I really enjoyed backseat gaming in Felix's OoT streams last year, I'm looking forward to more in Majora's Mask (when prompted, of course, no spoilers in chat unless he asks!)

In my opinion the game will be broken until the 2025 format when all the Pokemon-V variants will be gone.
A core mechanic of the TCG is evolution. A Charizard-ex, for example, evolves from Charmeleon. Charizard-V is a basic that can be played straight to the bench.
TPCI hasn't facilitated a true evolution-heavy format since ~2005, and I think the game is worse off when it is all big basics instead of leaning into one of the defining aspects of the game.

Annual reminder that "Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball" was 100% completed for the GameCube in 2005 and cancelled last minute. There exists an alternate reality where Nintendo became the developer of the annual MLB game instead of Sony.

With 100% defined as "Caught Arceus and all of the bonus save file legends like Manaphy snd Darkrai", I have 100% the game.
If 100% means "level 10 research tasks and all sidequests cleared", "Max inventory size", or even "ALL research tasks completed", then I have not.

It still is weird that Link and Zelda never got amiibo for their Ultimate redesigns.

I hope that the n64-era game sites are still online.

Yeah, it went from 3DS & Wii U, to 3DS, Switch and Wii U, to I think just 3DS and Switch, and now nothing. Interesting.

Cute. Ogerpon was four differently colored Incineroar on the Island stage.
Teerapagos is three Squirtle, with the second and third being larger, metal, then gold, like its three forms.
The box legendaries have an electrified floor like the purple one's ability, and the starters each had a suitable replacement too.

The prior sets are generally added to the permanent pool in the next game update. I would expect that when Sora amiibo support is added in February that these Spirits will be officially added to not require a special event.

Even as just a silly article, the likes of Silver Falls and Fragrant Story (especially since last week's update) deserve a final spotlight.

Quality horror game made by one guy, and updated since release to be a much better experience.

Retro-style platformer. You'll die a lot, but the deaths are always funny and punctuated by a voice yellonf 'Bummer'.
Bosses are meh, but the game is worth it.

Cute little RPG.

The fact that this game even exists is an astonishing achievement.

This game is a quality platformer that found an excellent moderate difficulty level. The jokes every day are absolutely excellent too.

You just open the eShop and download the update.
All updates remain available, whether for download-only or physical games.
So, you can still buy a day-1 print of Mario Kart 7 and download the latest patch for online play.

The 'new' physical print is no different from the first one, only the 1.0 barebones version is on the game card. You need yo download the update from the eShop just the same. The game cards for sale today are not new, but already existed but could not be sold due to some manufacturer error.
