I see a lot of comments on Twitter and alike complaining about the different art direction & general lack of polish in the graphics department, but to be honest, I'm just looking forward to the fun factor.

@Mikmoomamimocki Yeh, I did think that entry was odd, especially considering it's a derivative of Scrabble. Pitchforks at the ready if a Zynga title wins the accolade this year!

To me, there's only 3 main competitors to OoT on the list:
PaRappa the Rapper, Resident Evil & Sid Meier's Civilization (maybe at a pinch Minesweeper). The thought of Candy Crush being on there makes me feel a little resentful, but I know it's super popular.

@Troll_Decimator the £70 price tags on PS5 games is a massive hurdle. Still amazes me to see how 3-4 year old games on Switch consistently sell well, but then that's a testament to the large install base and quality of the titles.

@Anti-Matter It was a commercial success upon release 9 months ago and sold 1.1 million copies in just a short space of time. The biggest issue will be lack of consoles due to manufacturer shortages, but I would imagine sales have been trickling in.

Some playing cards, some dice, a steelbook and a poster.... for £90. Yeh, hardpass from me. Will pick up the game at some point for sure, but those special edition extras are weak.

Wonder if they'll drop a trailer for the Mario movie?

Looking forward to buying NFTs of my favourite Amiibo cards. Hope they release some digitial albums for us to put them in and that they don't sell out.

The twist? Full on expanding into Ninty's IP, so I would hope to see the likes of Kirby, Kid Icarus, Samus & others get into the karts.

There, not expecting much, but if they don’t deliver on the above, I will be disappointed.

Still remains my favourite Zelda to this day. I love BotW, but TP holds a special place in my heart (Hmmmm TP.... I need TP for my bunghole)

I like to think there will be many more people like her as my generation and the several below me grow up. Age is irrelevant though as we can enjoy all sorts of things at any age. Grateful that she can share her passion!

@GannonBanned ^_^ I would imagine after the success of Alyx, there will be at least some more spin-offs planned.

Nothing wrong with teasing a project. Everyone needs to be patient and respect the long, arduous task of a game's development. I'm sure the wait will be worth it. 'When it's done' should be applied to more release dates instead of holding teams to specific time frames.

Aw, no love for Zombii U then?! I know it divided critics, but that was a solid game which utilised the gamepad perfectly.
Alien Isolation is still the scariest game I've ever played. I would love a sequel, but it's unlikely now.

I had fun with the last Mario Party, but boy, did those boards get old real quick. I'm grateful for the remastered boards in this outing & I'm really hoping they will support it with DLC in the future.

I hope that they will prepare for his eventual retirement for the role by recording as much dialogue / exclamation type sound effects so they can sample his iconic voice for years to come.

The saddest moment was when Kingdom Hearts 1-3 was announced for Switch, but only as cloud versions 😢

I'll probably wait for the GOTY edition before I buy Peppa Pig.

@Friendly Thankfully, we did get at least 1x Suikoden & 1x Silent Hill game on Nintendo hardware, but it would be nice to have the main series releases, for sure ^_^
I keep thinking how Fallout 3 & NV would be such a good fit on the Switch. Maybe Microsoft / Bethesda will continue to deliver past games like these with Nintendo as it would hardly hurt their exclusive lineup & will ultimately bring in a load of profit.

Sure, you can buy old gen games & consoles for less, but then you're not paying for the remaster and convenience then. I wouldn't particualry recommend playing them on the 360 as the performance was questionable at best.

@BloodNinja Saturn always gets forgotten as it was steamrolled over in the sales department by the PS1. There's some cracking titles there, but I feel like there wasn' t a huge amount of quality 1st party titles, outside of the AM2, Virtua Cop & sports titles of course. I miss the Dreamcast more though. Such a fabulous console with innovative features.

@victordamazio Fun fact: The original Yoshi from Super Mario World is from Dimension C-137.Although, each time you kill a green Yoshi using the sacrifical jump technique, or something similar, the next green Yoshi that pops from an egg is an illegal clone. The ending to Yoshi's Island of Terror on the VirtualBoy heavily hints that =0p

RPG leveling up system, inter-connected map that rewards exploration, back-tracking to former inaccessible areas with new abilities, a brooding atmosphere with appropriate soundtrack, enemies that make you think tactically & terrifying bosses.

Sadly, my special edition has not shipped yet from the Ninty UK store, so it looks like I wont be trying it this weekend. Something to look forward to next week though! Interested to see how the diffculty compares to Castlevania entries and titles like Blasphemous.

I never even thought about Travis!!! That would make a logical decision, considering his recent outing. Sadly another sword fighter though, but there could be so many zany ultimate smash moves that would raise a smile.

@TheRedComet I went with the WD BLACK SN850 1TB & then bought a QIVYNSRY M.2 heatsink, both on Amazon. Still stupidly expensive, but I split the costs over the next 4 months with the payment option on checkout.
GoT has probably been my favourite game this year, beating Spiritfarer for zen like experience. Well worth the money, even though I was initially annoyed at the upgrade cost from PS4 ha

@TheRedComet It's crazy isn't it? I've just upgraded the storage on my PS5, but with file sizes like that, it won't last long. Thankfully, Ghost of Tsushima will keep me going for ages ^_^
