So so happy this has finally arrived. This IS the greatest shoot-em-up of all-time. Downloaded it immediately that it was listed, played for five hours straight. Still as mesmerising as it was all those years ago.

@Nua Why? It's excellent value, when you consider a single Joycon is more than half the cost. Honestly the best peripheral you can get for the system, completely changes it.

There is literally a mobile game that uses Super Mario World sprites, like actually Mario and Luigi.

I am once again madly in love with this game. That water still looks and feels incredible, it's threatening and then helpful. I remember buying my N64 with this game, going home, turning it on and just being blown away. To me this was true next level gaming, this was the arcade at home.

It's a brilliant idea with a cool and vibrant aesthetic, however it's awful to play. locating the ball is far too difficult for a game centred around just that.

@NinjaNicky My point is we are talking about using the Joycon as a lightgun. In doing this it uses the IR pointer, not the gyro control.

@NinjaNicky Gyro and joycon is not the same thing.

if the screen filters are the same as the first one, which I assume they are, they're actually brilliant and are only outdone by the ones on Gley Lancer. Maybe you didn't set them up correctly.

@NinjaNicky exactly, and when using the joycon as a pointer, they are terrible. I've tried them with this game and it is god awful.

@NinjaNicky Yes, but they work terribly, and it will always work terrible with joycon regardless of what it's sat in.

@larryisaman I've never known a single game that I've pre-ordered go live at midnight our time, not one. So much so that I will never set aside time or a day off to play anything new as it never arrives until 3-5pm

@larryisaman All games are released on a N/A time scale, meaning if you're in the U.K you wont get it before mid to late afternoon.

Add Turbo functionality obviously. I cannot understand why every controller does not feature it.

They need to clear some stock before they announce the new model.
