@CRASH64 Hey dude, we're all different and our brains are all stimulated differently. I just prefer my teeth smashers to be a bit quicker, sharper and with more crunch. I wanted to love it, but don't. I might with the new characters, but cannot be bothered to grind to reach them. I tried the other night but was bored just doing the first level.
@CRASH64 Yes, maybe, but the game is utterly tedious. These characters look fun, stronger, faster, but playing the game to unlock them is boring. They should just be available.
@MirrorFate2 With earned in game currency. They are unlocked but you have to play the game to earn coins to then buy them. You can't just turn it on and select them.
I wish you could just play them, rather than having to play to then buy them. This game is so tedious, but these characters look fun. Faster, stronger, just what this game needs.
@Johnno137426 Yeah, I played it a long time ago, it doesn't run very well on Switch. It's o.k but the framerate jitters ruined it for me. Do you use STEAM?
@Johnno137426 It absolutely is. Hiring a highly revered game designer, to oversee 'some' of your track design, does not make a highly revered game. Is they completely overhaul the A.I and update it, it could be good. Currently it's just so ridiculous that as you say, it only infuriates. I love driving games, played most of them, consider myself to be pretty good. I enjoy the accomplishment of learning mechanics, but, you'll never learn, and overcome a game that is simply poorly designed.
Lacklustre. Ninja Gaiden 2, is a stone cold classic, but the lineup is hardly worthy of launching a new platform of games. That said, much of the arcade archives is also sub par, so I guess it makes sense.
The game should have leaned further into the arcade roots, in both presentation and game play. This A.I., is utterly ridiculous, they perform like Scalextric cars. You obviously do need to brake at times, and when you do you get smoked, or they bash you off the track in the corners. It was fun for an hour and then became sadly boring. Presentation is bare bones, it also needs button remapping ability. I know it's a small thing, but the name is pretty crap. A decent eshop trailer would help their cause, instead of it looking like one of those scam games that will retail at launch for 99p. An intro, some drama, rather than flat menu's would also go a long way. Dial back the a.i at the very least, as people will rapidly become bored. This is currently like a sim racer, with the clothes of an arcade one. Oh, also ass a 'Re-start race' option, you currently have to quit the entire championship, go back to the menu and start over again. In a game that requires absolute perfection, this is just another annoyance.
It seems silly to me having a solo game cover for a compilation. What they should have done is had the standard art as the cover but the reverse a choice of a solo.
I absolutely love it. I've been through it about seven times now and cannot get enough. It just feels amazing to play and thankfully didn't fall into the trap of tacking on stuff to make it 'Modern'. Everything about it is meticulously thought out and designed. This for me is what modern throwback games should be. For me it's an easy 9/10. I think it's a shame that people are complaining about the price. This is a small studio handling a huuuge license. I applaud them. By a country mile the best thing these guys have ever done.
@Luigia Shinobi is amazing, but I'm personally leaning towards Ninja Gaiden right now. Ninja Gaiden's levels are at times too long and become a little tedious, but it a much more direct game. Shinobi is essentially a Metroidvania. There is much exploration and goodies to find. I personally prefer a more 'arcade' approach. In fact I'd love to see Ninja Gaiden in an arcade style, just straight levels. Punchy, and to the point.
Imagine if you could actually freely and easily trade cards? That would be something. Trades make absolutely zero sense. Also the drop rate for cards has gotten terrible. I opened a new pack of a new set and got three identical cards. It's a laughable cash grab. However, the art is wonderful, the app runs brilliantly and battles are fun. But a trading card game with a horrible trading system is pointless.
@Warioware Thery're actually pretty impressive. Best played on a meta Quest headset. This allows you to alter the colour and see the true vision of the system.
The VB was actually a really cool system, or rather idea, but the hardware of the time couldn't realise the vision. The best way to experience it is via a Meta Quest headset. However, I think that this is really cool. A crazy peripheral.
@ShadowRJ To show willing perhaps, like "hey, we here you guys". But, facts are if enough people start voting with their feet and not buying them, they will have no option but to stop making them.
It's a brilliant game, but I find the action is interrupted at times by the Kunoichi Sections. I wish you could play the game in it's entirety as her. She is far more fun then the Ninja, or at least in my opinion. What I would truly truly love is a modern game like this, but done in the original 8-bit style. A Mega Man 9/10 situation.
At this rate the switch is going to require an external harddrive solution. All these key cards will quickly kill even a 1TB card. If this is one, it must surely be 70-100 gig.
Yes, RR was amazing for the time but it's so overhyped. It isn't fast or exciting, the engines sound weak and the handling just isn't what everyone makes out it is. There are so many superior arcade racers.

@Gamer_Griff Agreed. This is none of those things.

@Shiryu It is a huge shame, but I have seen this on sale in shops for £20, so that eases the pain.

Why Limited Run? I'll buy the digital day one, but this sucks.

@eaglebob345 Crazy isn't it. But, I have seen WWE on sale for £20, so in that respect, decent.

@eaglebob345 WWE isn't even a keycard, it's a code in a box.

@OneArmedGiant Those are two separate things, hence the numbers. They've never been one package, sadly.

@JJtheTexan The switch version already has both.
Re: Capcom Arcade Stadium Physical Features Five Cover Options, But Which Is Your Favourite?
@Paulo No, obviously not. Two will be a separate release.
