I remember a similar project being on KS some five or six years ago. It's a cool idea but that artwork is absolutely shocking.

@Luigia Shinobi is amazing, but I'm personally leaning towards Ninja Gaiden right now. Ninja Gaiden's levels are at times too long and become a little tedious, but it a much more direct game. Shinobi is essentially a Metroidvania. There is much exploration and goodies to find. I personally prefer a more 'arcade' approach. In fact I'd love to see Ninja Gaiden in an arcade style, just straight levels. Punchy, and to the point.

Imagine if you could actually freely and easily trade cards? That would be something. Trades make absolutely zero sense. Also the drop rate for cards has gotten terrible. I opened a new pack of a new set and got three identical cards. It's a laughable cash grab. However, the art is wonderful, the app runs brilliantly and battles are fun. But a trading card game with a horrible trading system is pointless.

What they should make is a Minecraft Dungeons game. So much more scope. Although I didn't think this film was terrible.

@Clammy Agreed. But, those game prices are starting to tumble. I saw SF6 for £32, and all others reduced by 10-15

This looks terrible. Best thing about it is the original arcade cabinet at the beginning.

O.k, now this is awesome. This is what more developers should be doing.

@SuntannedDuck2 The Genesis V.R was literally unplayable due to jerky framerate, but looked seriously cool. I know I would have been an instant buyer.

At this price it should also come with a replica controller. Those pads were very cool.

@Warioware Thery're actually pretty impressive. Best played on a meta Quest headset. This allows you to alter the colour and see the true vision of the system.

The VB was actually a really cool system, or rather idea, but the hardware of the time couldn't realise the vision. The best way to experience it is via a Meta Quest headset. However, I think that this is really cool. A crazy peripheral.

It's a brilliant game, but I find the action is interrupted at times by the Kunoichi Sections. I wish you could play the game in it's entirety as her. She is far more fun then the Ninja, or at least in my opinion. What I would truly truly love is a modern game like this, but done in the original 8-bit style. A Mega Man 9/10 situation.

That 2600 is quite hideous, but the release of the latest 7800 pac man is fantastic news.

I'll obviously opt for the SW1 version then. No silly game card.

At this rate the switch is going to require an external harddrive solution. All these key cards will quickly kill even a 1TB card. If this is one, it must surely be 70-100 gig.

It's not actually anything to do with it though, nor an Atari game. The game already existed and Atari felt that it fitted their vibe.

Yes, RR was amazing for the time but it's so overhyped. It isn't fast or exciting, the engines sound weak and the handling just isn't what everyone makes out it is. There are so many superior arcade racers.

What a surprise, as will many other retailers. Sadly they just accept far more pre-orders than they can ever fulfill.

I really didn't care for the original, this at least visually looks much much better.

It's cool to see them releasing something that hasn't been available before and is actually pretty good, unlike much of the rubbish they pump out. But, the price is silly.

@SalvorHardin They need to go back to basics. HD reboots of the first three. Or even a HD reboot of Mortal Kombat 360 version, that was an excellent version. I still don't understand why we don't have the arcade collection on modern systems. Surely a simple and lucrative port.

Complete waste of time unless you enjoy waiting six further months for your games. Japanese version is the way to go.

Obviously a launch title. Hence why it was scrapped and started over.

I'd love to see an app like this but only you have to collect NES and other system box art cards. Add in foils of characters etc. That would be awesome.

It looks phenomenal, I just hope it doesn't include the two continues and a couple of lives that these guys are known for. Just give everyone the option to turn that on or off.

This game is amazing. Remember the fun days of trawling the XBOX 360 store and all-new Indie storefront? I spent many a late night downloading endless amounts of games, but mostly looking for shooters. I happened to find this new release one Friday night and struck absolute gold. I pray that someone makes a physical version. this game needs preserving.

@1UP-HUSKY it's really good. And you only pay local postage rates regardless of where you live in the world. Order to your door in about a week.
