@Nua Why? It's excellent value, when you consider a single Joycon is more than half the cost. Honestly the best peripheral you can get for the system, completely changes it.
I am once again madly in love with this game. That water still looks and feels incredible, it's threatening and then helpful. I remember buying my N64 with this game, going home, turning it on and just being blown away. To me this was true next level gaming, this was the arcade at home.
It's a brilliant idea with a cool and vibrant aesthetic, however it's awful to play. locating the ball is far too difficult for a game centred around just that.
if the screen filters are the same as the first one, which I assume they are, they're actually brilliant and are only outdone by the ones on Gley Lancer. Maybe you didn't set them up correctly.
@larryisaman I've never known a single game that I've pre-ordered go live at midnight our time, not one. So much so that I will never set aside time or a day off to play anything new as it never arrives until 3-5pm
@Fizza The language barrier in the second game makes it unplayable after a certain point. The first game allows you to compete in instant arena battles meaning there is no language issue. What would be the point of including games that you cannot play, or very well?
This game is awesome and I managed to play it for a bit before getting stuck. It is a criminal offence against Westerners that this isn't in westerners language.
This reminds me, there was a game announced probably a year or so ago whereby the levels drew themselves as you played, or something similar. It looked really interesting, but to my knowledge has never released.
Who can remember just how purely magical it was t o have SF2 on your home console? I will never forget the day I went to my friend Adam's house, walked up the stairs towards his room and could hear the title music coming from within his room. His cousin had imported a NA copy as it wasn't out in the U.K for another couple of months. When I left that room I begged borrowed and possibly stole to get my own copy and one of those big import cart pass through devices to allow me to play it. Me and my friends spent an entire summer just playing SF2. Now when Turbo came out, that was an entirely new level of amazement. Fantastic, golden memories.
Add more power. Job done. That's all that is required to make a new system and subsequent ones for the next twenty years. They're never going to go back to a two system set-up, hybrid will stay, it's quite simple really.
@Tom-Massey The glaring issue as far as A.I is that you can be punched out of the air when performing a flying kick, it defeats the point of being able to perform a flying kick. Also, the game often completely overcrowds you and puts you in a situation your character cannot move fast enough to deal with, resulting in you aimlessly losing precious life. To me it just feels like they took it out the oven a little too early.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Wave Race 64
@TioRogerio Yes. This is the definitive version of the game.
Re: Sega Announces Space Channel 5 And Comix Zone Movies
@ATaco The painful '90s aesthetic is what makes it awesome. Without it, it could just be any other movie.
Re: Poll: So, Wave Race 64 Or Blue Storm - Which Is Best?
@Anti-Matter Sure, if you like playing rubbish games go for it.
Re: Poll: So, Wave Race 64 Or Blue Storm - Which Is Best?
@Anti-Matter Do not waste your money on that game, it is dreadful, especially on switch.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Wave Race 64
You missed out the second and final Japanese release, the white box. I personally think that one is best.
Re: Hori Reveals The Split Pad Fit For Nintendo Switch
@Qphlat27 I literally just said the same thing. Amazing piece of kit. I'm not sure I want a smaller one though.

Re: Random: Mobile Game Spotted Using Official Nintendo Imagery
There is literally a mobile game that uses Super Mario World sprites, like actually Mario and Luigi.

Clearly down.
Re: House Of The Dead: Remake Gets An Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
@NinjaNicky My point is we are talking about using the Joycon as a lightgun. In doing this it uses the IR pointer, not the gyro control.
Re: Mario Galaxy Meets Rocket League (With Guns) In Twin-Stick Shooter 'Aniquilation'
looks like a poor mans nano assault
Re: House Of The Dead: Remake Gets An Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
@NinjaNicky Gyro and joycon is not the same thing.

Re: House Of The Dead: Remake Gets An Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
@NinjaNicky exactly, and when using the joycon as a pointer, they are terrible. I've tried them with this game and it is god awful.
Re: House Of The Dead: Remake Gets An Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
@NinjaNicky Yes, but they work terribly, and it will always work terrible with joycon regardless of what it's sat in.

Re: Review: F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch - Frustratingly Close To Metroidvania Greatness
@larryisaman All games are released on a N/A time scale, meaning if you're in the U.K you wont get it before mid to late afternoon.
Re: How Do You Improve The Switch Pro Controller? Just Add Some 'Click'
Add Turbo functionality obviously. I cannot understand why every controller does not feature it.

Re: Treasure Is Apparently Working On A "Highly Requested" Title
@JasmineDragon It factually isn't the same team, they disbanded long ago. This will be the re-re-release of Radiant Silvergun, which I'm happy about.
