It's cool to see them releasing something that hasn't been available before and is actually pretty good, unlike much of the rubbish they pump out. But, the price is silly.

@SalvorHardin They need to go back to basics. HD reboots of the first three. Or even a HD reboot of Mortal Kombat 360 version, that was an excellent version. I still don't understand why we don't have the arcade collection on modern systems. Surely a simple and lucrative port.

I'd love to see an app like this but only you have to collect NES and other system box art cards. Add in foils of characters etc. That would be awesome.

It looks phenomenal, I just hope it doesn't include the two continues and a couple of lives that these guys are known for. Just give everyone the option to turn that on or off.

Obviously a Switch 2 launch game and exclusive. No mystery here at all.

This game is amazing. Remember the fun days of trawling the XBOX 360 store and all-new Indie storefront? I spent many a late night downloading endless amounts of games, but mostly looking for shooters. I happened to find this new release one Friday night and struck absolute gold. I pray that someone makes a physical version. this game needs preserving.

This looks absolutely shocking. The original iteration is and always has been the best. It's already available on the other rehash which came out a year or two ago. Just get that.

Obviously not. He is certainly recognisable, but has fallen fairly flat in recent years. None of his games outside of the main series have been that popular. Plus, he's modern indie, not classic retro. A great game, a great character, but not a retro icon.

@joey302 Sure, but nearly all of, if not all are already available of arcade archives. TAITO have such a rich catalogue and it's always the usual suspects that get released.

Where are the sprite scalers, racing games, chase hq's, etc. They've got lots of excellent arcade racers and they never ever get released. t

It's good to see games getting fixed, but its also tragic that it released with so many issues, with so much riding on it. The cut scenes shouldn't feature at all during arcade mode. It's really lazy.

Where are all the people that swore it had no lag or framerate issues at?

@Truegamer79 this demo is already questionable. Wayforward do indeed have excellent pedigree and I'm a fan of their games, but this first level was just o.k.

How do people release games with features not working, I mean c'mon, nobody tested that?

I'm a huge fan, like most of us, and this game is pretty good, but already has plenty of performance and control issues. Scrolling stutters and slowwwwwwdown, C'mon slowdown on a game like this? characters feels tiny and somewhat lost. Controls feel like that have a little delay, and the guns are a little too slow, just like in Spidersaurs, another Wayforward game. It runs much better on other platforms.

@Serpenterror No, it really is that they don't want too, nor can the hardware support it. The time and money required to make it work, is something nobody cares about on the Switch. if they did, we'd already have those new games, we don't. It has absolutely nothing to do with sim games being boring. That's a ridiculous thing to say.

It's very very very very obvious this is a switch 2 launch game. You won't see it before then. And yes, my Dad owns Nintendo.

This would be amazing, they could do a Strider too, seeing as this game basically feels like that.
