@Krysus Definitely! They could potentially make a lot more money, especially if they offered at the very least, officially upscaled games for N64 library and up.
What would really be nice is a guarantee of a solid platform, akin to Steam, where we can buy classic titles from NES through to Wii U, for example, & no matter what future console we buy, those digital VC titles will be there for us to enjoy. Obviously, I realise there may be issues with licensing, but there are tons of 1st Party content that simply never gets represented & most people have to resort to piracy or stupidly high prices on eBay. I want them to focus on new entires & new IP, for sure, but it would be nice to have legacy titles available.
@somnambulance World of Horror is excellent - there was a little bit of a developer hiatus, but the guy doing it has bounced back & is delivering some awesome updates on the PC version.
Hopefully getting ready for the Musk takeover - I would imagine Tingle, Isaac from Golden Sun & Captain Falcon will be sacked as they haven't contributed much in recent years.
I've seen SwitchUp's review & confirmed my suspicions... This might be something I pick up in the sale when they've taken on board some more player feedback as it looks like the mechanics are not in synch with some weird design choices that impact fun.
I enjoyed the macarbe & scary stuff as a kid, but there's no denying that my stress levels rose when playing Zombies Ate My Neighbours, especially on Level 4 Chainsaw Hedge Maze Mayhem.
@Ventilator I think you're exaggerating a little here - 80%? I don't think there's many here that would agree with cancel culture. Equality, yes, but no-one was cancelling anyone, at most a few people may have answered with their wallet and decided to cancel their pre-order; that's their freedom of choice. You don't need to keep going on about it in a seperate post, the fine folks here brought a lot to the table already. I hope you can refrain from troll-like posts and keep things civil.
It's awful how underpayed voice actors are across the board. They can take away her role in this game, but she still has a voice; I'm glad she can retain her pride and stand up for what is right.
I was very fortunate to load up the link as soon as I got the email from Nintendo - preordered with no problems, but I feel for all those that missed out. I would have hoped Ninty would stagger stock over a number of hours / days to allow others to get a chance.
@Member_the_game I've just had word with your hotel about the lack of entertainment, so they've agreed to send you a copy of Contra: Rogue Corps as a gesture of goodwill.
Mario Kart Double Dash is my least favourite with uninspiring tracks (apart from a couple of obvious favourites like Yoshi Circuit) & a rubbish Co-Op switching character gimmick. Gamecube was fantastic apart from its two marmite games, Mario Sunshine and this MK outing - I know they are a lot of people's favourites, they just never clicked with me sadly. I had so much fun collecting all the coins and besting the tracks on Mario Kart Super Circuit for the GBA & tons of all-nighters on multiplayer Mario Kart 64, but I think Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just about comes out on top for the sheer volume of quality tracks, some of which are yet to come in the DLC ^_^
I hope these idiots were in the minority. This is clearly a passion project & we're lucky at all that games like these see the light of day. I would have loved to read Ron Gilbert's blog on bringing this new entry together. Some of the hardcore fans are the worst, thinking it's their right to have it done their way.
Leaves us wanting more! It will be nice to get an official end. I'm interested to see who will actually be voicing LeChuck as the voice actor has since retired.
Hydrocity Zone is intact, phew! It's going to be weird with the new tracks. It's not like they're that bad, it's just the originals were so iconic. I suspect PC & mods are going to be the best way to play this (unless of course you have the originals, VC entries on Wii or do emulation)

Hopefully this means they are going to release a bristle blocks set based on The Wand of Gamelon.
Re: Nintendo Says It Won't Raise Switch Prices, But Will Continue To Monitor The Situation
Maybe they can cut back on the quality of the Joy-Con analog stick / potentiometer parts to keep the price low?
Re: Switch Is Most Popular With 22-Year-Olds, Nintendo Says
So, looking at the chart, it's mostly 60+ years olds playing Splatoon 3?

Really want to play this with the family, but I can't get passed those ugly borders with the user logo.

Re: Talking Point: What's Your Favourite Music Track From A Nintendo Game?
I would have to go with Overworld Theme 2 from Super Mario Bros. 3 - gives me the nostalgic feels & happy memories of racing through the levels.
Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of Mario's Movie Voice?
So long as Chris Pratt's voice is used for Link, Pit, Captain Falcon & Kirby in their respective films, I'll be fine with this.

That's insane. Normal practice would be to have something in place behind a curtain so to speak and to switch over when it's ready.
Re: Random: Fake Nintendo Soundtracks Are Apparently Being Sold At Rip Off Prices
@TommyTendo All tracks are authentically & lovingly reproduced on a wurlitzer by a guy who plays the church organ on Sundays in my local parish.
