I think they knew they didn't really have a case. But large businesses like this usually rely on the scared tactic. I'm taking you to court, and have a lot of evidence! Back away or settle already!

@Bizaster under the bigger banner of Visual novels represented by Danganronpa. Although Danganronpa has these really tight action moments that were hard with a mouse already! So that's definitely the visual novel needing it the most!

I think the sprite in both others is way too close, you can't even see it all. Meanwhile the NA one shows almost the same pose, but more of the dreamy and relaxed world I associate with Klonoa. I honestly thought this would be a slam dunk for NA! 😳

Looking at it better I see how low-grade the sprites are, there's nothing else actually grabbing attention, and what is he even riding there in the bottom half?!...You guys are right!

@BenAV They were trending on a lot of sites, and that's just the pre-hype! I feel this helps them wat more than hurts because everyone now wants to know what this hot new console looks like!

I really felt this missed atmosphere somehow. I had way more fun with the refined controls on the 3ds though, so if they stick to not using waggle controls maybe it be fun to try again!

I'm just bummed out there won't be a second hand market anymore in 1 or 2 gaming cycles. It's the thing that brings me the most joy at cons etc.

And I think only digital will ultimately lead to more expensive media because they can ask whatever they want. And then lock it behind 1 console's profile like they do with Pokemon games at the moment. You don't het to tale your games to your (boy)friend!

Not to mention they can apparently also scrub it off your system, as demonstrates by Concord!

Apparently I'm in a minority here, but this one is my favourite of the three: soundtrack and games.

What I love most about 2 and 3 is that they both have such a clear identity! 2 is infiltrating the dark homeland of your Nemesis, 2 is going on a mission in, what to my uncultured behind, feels like the Rocky Mountains or somewhere gorgeous in Canada.

This soundtrack is so good! And if you just appreciate the songs for what they are, not what level or because they don't sound like the GBA one, you'll here the quality too I think!

Amazing addition this week!
Next week: a game that no one wants/ small release.
In two weeks: must be Windwaker, the last of the promised soundtracks! 🥳🥰

@TheMainMii I've started saving up for it, I'm ballparking 400 looking at the previous system and industry trends at the moment that seems to be a golden price parents could still fork over too. 500 is possible, again the competition is 600-1000 euros.

Meanwhile this also looks like a company that's created a game for profit, and has also found a way to do that in the most cost effective way. Especially when art and art design is such a big part of this game, this feels like a little slap to artists.

But there's also a part of me that thinks this look is kind of a hype right now, and people probably want to play a game with that in it..so it's smart marketing!

The pacing is indeed a bit slow, but we're getting there slow and steady!

I feel they tweaked some things slightly since the Wii days, because things I couldn't get to work suddenly do! 🥰

It's also worth mentioning that this game is the epitome of bang for your buck too! There's so much main story, you'll definitely be playing this for a while if you want too!

@rvcolem1 I'm still waiting for Tetris and Dr. Mario for the SNES. That games had a mode that mixed the two games which is my family's favourite multiplayer game! 🤎

I really could use some of the classics to make my playlists better and bigger.

But I always look forward to Tuesdays now, it's like a little fun present every week! 🤎

And this soundtrack has some fantastic laidback tracks, which are my favourites.
