Pure Station but haven’t found the time yet.
This week I will be mostly playing
Pokémon Platinum
Pokémon SoulSilver
Final Fantasy 7
Yesterday I finished Doom 64 100% and then I grabbed some bargains: Trine Ultimate Collection, Assassins Creed Rebel Collection and Hypercharge Unboxed. A lot to play in a lot of free time.
Animal Crossing
Coffee Talk
Annnd that's my current set schedule for the weekend. I hope everyone enjoys theirs and stay safe!
Animal Crossing, and La Mulana. I loved La Mulana on the Vita, but became impossibly stuck. Am hoping to get through it this time! Such an intriguing and engrossing game. Am hoping that everyone is okay out there. Take care, and stay safe.
Animal Crossing, loving designing clothes for it!
Also I picked up the Mega Drive collection on Switch, mainly to play Toejam & Earl 2 so will give that a bash if I can tear myself away from Animal Crossing!
I’m gonna start Breath of the Wild again but this time I’m going for the 100% completion
I managed to beat Doom 64 the other day so I'm moving on from that. Loved every minute of it, what a game!
I bought Rogue Legacy last night and find it really addictive. I'm terrible at it though. I'll be playing a lot of that, trying to get the hang of it.
I really need to get back to The Witcher ,havent played it for 2 weeks.
I might finally start Hyper Light Drifter. I bought it on launch day and haven't even seen the title screen.
I held off on Animal Crossing as I’ve never played one before and was worried I’d find it boring.
Today is my fourth day and I’ve built the museum, the shop, upgraded my house to the bigger version, built a bridge, created 3 news houses for new residents, furnished those houses, and spent last night dreaming of cartoon racoons.
Guess it’s not boring
Just finished Pokémon Ultra Sun and started Crystal. Still playing Sword. Got a shiny Cramorant on my second egg during the week!! I called him Steve.
Unlocked Deadpool in Fortnite and I’m logging in daily to Animal Crossing.
@SterlingEyes
Don’t add another room to your house for the moment and deck it out in Egg Day stuff, drop an egg on the floor too. This’ll get you a high rating with the Happy Home Academy.
Animal Crossing. All day, every day.
Also squeezing in a second playthrough of DOOM 64 on the highest difficulty when I need a change of pace.
Still going on Ni No Kuni but might have a break for either Hellblade or Gris (both of which I bought in the current sale).
Some AC but mainly P5R!!!
Finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions before the weekend, which feels great! Now I’ll focus on Final Fantasy VIII and World of Final Fantasy Maxima.
Oh...and some Animal Crossing, of course!
Stephen Fry has me thinking about Animal Crossing 🤔
Still working on my trinity of Animal Crossing, Doom Eternal and Trails in the Sky SC. Almost done with the latter.
1. I'm playing Animal Crossing, I've already collected and built every DIY recipe I can for Bunny Day (without the exclusive ones you get the last day, since I won't time travel)
2. Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4)
3. Some other / PC games.
I finished Danganronpa 2 last night. At first I wasn’t as gripped as the first game as it felt like more of the same so it wasn’t as shocking and slower paced. I preferred the setting and thrill of the new in the first game. But I loved the last 2 chapters more than any from the first game.
I’ve had a break from jrpgs to avoid burnout over the last few months, now I’m ready, a bit of comfort food needed.
Torn between a few from my backlog: starting SMT Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker, finishing Ni No Kuni, or maybe a classic like Dragon Quest 8 or Final Fantasy 6. Decisions decisions!
ARMS Party Crash event for this weekend ! 😃
I have accumulated points until Lv 34. 😁
Also, i played Pokemon Sword for a while due to my student asked me for Single Battle play.
I have checked my 1st town of Animal Crossing New Leaf 3DS to make sure nobody want to Move Out.
Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Saturn and some Animal Crossing on the Switch, might pick up Outrun too
I wonder for how long Animal crossing will be in the lead.
Will buy Good job soon!
On the Switch:
Animal Crossing
On the PS4:
Final Fantasy VII Remake!!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and In Other Waters
More Animal Crossing, more Smash Brothers, and finish off the first Ace Attorney game on 3DS.
Civ 6 for me. My second playthrough and I've gone for standard map size. Wow, that's a whole lot of other countries and city states to deal with!
Might take a look at the eshop sale but trying to resist. In non-nintendo news i picked up Mystic Vale for ios after reading the switch review in this site. Not many games I buy for ipad but this seemed a good fit. Great value if you like deckbuilders and a lot of fun.
About to go out to the supermarket in real life so that should be fun...
@Anti-Matter I forgot ARMS was free to play for a couple more days, thanks for reminding me.
ARMS demo, Smash event and some Xenoblade Chronicles X which is very hard at times but rewarding.
Ive already put a couple of hours into Animal Crossing today so there’s that. Last weekend I decided to restart Pokemon Sword after losing interest in it. I enjoyed it before but Ive really got into it this time.
Picked up the messenger in the sale really enjoying it some of the writing is very witty been using my wireless snes pad to play it to give it a bit more authenticity also got ninja saviours physical love the fact it actually comes with a manual
Resident Evil Remake 3
Already finished it once. I'm going for another go around its ...really short.
Also Colin Mcrae Rally 04
Saints Row 3
And Jedi Academy.
Already hit chapter 7 in Xenoblade 2 - ironic to be doing estimatedly faster plot progress compared to XC3D (although this save file is over 100 hours now as well), but as someone trying to avoid fast travel in open-worlders, I've found myself shelving a lot of side quests and affinity charts in hopes for some in-universe mobility to come later. I've read about a future point where one of the territories gets cut off for the rest of the game (although there's not THAT much to do there), so approaching it may change my fast travel stance if the party doesn't grow themselves some kind of freely usable ship until then. 😆
Other than that, it's going to be more FE and more Ace Attorney - plus possible buffet samplings of other stuff across my installed Switch and 3DS libs; might revisit Professor Layton as well. But Xenoblade and FE still make up a significant part of my gaming time as of late.
@Incarna
"emotional range of a teaspoon"
I'm gonna try to remember that one.
Oh yeah that's right, there are other video games besides Animal Crossing. Kinda forgot for a minute!
@nhSnork
When I first played Oblivion i also avoided fast travel, cause actually putting in the leg work seemed more "legit" to me.
I got pretty fed up by it very fast, don't know how you do it.
@Heavyarms55
Like Jedi Academy ?
Or Mysteries Of The Sith ?
same stuff i've been playing for months:
Crossout
Rocket League
Hunt Showdown
all on PC
Currently putting what I assume are finishing touches to La-Mulana, somewhat shamefully I had to resort to a guide with this one, the puzzles in this game got insanely cryptic towards the end with a few areas in particular feeling like I never would've been able to figure it out on my own. Still an amazing game that I think I won't be forgetting anytime soon, if only by the virtue of its soundtrack that has taken over my playlist. Following that I have a massive backlog of games, with next in line being the Fist of the North Star game on PS4 which I got interested in trying on a whim.
Daily animal crossing sessions are a thing definitely also, still, even if the bunny day event is doing nothing but hindering the experience atm, I'll deal with it though.
Resident Evil 3 Re (PC)
Mega Man Zero/ZX Collection (Switch)
Persona 5 royal.... 7hrs in.... This game will be perfect for switch if atlus are willing to give it a chance..
Resident evil 3 remake and its multiplayer
Playing through Doom II & Dragon Quest XI as well!
@Incarna
Ever played FF 8 ?
Squall Doesnt even have the emotional range of a teaspoon.
He is a dull wooden spoon.
@KitsuneNight it's less tedious than it sounds, especially on portable hardware you can use during commutes, and I'm used to it in general since I've played a lot of older JRPGs where legwork was the only option. I do stoop to fast travel in BotW at times, but only for star shards because those things are damn rare and on a time limit (not to mention trollish cases like a shard spawning on a slope, rolling down into the water on your arrival and sinking below the retrievable levels under your very nose). But in XC3D, I [masochistically] stuck to legwork even when it meant hoofing all the way between Colony 9 and Makna Forest (including the obligatory climb up AND down in Satorl Marsh because the elevator still doesn't work and the otherwise abundant water is too far away to secure a jump).😆
That said, not gonna lie - I always make a frequent use of portals in many 2D metroidvanias (particularly IGA games including Bloodstained; elsewhere like Guacamelee, I'm not certain if portals even exist). Partly because it tends to be harder to manage enemy encounters in those games and constant backtracks can take a toll on your health and curative resources right before you might need them in a new area. I mean, in games like TES and Xenoblade, you can't get knocked back offscreen only to come back and find the entire room's worth of trouble promptly respawned.
Animal Crossing for me. With some Kona thrown in on the XBone since it's on Game Pass.
Can’t imagine squeezing in something that isn’t animal crossing right now
AC, Three Houses, and SSBU for me.
Recently ordered a pro controller and received it the other day, so hopefully I'll play Splatoon 2 to enjoy using it. May squeeze in some Mario Kart 8 and Team Sonic Racing. On the PC side of things, only planning to play the classic Theme Hospital again.
Bringing French enlightenment to the savage nations in Civ VI.
Exploring a demon-infested castle in Bloodstained.
Finding my friends and comrades in DQXI.
Turning my body into a lethal weapon in Ring Fit Adventure.
For me, it was Saturday.
I've been running around Eldin Provence lately in BotW before I go up Death Mountain. So today is Death Mountain day and get the second Divine Beast.
Also been enjoying the Ghost & Shadows mode in Fortnite. So probably play bit of that and maybe any other game I feel like playing.
I ordered Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 just in case we go into lockdown.
I'm currently playing Animal Crossing almost non-stop, with a bit of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon in between, and my daily Brain Training Sudoku and Tetris 99 offline challenge sessions. I've already poured over 70 hours into Brain Training and I have since stopped doing the brain age and training activities as I would rather spend my gaming time on Animal Crossing. I'll probably get my brain age checked once I'm burned out with Animal Crossing and see how much my brain has deteriorated in the process.
I also just realised that I should get back to Two Point Hospital as well.
I've also finally completed Sanrio Picross on 3DS earlier this week.
And the rest of my backlog is embarrassingly enormous. It would take several lifetimes to complete them all.
@Incarna
Yeah pretty much
They are all emotionally stunted blocks of wood
I think Ryudo ( Grandia II ) and Cloud do it best.
Cause both do actually have a personality and do change during the game ( and Cloud has a reason for being the way he is )
But Zidane and Justin are much more likable characters, because they aren't just brood brood, edge edge .
Nor are they so over the top enthusiastic you want to strangle them.
I stil need to play Beseria
But I need to play a lot
Shines
Several Atelier games
Several Tales Games
Both Ni No Kuni's
The Mana collection
Shining Resonance
The entire nepu series ( andnow i have that damn nep nep nep song in my head)
and a lot more
BUG ACADEMY !!!
This indie game is pure masterpiece! It is absolutely awesome!
So much fun ! love the funny bugs and music !
@nhSnork
Occasionally i do try to get in the spirit and do the actual leg work and "roleplay" properly in the game .
But i soon get bored and just use fast travel
Though what i really want from an RPG is that people actually respond to you accordingly.
Depending on your reputation, what you did in the world and what you are wearing.
Fable II and III came closest to that.
Final Fantasy XII on Switch. Got into it this time after not being too convinced on my first try. The gambit system looks very promising.
Xenoblade and Animal Crossing on my 3DS. Struggling to make bells in AC. I’ve unlocked the tropical island and set up the wealthy town ordinance, but still wondering how to make the 100,000s bells needed to build my town.
Hopefully finish this battle pass in Dauntless so I can finally step away from it for a while. Also dig deeper into Oninaki which I finally picked up on sale this week.
Not sure if I'm playing Animal Crossing or I'm living it. I'm plugging so many hours I don't know what reality is anymore....Plus I play New Leaf every night before bed.....almost logged 2000 hours on that one.
fire emblem the ashen wolfes dlc
and war groove coop dlc
I will probably be playing Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Arms and Pokémon Emerald
Busy invading people's palaces, as well as killing zombies/avoiding Nemesis. A bit of Animal Crossing as well at some point.
Lots of Animal Crossing..and I mean LOTS..I don't know why I never tried this series before because it's great! So addicting and I never knew being in debt would be such a good thing..
Stardew Valley has seen a lot of action too just lately but now I am deciding if I want to hook up with the any of the young girls..Emily,Haley or Leah?Jodi is my fave but unfortunately she's off limits..
Still right at the end of Trails Of Cold Steel 2..seriously,great game but it's beginning to drag..or is it because I have Final Fantasy VII Remake waiting?
Why play video games when you can just keep spending your free time scrolling through the eshop sale without actually commiting to a purchase....
@Crimson_Ridley
and..how is it!!? (ff7 of course)
After 100%ing the Messenger and beating Ducktales Remastered, maybe it's time to start a Tomb Raider. Maybe Rise now. And keep playing Panzer Dragoon Orta in my usual short bursts and Spyro Trilogy
Once I get home from work I’ll probably play a little bit of Animal Crossing and Resident Evil 3. Those two games should tide me over until Final Fantasy 7 Remake is released next Friday.
DOOM 16 64 and 2 plus animal crossing
@Nerdfather1
Animal Crossing will. Remake 3 won't
Its really bloody short
My first run through was about 4 hours.
My second is even shorter.
Playing Mario bros deluxe u. Having a ball with it. Bought just dance for kids and they love it!
With my Persona 4 Royal accidentally sent to my work address, I will have to make do with finishing off Ace Combat 5 and maybe Luigi’s Mansion 3. Then may try to go back to Kingdom Hearts 3.
Aside from daily strive to unite all five sectors of my map separated by the river, I am also preparing for the upcoming release of the HD/3D rerelease/remaster of Tales of Mana. By delving back into the original Collection.
My wife and I beat Knights and Bikes last night. It was a cute little adventure with a sweet story, but its combat really leaves a lot to be desired. The final battle in the game was insanely annoying, with us barely scraping by the skin of our teeth by chipping away at the horde with hit and run tactics for over 20 minutes. Aside from that, the game was usually pretty fun. It really makes you feel like a kid searching for buried treasure in your small town.
I've gotten back into Fire Emblem Three Houses this week, so I'm going to try putting some more serious time into it. I also beat Flipping Death last weekend, which I really got invested in by the very end.
Yesterday was quite a day for taking advantage of eshop sales. I grabbed Cat Quest 2 (which will be my next co-op outing with my wife), Songbird Symphony, Black Paradox, and Splasher. I got Good Job as well, as that trailer really looked irresistible.
Like most I'm playing Animal Crossing this weekend. I also recently bought One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 so I'm gonna be playing that as well.
Cold beer and megaman11
It feels redundant to post, but I’ll be playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons like everyone else under the sun. I’m slowly filling my town with the choicest neighbors via my collection of amiibo cards, but it’s taking some time, seeing as you have to entertain each candidate at the campsite for three days. Other than that, I’ve just begun the third game in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and I’ll be filling the gaps in between Animal Crossing sessions with that game.
On Switch, I've just picked up Velocity 2X.. I hadn't played it for years (on PS4 and Vita) and it seems at home on a small screen.. for £3 something, it's a complete bargain and cannot recommend it enough!
Also playing FIFA. Yes, I prefer FIFA on Switch to PS4. Shock.
On PS4, probably Dirt 2.0 (anyone with PS Plus should totally pick this up when it's available), and Monster Hunter World.
Fully sucked into animal crossing. So that and final fantasy 7. Also some goosebumps with the kids.
Octopath Traveler. I've done most of the chapter 3 stories now and some of those boss battles are getting very challenging. It's fun trying to figure out a way passed their defences.
Also a little bit of Doom II and Asphalt 9.
I'm balancing Animal Crossing and Persona 5 Royal. I only wish thieving skills could be used in Animal Crossing so I can pay off Tom Nook.
A whole lot of Animal Crossing..
Working on my PC backlog. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Batman: Arkham Origins.
@RonB It's incredible! I'm enjoying every minute of it. I'm about 9 hours in, and there's so much that's new, but doesn't take away from the original story, it actually fleshes it out even more and fits right in. I'm in love with the characters, especially Jessie!
I was so worried this wouldn't live up to my expectations being such a big fan of the original, but not long after starting to play, all of that doubt just faded away and I've become so engrossed in it!
@KitsuneNight Oh they're on the list. Especially if my employers wake up to logic and shut down completely for 2 weeks.
Playing Timespinner and Fight'n Rage. Two underrated gems from the eShop, imho, and on sale till 19. April in Europe.
I've nearly got the elusive platinum trophy on Lego Worlds. Not sure if I'll reach it this weekend, but hoping to make a serious dent in it. I picked up the Smash Ultimate Animal Crossing spirits yesterday and this morning. Crossed 1300 spirits, so trying to get the last hundred now. Played a bit of the surprise Arms party crash yesterday which was fun. Hopefully a bit of Super Mario Party with the family later.
Jedi Academy with some Animal Crossing sprinkled in.
A bunch of GB GBC games on my Super Gameboy 2 if I finalize the supercic installation, otherwise animal crossing
Still chipping away at Link's Awakening on Switch. I'm hoping to conquer the Turtle Rock dungeon during my next play session. So far, I'm enjoying this remake. VERY top notch!
If I don't cave to any of the sales, I might also start Katamari Damacy Reroll later this weekend. I picked up a physical copy of the game after loving the demo.
On the 3DS, I'm still playing WarioWare Gold on occasion. I've finished the story mode and am now messing around with the challenge modes. I unlocked Gamer last session, so I can't wait to be haunted by dreams of a possessed 5-Volt....
Happy gaming! Stay safe folks!
Animal Crossing New Horizons,
Octopath Traveller,
and Doom Eternal (on the PC, sure that's not a Switch game, but I will be playing it!)
Playing Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD. Just as fun as I remember.
I've lost a lot of interest in gaming last couple of weeks. Suspect I might have had Corona. Last night I saw Thimbleweed Park had a huge discount, so I bought it. Charming 80's type feel with a nice dose of Americana. It has a nice change of pace, which has helped. Stay safe.
Okami HD. I’m on the final land and I reckon i can complete the game in the next few days. An absolutely great purchase this really is a classic game.
Also dipping into Pikuniku which I bought last week. Hilarious game.
Jumping between Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry and some. Super Mario Odyssey. Trying to find the last 5 purple coins in the Metro Kingdom. They're proving to be elusive buggers.
I’ll be playing Mainly Animal Crossing, then some Good Job!, Super Smash, and a little Mario Maker 2.
Switch: Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Xbone: Resident Evil 3, DOOM Eternal and maybe some DOOM 64.
I'm getting settled back into Starlink finally. Unless I start getting other guns in game soon, I "may" consider DLC, but we'll see, it's still been fun. I'll be playing this in tandem with Blaster Master Zero 2, and since I have 0 chance of getting Ring Fit Adventure any time soon for a decent price, I'll be playing Fitness Boxing for now.
Okami! Beautiful game.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the ARMS tournament
Smash Ultimate to get the Animal Crossing spirit event spirits. Also more XB1 stuff, with double XP extended until late April and a Mayhem match earning 40-50k XP getting all the MCC Season 1 unlockables should be very easy.
I picked up Fantasy Life for the 3ds last night.
I created my character and first life, and I'm ready to go.
I am excited!
I grabbed The Messenger yesterday because of the sale and I'm having a good time so far. Animal Crossing is a given, but I'm putting in a bit less time than I have been because of the Bunny Day nonsense. That, and Joy-Con drift took a turn for the worse. Just moving around is a pain now. So I'll be focusing on games that use the D-buttons until I can comfortably afford to replace my Joy-Con.
I finally gave in and purchased Goat Simulator since it was on sale, and the girls have been wanting it. No regrets whatsoever.
I’m also going to keep leveling up the Chicago Bulls to Diamond in Playgrounds 2, since I like to select random players in NBA Season mode.
Still working my way through my first ever playthrough of Earthbound. I'm currently 25 hours in and I'm pretty sure I Love It.
When I eventually finish it, it'll be the first JRPG I've ever finished, which is chill.
It's also blowing me away, as I get deeper and deeper into it, how brilliant and profound a lot of the story is. Seems insane that this game was ever made.
@KitsuneNight
We can thank one Hermione Granger that bit of wisdom 🙂
@John_Deacon I’ve been thinking of starting up arise of the Tomb Raider also.. I loved the first one!
I’ve managed to complete Transistor this past week- I will probably remember the ending for a good while. I haven’t been so irritated about a game in awhile. I also started Child of Light and finished half of it before realizing I don’t care much for it. I’ll be checking out some of the other titles in my backlog now- maybe South Park Stick of Truth, Hob, or Torchlight 2. Hmm.. I’ve been refraining from purchasing more games since I’m trying to work on my backlog a bit before I drop some coin on all the games I want in May/ June. It’s so hard though... I want to check out that spring sale on Eshop!
On the Xbox front I’ve started playing Fe ( EA Access- great deal if there’s some games you’re interested in!) I’m also thinking about my next adventure with Miss Lara Craft! I’ve got RotTR installed now!
Happy gaming everyone and stay safe!
Back and forth from Days Gone on my PS4 and HyperParasite on Switch.
More Animal Crossing
Hi everyone, first post here. I'm playing AC and have already put in 80 hours making it my 2nd most played game on Switch after BOTW (220hrs). I usually play solo but I badly want all the fruit and flower varieties. Since AC is my life during quarantine I am embracing playing online with others. Happy to share my islands native resources (oranges, peaches, windflowers, hyacinths and tulips) in exchange for all other fruit and flower types (no a requirement). I don't think I have ever played a game for 80 hours and have so little to show for it but I'm addicted.
Have had a great week game wise . Completed link to the past for the 2nd time. Completed link b worlds as well. Nearly finished portrait of ruin yesterday but got eye strain. So game on PS4 on my tv was symphony of the night. Played it about 6 months ago and loved it but got stuck really frustrated me but started again today and completed! Just to the credits not all that secret stuff tho! yep this is a fantastic game that I feel I can replay again and again. Might start breath of the wild on Wii u take care everyone! X x x x x x
Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles HD (Windows Phone) - I was taking a break from this but I'm resuming this weekend.
Fallout 3 (Games For Windows) - Starting a new playthrough.
Yoshi's Woolly World (Wii U) - I've only just started World 1 so far, but am finding it enjoyable so far.
Beside AC, I just bought Sparklite for $12+ (on sale for $14.99 + some of my gold token. Cheaper than getting physical ( always my 1st choice) Been wanting to play this on PC (steam), but miss sales a few time and now I hesitate due to not comfortable giving my full info while using wallet fund )
This weekend i’m playing Animal Crossing, octopath traveler and blazblue cross tag battle
@Incarna is Oninaki this bad ? I haven't bought it yet, but am really interested in it. I am Setsuna bored me to death, and I was hoping this one would be better (I enjoyed the demo, not super good but not bad ever).
I've been playing Zelda Link's Awakening and its the first time I've spent any decent amount of time playing a Zelda game, I've enjoyed the experience so far- I don't like dying as often as I do though, I also playing a session of Motorsport Manager too at the moment.
Animal Crossing, Doom 64, Demon’s Tilt.
Like most of us, I will play Animal Crossing New Horizon (lots of eggs to collect !). I will also make some time for Ni no Kuni 1 and Yoshi crafted world
On ps4, I'm replaying Horizon Zero Dawn and Sekiro
@Incarna Hermione to Ron, right?
@Link41x I absolutely loved Woolly World on Wii U, I hope you have fun.
Pikuniku, beat it but there’s a few trophies still to find. Such a fun, cute, bright little game. ARMS, great game. Bought Runner 3 so more of that, and DOOM in one form or another... not Eternal though, sadly... not yet anyway. NintenDOOM me Panic Button! #StayHomeStaySafe everyone... ‘take a little space, to make a better place... #HealTheWorld’ ❤️
Been playing Skyrim and Pokémon Sword. Might pop in another game tonight, though; maybe Smash Bros. and try to play with some friends, if they're online.
Just picked up FIGHT'N RAGE on sale. Have been playing that and FF8.
@Guitar_bard
Yay...!
Someone also playing Fantasy Life 3DS 😀
@AmplifyMJ
What is your username in Nintendo Switch ?
Wonder if i accidentally met you from ARMS Party Crash event.
Btw, my username was David.H
@Anti-Matter I am really loving it so far!!
Just playing Animal Crossing New Horizons. Wanna load up on money for the stalk market tomorrow. I'll also try out One Step from Eden. Looks very good!
Splatoon 2! Played this morning with my kids and tonight with my wife!
Of course enjoying more Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but also taking breaks to play and reminisce over the newly released Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD on Switch.
@Guitar_bard and @Anti-Matter I've put the days in Fantasy Life and the 3DS to rest after the Switch launched, but that is a game I would love a HD remaster of or a sequel on the Switch!
@Incarna thank you for your answer ! I think I'll wait for it to be at a lower price then
@Incarna ah yes, I like to know how long is a game (I like long games myself, like Persona, or Xenoblade, this kind of long) but for a game as repetitive as it seems to be, maybe it is a good thing it's on the shorter side haha.
Haaaa no I don't think I'll dab on the 101 dungeon: I don't like this kind of dungeon to begin with ( I like to mix dungeon with quests or exploration etc) and with what you have told be about it, I'm SURE I'll hate it with a passion
Among other things to do, I spent my weekend playing Hunt: Showdown on PC, and Doom 64 and Animal Crossing on Switch!
@WesEds I've just started BOTW again too. I put about 80-85 hours into it when I picked up the switch a couple months after launch but never finished it. Figured it would be a good chance to get back into it with all this extra gaming time.
@Mamabear I've been playing it and I can tell you you'll like it a lot if you liked the first one. The latest trilogy (I don't know if I can call it this, but ok) is excellent in my opinion: a good deal of combat but essentially focused on exploration, with beautiful graphics and good stories. The action scenes are great too! One of my favorite series from recent time gaming
@JoeM103 same here, my original switch died so I got a switch lite just before all this happened so starting all my games again isn’t too bad
