Hades is on sale so I will definitely be taking advantage of that.
Cuphead might be worth it, but honestly i don't think I'll be getting anything if these are the highlights.
I was just having a look through my wish list and there's actually heaps that I've had my eye on that are on sale at the moment so I might end up going on a bit of a spending spree. Started with Horace which is a no-brainer at 90% off.
I'll be sure to take a look tonight... unless Deku Deals servers force me to do it tomorrow.😅
Not gonna lie, I'm kind of tempted by Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry 😅 (£7 in sale) It looks funny! Yeah I have an immature sense of humour.
Anyone played Snakeybus and had fun with it? (£4) I like arcade type games but wish there was a demo to try it first...
Tempted by Rollercoaster Tycoon too although it's only a small discount so IDK...
Glad the deals end AFTER Christmas/Holidays. Gives people a chance to use any money or gift cards on games they want but didn’t get.
Perfect timing for the Nintendo gift card my son is getting as part of his presents this Christmas.
Cuphead, Streets Of Rage 4, Hades, Blasphemous.....there’s loads
@BenAV Wow I'm surprised to see Horace on such a steep discount when it's been out for less than two months. I'll buy that for sure.
Finally, finally a sale that starts right after my old man gets his (well, our) Christmas bonus instead of right before the monthly paycheck. I'll bite as soon as it goes live.
@Dogorilla Yeah, that surprised me too. I've been waiting for it to go on sale but I would have been happy with about 20-30% off. 90% is crazy.
Taiko finally dropped below 30€ in Europe. I've often seen it in US eShop for $20 but it's never been as low in Europe. Now it's only 15€. I'll pick it up now even though I have two other rhythm games I'm playing.
Also saw Horace for 1€. I remember it getting a 10/10 from NL so it should be worth it even if I don't end up liking it quite as much as the reviewer.
Also for those still interested in 3DS games and RPGs, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Etrian Odyssey Nexus, Persona Q2 and SMT: Strange Journey Redux are all super cheap. I already own PQ2 but I'll gladly take the other 3 for 7.50€ each.
@Dogorilla @BenAV Wow, good spot... £1... Amazing. Downloading now.
My wallet is starting to burn.....
@Dogorilla thanks for the tip, did not see it was on sale! At this price, it's a no brainer considered its review! Can't wait to try it.
@terry93 Nintendo Life should highlight it given they gave the game 10/10! Maybe they didn't spot it. Hopefully they'll read these comments and add it.
Ah, @jump, here's the pre christmas sale europe/uk get that north america doesn't get (I think it was you that said you wish you got the black friday eshop sale that north america gets last week of november. If it wasn't you. Oops🤪haha)
Thanks to everyone that spotted and recommended Horace – we've added that to the list!
@Late appreciate the heads up on 3DS games, gonna have a look at my wishlist and hopefully pickup some gems for later.
@Late Thanks for the 3DS Atlus alarm call. I’m going to have to add Radiant Historia.
These sales literally kick sand in the face of Switch owners.
Capcom charging £11.99 for Resi 4 on switch when the triple pack (4, 5 & 6) is £11.99 on the PlayStation is an excessive markup for "portability", but while people keep paying publishers will keep overcharging.
I'm just glad the Switch isn't my only console and I'm able to get the best deals on games.
First time i really smiled looking at the current offers. This was just amazing and finally i managed to see games that barely have offers to have promotions.
Props for that tagline / subtitle.
@BenAV thanks for noticing Horace. Downloading it
Wow, Fuser at 30% off. I guess I made the right choice to wait one month.
Thank god it ends after Christmas Day, I can use some of the Christmas money I've recieved!
Don't forget the 3DS. Etrian Odyssey Nexus and Persona Q2 are on lowest price ever sales on that eShop.
I’m getting about $60 in eshop cards for Christmas. I wish there was a huge sale on ACA Neo Geo games (it happens occasionally). I would gladly triple dip Baseball Stars 2, ‘Nam 75, and others for $3.99!
humm nothing to me, at least i would have bought hades, but i just bought 2 days ago doom eternal so nahhh , and i already decided to pick up sniper elite 4 or immortal fenyx next month
Horace is an amazing game.
So good that I don’t even feel stung having paid full price just a couple of months ago.
@Clyde_Radcliffe Snakeybus is alright. £4 is about the right price for it - it feels like a cheap game in terms of presentation and general jankiness of the graphics and physics but it's good fun in small doses. There's a good sensation of speed and chaos and it has that just-one-more-go factor.
My main issue was the load times when switching levels. They're not horrendous, but long enough to be annoying for what should be a quick pickup-and-play game.
I want to buy resident evil 4 but I don’t really have the available funds and it could be literally weeks before it’s reduced again
Only thing on my wishlist that has a discount that I am happy with this Bloodstained: Curse of the moon 2.
Pang Adventures is down to £3.69 - despite looking like a cheap mobile game it's really good arcadey fun, especially in 2-player coop. Great title theme music too.
I added to my backlog Aggelos at - 65%, Horace at that huge discount and am tempted for Kentucky Route Zero at - 40%.
@Stephen_H Thanks! I'll give Snakeybus a go as it's only £4. At least the devs were trying something different and it does look a laugh from the YouTube videos. I don't mind a bit of jank.
Horace. Everyone will download that now
I had a tenner (well £10.15) on my account so got Horace, Yoku’s Island Express, Be-A Walker and The Forbidden Arts. Not bad really! I’ll be chucking some virtual coin post Christmas as I’ve seen plenty more I want !
Annoying how the Switch eShop only let's you make around 5 purchases from one card per week
Kind of strange seeing sonic forces reduced to 28€ while the normal price in the US is 20$ and it goes on sale there regularly for 9,99$
@LEGEND_MARIOID I haven’t heard of that, did you try using the website (sometimes your creditcard requires a verification which the on console eshop doesn’t show)
Just picked up Horrace, and Gods (from the Amiga).
Am tempted by North & South but being a big fan of the Amiga version, this version looks to have lost that charm that made the original so good.
Also tempted by Pang, but not a fan new look
@LEGEND_MARIOID put money into account and then pay it from that?
Turns out mario kart 8 is better than garfield kart. I guess the reviews were wrong
@ChaosBadger777 tight arse 😆
Seems normal for a Switch sale. 10 Good games and 880 Mobile clone rejects
@sandman89 not really. I only get a limited budget for hobbies each month, so the more I can save the further it goes.
@ChaosBadger777 yeah but you probably haven’t got time to play them all anyway. I’ve seen me buy games because they are cheap but then never touch them it’s a crazy world
@ryancraddock @Grauz @Late @Dogorilla @BenAV Horace is so good!! Played it for 2 hours, and I'm a little blown away. The level design, charm of the characters, the story and how it weaves in with the gameplay is just fantastic. I wasn't expecting a pixel game to hit me in the feels and make me laugh so much! This deserves to be much more famous than it is. I hope word of mouth via the sale gets it the success it deserves. Hope you're all enjoying it too.
Looks like I’ll be playing Horace for the rest of the day.
Horace is the best Switch game of the year for me, and one of my favourite games of all time. I'm thrilled to see it getting so much love in the comment section.
@Dogorilla downloaded this one straight away
@michaelf loved yokus Island express, even my wife played it to the end
@BigE I’m gonna give it a whirl this weekend!
Assassin's Creed Rebel collection was half price too. Might interest some people
Yeah I instantly got Horace as well, looking forward to that. There's a few more very tempting ones, I'll probably dip in again.
Yoku's Island Express is a great game, such charm, I found it a lovely chilled out ride.
Tried to buy horace but due to high demand its now sold out
@USWITCH64 you are cracking me up today buddy 😆👍
I love my switch but these prices are very high compared to other platforms. I think slowly but surely moving back to PS platform.
Bought Horace of course But also a ton of others such as What remains of Edith Finch and other (for me) half hidden good games. Just hope to find the time to play any of them hah. (Loved "A short hike" with my son and now playing the Downhill: Lonely Mountains game mixed with Paper Mario).
Horace is a bargain bought it last night really enjoying it so far I can honestly say I have never played anything quite like it gonna grab hades today heard so many good things about it
Don’t know if anyone else is having issues with the eshop on their switch but mine takes ages to scroll through all the offers I find it easier to go on psprices.com and view the offers on my phone
Time to panic buy everything I want at 11:50 despite making a list when the sale started, like I always do.
Waiting for NFS: Hot Pursuit to drop. Do Nintendo have New Year's sales?
Got a move on 10 days ago and walked away with quite a haul (mentioned some of it last Saturday), so no fret.
@Gs69 eShop's main issue is that at some point through a long discount browse it decides to clear up some cache... whereafter you can click one game page mid-list... and then go back to find yourself all the way back at the beginning. I still monitor it for account-tied discounts, but otherwise it's admittedly all Deku Deals with me, too.
@nhSnork sometimes it just grinds to a holt and won’t load any images and I have had an issue with purchases where it starts to go through but just times out mid way so I have to come out go back in and it lets me complete the purchase it’s quite annoying
Was it really 900? I scrolled through them all yesterday, i found two games i was interested in. Samurai Shodown has another 20 days left, and waiting on a review of Hong Kong massacre for Switch. Everything else was pretty meh for me.
Still forgot about picking up bloodstained 2 but at this stage I may not have the time to play it with other games I am currently playing so I may just wait for the next sale.
I just go Sayonara. Thanks for heads up (though it has six days to go at its discount price). I also got many rogue-likes. 🥰🥰🥰
I didn't get anything... my Switch is starting to look like my Steam Account with games I've never played!
@Clyde_Radcliffe leisure suit Larry is totally worth it at that price . I bought it at that price and loved it . Got about 15 hours out of it . The only thing that lets it down are the puzzles can be on the hard side but that might just be me
Went of a bit of a spree on the deep discounts and the well rated one (across the board). I may well be done. Largely ignored the poultry 10% discounts
I got Horace and was considering panzer paladin. Anyone recommend that one?
@Mario_Fart I found it loads cheaper as physical, if it helps
I'm wondering if there will be a sale in January
@TYRANACLES panzer Paladin got really good reviews on release. I fancy that one too. Haven't seen it on sale once yet though.
i was hoping for arcade archive games to be on sale, namely contra, p.o.w., and my favorite of all time, double dragon
none were
