Watched a short documentary on the closing just a few days ago. Super happy news for the staff and fans!

@BloodNinja Saturn always gets forgotten as it was steamrolled over in the sales department by the PS1. There's some cracking titles there, but I feel like there wasn' t a huge amount of quality 1st party titles, outside of the AM2, Virtua Cop & sports titles of course. I miss the Dreamcast more though. Such a fabulous console with innovative features.

@victordamazio Fun fact: The original Yoshi from Super Mario World is from Dimension C-137.Although, each time you kill a green Yoshi using the sacrifical jump technique, or something similar, the next green Yoshi that pops from an egg is an illegal clone. The ending to Yoshi's Island of Terror on the VirtualBoy heavily hints that =0p

RPG leveling up system, inter-connected map that rewards exploration, back-tracking to former inaccessible areas with new abilities, a brooding atmosphere with appropriate soundtrack, enemies that make you think tactically & terrifying bosses.

@TheRedComet I went with the WD BLACK SN850 1TB & then bought a QIVYNSRY M.2 heatsink, both on Amazon. Still stupidly expensive, but I split the costs over the next 4 months with the payment option on checkout.
GoT has probably been my favourite game this year, beating Spiritfarer for zen like experience. Well worth the money, even though I was initially annoyed at the upgrade cost from PS4 ha

@TheRedComet It's crazy isn't it? I've just upgraded the storage on my PS5, but with file sizes like that, it won't last long. Thankfully, Ghost of Tsushima will keep me going for ages ^_^

It will be nice to have a decent Mario Kart clone, so I really hope this makes the grade! It's so difficult when the benchmark is so high though.

@Octane_st1m Absolutely, couldn't agree more! I make exceptions for large games like Halo as it's something I will always play, but it's refreshing to have 1st Party games on the Switch that take a very small amount of space. Keeps my MicroSD card very happy ^_^

I re-read & I apologise for to refrring to Apple as CrApple. It's an easy and derivative slight on a Company, sure. I'm not sticking up for other companies & I don't deny that other Companies do the same thing & they are entitled to it. Maybe I got too defensive? It seemed to me, that I couldn't say a bad word about Apple, so I sarcastically added a quotation from a popular book. Is this what bothered you the most? Maybe it's my attempt at a sense of humuor that's not particularly well recieved. Maybe it fell flat, or I've been misinterpreted.
At the moment, Apple is making huge investments in TV & film & I suspect they will do the same with games going forward. It makes business sense.
Listen, I dont want to argue about my dislike for Apple anymore, nor do I want to get bogged down with arguments with like minded inviduals who are gaming fans in what's normally a very happy comment section.

Not sure whether to board the hype train with my Master Chief lunch box and Rayman Thermos, or to keep my expectations in check and then be pleasantly surprised when it does drop.

@CharlieGirl Maybe they could rely on old recordings? It would be a bit odd not to hear them at all. Sadly, I would imagine all of the budget would go to the likes of Tom Kenny & Richard Horvitz etc. leaving the chance of them organising Tim Curry to do new material very slim. It's probably super difficult for Tim Curry to travel too, so I guess they would have to send him to local studio =0(

I applaud the decision that ACNH & Smash are to have their own Direct. The whole cast for the Mario movie reveal just derailed the whole thing though. I couldn't really think of anything else after that.

@BloodNinja Aye, a lot of people prefer the 1st over the rest. There are moments in the others that shine, but some areas drag and feel a bit like cut & paste filler.

On a more serious note, hoping for a few stealth launches 'Directly' after the broadcast, including an expansion to the online library of classic games. Would love GBA to drop in there!

They should do console specific exclusive characters, like what they did with Soul Calibur 2. So, for the Switch, they could use Donkey Kong, PS could get Sackboy & Xbox could get Banjo & Kazooie.
