The Switch was probably the first console I really enjoyed with my children... now 18/15, then 10 and 7 ( I had a commodore AMIGA at home at that age) ... Even though we already had a ps4 then, it (and the ps5) never were played like this one, and ofcourse it has been with us to england, thailand, croatia, portugal (wario ware!), and so many other places... Thursday S2 is coming... it has a halluva legacy to live up too...

Keeping my switch 1 for gameshare, and next to my turnable monitor to play Tate...

@datamonkey how was it underrated? everybody had it (got 2nd place in best Ds title last week in GVG)

@NintendoWife yes all the triforce games (f zero az eg ) are playable, numurous tutorials on youtube if need, but if you can use usb loader, it's easy

does it include sensible soccer?

Really nice to have some gamecube stuff to play.. . controller is pre ordered as well since i just love the gc controller and purple is my favourite colour

sort of interesting they do a lot with the crt controller, sicne the GC generation is the first on which the games are not really pixel arty anymore... f-zero gx looks modern better ( i play it on my wiiu these days)...

Are there no rumours on when mario strikers comes along.. on the amsterdam switch 2 event it was already included in the app .. so i can't imagine it will be that long...

@Rockgamer @ramouz @jumping_dead I loved the ps4 version too, alweays something to do and weird modes... didn't find any golf game on the switch really satisfying (mario golf, nice story mode, but not the 3 click system, and not many champs, golf story nice rpg, but not for some quick rounds).. so a portable golf game, at least on 3ds level is always welcome.... still play MG world tour at times... The vita version of EG is quite nice too, so I have hopes for this a nice little release...

wonder about the pricing.. (for patapon too.... L button on my vita is broken so difficult to play, even when remapping since it also needs al lcorssquarecirciletriangle buttons)

And sony games on a switch remains interesting just got forza horizon discounted on my ps5.. strange times

@NintendoWife you can play the firet two arcade ones on the wii. They are interesting for a while with the ‘cards’ you can fill with unlockables. But no real multiplayer this way

that adventure game looks really 8 bit text adventure ish.... and gradius is always good with that gradius collection coming soon.... (recently started playing gradius V when i got a cheap ps2 last year)

@Zufolobelisk yeah you're right.. weird timing... all sonic racing games seems to come (for me at last) at inconvenient times.. I only started playing the WiiU game (the best in the series imo) in 2021, when i was done with mk8dx (pre booster) and was looking for some new racing inspiration

@Anti-Matter depends on what yoy think is the alternative..if game keys make less game codes in a box appear it is a net benefit.....

And as Newman says, full physical almost never is full physical anymore due to updates.... so what Nintendo (it won't have been one person, knowing japanese culture) did was 'is this what you want"in a world where psysical on xbox cesased to exist and on ps5 only as an option)...

i did the piranha camera, pro en gc controllers.. hope i can wait a bit for the memory to get cheaper.. now have a 512 gb, so i probably would need a 1,5 tb in... ai..

@jojobar oh i do have nice physical ones too.. but i also see the trend that many games get such major updates (not just talking about switch), that you wonder if the classic physical game still exist

my point was just that i wasn't reallly expecting Nintendo to do it...since they already did a remade... and that people keep repeating the same ideas, doesn't make them real...

@NinChocolate Yup, modern physiucal media are basically an illusion... but limited run games is selling that ilusion (for 249 euros), so I can imagine people gwtting a bit upset (although it is also a mirror of ofcourse of what we are buying

Gamekeys are a good thing compared to a game code in the box (something real you can seel on), but ofcourse it doesn't solve the basis issues of digital games... even though what we still call physical media mainly contain the beta's (minimal viable products?) with huge one day patches and other services coming afterwards..

I have it as a widget on my phone and when I see a picture which interests me I click on it.. it is how I learned about the two most recent nso updates..

and nitendo life is now often quoting it, so I guess it means it is quite fast in news too..

And it cheers me up to see a bit of mario... would be niced if it merget with the other app(s) ... 3 nintendo apps with limited functions seems a bit much

I really learned to understand languages when I had Ancient Classical Greek in High School.,... Grammar really was a puzzle , which helped me when learning Italian and other languages like Bahasa Indonesia

If I play nso, i like it to be like the original (but i still have the wiiU version)..

And personally i never thought they would port the wiiU version, not really that much need for it, from a gaming perspective... (but it would probably sell ofcourse)

@WaveBoy I played mario kart mainly during the travel parts of my honeymoon (many boats, trains and buses in Indonesia), so in a way I had a honeymoon phase too;)

(still quite dissappointed in the ps5 though.. i only play astrobot... and got a cheap premium for a few months so played tokyo jungle.. that remade on the switch 2 would be fun)

Damn. Forgot how good the music was on SOR 1. And I guess my speakers weren’t aa good laat time I played. But now it is amazing (als played the 3ds 3d version yesterday but those speakers don’t do it justice)

So while my comment was a bit ‘easy’. The point still stand. We use the Qualifier of the title to refer to the sequal pretending it is the name. But hey in a way that’s okay too. It’s how some country names we use now are formed too..
