@Classic603 that is why the nes firts which such a challenge format.. basically this is the only way i can still tolerate nes games... the impact on snes games would be less, (although i would still love it), because they're games worthy of playing anyway...
@PJOReilly don’t you sort of write that in the review?
Anyway. Was one of my first 3ds games. Enjoyed it. But luigi’s mansion 3 makes this sort if obsolete for me. But will habe fun watching the df analysis after the holland game..
@NotoriousWhiz oh i understand, but ut can't be too hard to give the app that setting... (all those stability updates can be used for something useful) This just looks like a óh exciting i can't access' app to minors....
I would love va new for whom the frog.. game... preferably with a new hemingway pun.. The old frog and the Sea? A farewell to frogs?
but i don't really agree with the premisse of the article... to me it looks like Zelda Echoes is quite traditional... with just some things swapped around (zelda instead of link, magic instead of shuffle around puzzles)
@Paulo vancouver 2010 ds remains the best! Did expect tokyo 2020 to have a big sale somewhere along (bought rio 2016 the wel for the rio olympics discounted). But alas
will be going to the sensible soccer World Cup next month in Denmark (see sensible soccer.de), so will buy this at some point.... still it doesn't look that much like Sensi..
@Wisps I agree with you, but it's fun to see the critics in the '90s were a bit swamped with megaman so they couldn't see the differences and new stuff in nr 5 anymore, as the nso review crew noticed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKZ8T-3Z1ho
@Pillowpants my miyoo mini is always in the bag, but this is really nice for the moments i don't bring a back or a jacket... bought a 8bit zero 2 for this usecase
ordered it.. sort of fell in love with the golden nes cart...
do wonder what it will mean for the future of nsp wiyh switch 2 though.... is this the way to say... well you wanted to buy nes games and have the controllers... so here you are
@KingMike i’ve got a vectrex… a lovely little vector machine, but to call it portable? Sure you can eadily move it around your house, (and since it has a built in screen you have too), and out it opinyour car or something,…size is like an old mac se 30… love thr thing though … recently made this video about it since it is now on the pocket too https://youtu.be/Mf2rXOUeVM0?si=mWTdjQf-9ACG1ntr
With mario land it finally feels like it is a properlibrary which sort of represents the different phases… and nice of them to celebrate 35 years of game boy with launch year… that’s a good excuse for not launching it earlier… we can have a little celvration (you should put it in the article @damo since they pit it in the press release..
Always loved sml 1. Playedyed ut a lot but didn’t have it myself.. my little brother got it on a 16 in one cartridge a few years later i think.. prefer the flow to sml2,. Bought it finally when i got my analogue pocket last year
Still japan gets the best game… for whom the frog is an amazing game.. i actually find it funny.. if you are able to play a translated copy. . It’s ine of the top gb games… a more consise links awakening… (remake time nintnedo)
@Sarkos yeah for me as well. A special twitter account just for this soni could pick up the photos easily. I know nintendo later dod spmerhing for the smart phone but that always seemed more Complex
Loved the ds game… and since that is basically in the switch game.. they only have to translate a bit more..
The charm was in the little magazine articles etc.. that might be quite difficult to get the proper tone.. they should hire stuart campbell of amiga power fame!
@Jhena sure it does, but that's why it is so weird it is halten by the number of scans..after 2000 scans you don't need a tutorial anymore but are still only in chapter 3
@Jhena you are doing just solo dives then (looking at the time you're spending on just 3 dives/ amount of scans).... am doing 2 1 hour dives a day approx... now finding 1/2 new species per dive...
love the game, but dissapointed in the story mode.. at 2000 scan you got a segment which lasted for like 2 minutes..
recently rediscover the ds version, since you can do widescreen and analogue stick support (see gvg video on this).. but the first/second are still the best... vita one is nice too...
@sanderev I personally think it will turn around a bit.. the reviewers clearly didn't experience the online bit that much since it wasn't out
but if you do a comparison which endless ocean 2: that had a great meta story combining collecting, traininig and exploring on a nice overworld.. you felt like you were living the live... (played EO1 back in the day, EO2 this year when i modded my wiiu, just before this was announced)
Really enjoying it until now.. being there with 30 divers doesn't feel like to much since it is a big area... and nice to collectively looking for something..
@folkloner.. endless ocean 2 i'm now 180 hours in this year, so is indeed richer.. endless ocean 1 wasn't that inrteresting if i look back at it now.. just one sea...
after the review i was dissaponted, but now playing it i kind of like it.. (not sure for how long thoughh.. let's see what this event does...
Thanks for the read. .not sure i have a to go genre in case of sickness … i do get a lot of comfort tinkering with consoles if i feel cheesy… and sensible soccer.
mmmm, have ordered it, and wiull enjoy just swimming., but had hoped for more of this... loved the first and especially the second game (and diving), and found abzu just 'not really dive-like'and subnautica just to survival focus to just enjoy... we'lkl see
Recently started playing endless ocean 2 (modded my wiiu) , then the new one was announced and now have to finish it before the new version (story mode is done, but now earning 1 million pesos to reopen the caverns...)

Beat game in the genre is super skidmarks on the amiga 1200 with double screne 8 player mode… with cows…
Other favourites are rc motorstorm on the vita and suoercars 2 on the amiga, although that hasn’t aged well..
