Still livoing the gamer , athough i still hope they'll add a classic mode (i suspect an update with dk and pauline constumes around dk's launch)..

for me the biggest problem is that when playing 2 player online the second player doesn't get any points... i often do this with my son and now one of us is playing just for fun, while getting a few points does help as a target and to align the competition

@cedarhyped barely anty loading in the beignning, but when you're in the endgame and switching between different areas, loading takes quite a bit... sometimes it spend more time loading an area like the sea people then i spend in that area (just collecting my ingredients)

@JohnnyMind @sylamp It does run a tiny bit smoother, but i also heard response time is a bit laggy , so great that they will make a new upgrade.. Mintrocket has been great in providing updates and new content for this, it really is one of my favourite switch games, and with the updates it is nice to return at times (even though the dlc's usuaully thake 30 mins to complete)..

mmm... think i might have played most ACNL this year, after ejecting some sd cart space into my 3ds and discovering new stuff...

MKW during dune.. lots to love, something not so much (the 3 lap structure is one thing, but what I really don't like is that player 2 in online doesn't count... i play in that setup often with my son, since years, but now only one of us get ranking points and the other just plays along...

@Kilroy one of the reason i keep the original around as shmup masche, have it now next to my turnable monitor so I can tate de luxe

But: The new kickstand can be used easily to set up the switch 2 in tate mode like that..

tried them last night... nicely reworking of the old tracks with some new effect and jump... good for the continuity with the four consoles in a row now...

Pure mode? think I prefer quality but it all goes so fat i'not sure... (not sure if more options is better is true here..if they are all so close)

I already saw that this was there on the nintendo pre event in amsterdam, so not not surprised it is the first... excacly one month after the switch 2 release, so i suspect a monthly drip from now on..

I never have play the GC version, and pleasantly surprised how fresh it looks..Dayse is so cool. Did like charged but in retrospect didn't really went into it.. The switch was disappointing, and too much focus on that special shot (as often with mario sports games these days), and the meta-game just didn't work...Bough it based on the review here which seemed to completely miss that

so quite happy that it is there, hopefully my kids will give ti a chance for 2 player..

I see the fear for AI replacing persons, but to make some trees in the background seems a like to the use of chatgpt by everybody in the office to get a basic text to save some time...

Although I play f zero on low levels. Lets see if indeed nintendo keeps improving them …

It's always interesting to see* what DF think of a new product. I'm not usually a big tech person (pc gaming? why? ps5? got it but give me games), but they can bring some new light to things, and John's retro specials on e.g. 'water in games' clearly shows his love for the medium.

I was expecting the screen to be the focus point, since basically I loved it until now, so I hope this won't be if you have seen it, you can't unseen it.

Many of the mentioned problems can be fixed in firmware, and I think only really show up in the real world (I guess in their japanese testing world they only had HGIG (am I the only one who thinks about the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy with this acronym) TVs and thought it was standard...

On gameshare: it's not for nothing ofcourse they used the example of 51 worldwide games as an example in the videos.. it's not really meant for fastfusion...

And the cables made me laugh... Even though i have to untie my cable soup, for a non-df setup they are ok for me

One of the 'advantages' if MKW being so expensive in a physical form is that most of it have it on our switch2s now... free roam is great for a quick session, and i am using it like that... challenges are nice and sometimes a bit original (like the odes to old courses), but agreed here that a few bosses (ds had those) , a tracker, and some more unlockables (10/10/10 for mirror is quite easily done without trying)... would be very welcome in an update..

Interesting choice, never really realised this has a soundtrack, but ofcourse it is the kind of muzak that works in spotify work related playlsits as well

I played enough to unlock Mirror mode, then went online,
probably will three star stuff on holiday , when offline is best option....

it is really weird by the way how it shows you highest reward, but not what you did on 150, until you look into it
(apparently my brother had won a gp on 100 cc on my son's account, and it took us a while that that was what was blocking mirror mode unlock for my son, because he didn't see he didn't have 150)

@DreadfulDragon although I agree that the camera function is worse, it does serve a purpose the normal camera does not.. you can put it on your handheld switch... and then image quality is ok for gamechat....

i got it with my preorder since it was cheaper than the official one , and so i felt i was saving some money... day after i saw the resolution..

but it is very cute, and I think the grip on the tv is nothing short of brilliant actually.. you have to 'get'how it works but then it just first without force, but by relieving of the weigh of the Pot..

quality for gamechat seems nice, but for the smiley-imitating game in Welcome tour it had trouble fixing my head.. (maybe a light-thing)... do wonder if jamboree will work,since i remember on the nintendo pre-event that camera was kind of amazing detecting four jumping bodies... (even dutch-length bodies)

Played it yesterday for three hours, and i felt sort of sick when moving the camera all the time.. will change this

just as a heasup, if you have a hori dpad extended switch 1 bag... the switch 2 fits in nicely...

might buy a new one down the road if it has rosalina northern light on it, but happy until now

It's a very nice controller, I did. already pres the c button instead of the home button three times though... not sure why it has to have such a prominent spot.. (but I guess they're proud of that feature)

Maybe good to mention there is a free demo, so everybody can test the start of the world tour... just played 15 mins or something yesterday evening, but felt some oomph was missing, which I had in the demo on ps5.. but I'll try again (when my kids are giving my switch 2 back;))

And why is there no classic grand prox mode to ust enjoy the great circuits.
