Re: Talking Point: Would $499 Be Too Much For 'Switch 2'?

If too expensive people simply won't buy it. It sold loads because of its price, it meant it was definitely affordable for many as a main console, affordable for people to get as a secondary console. I don't think you can give it a PS5 price. Products like steam deck may be worth it but it's not affordable for many.

Strange Rugrats didn't get a game until 98, and then got nearly 20 in 5 or 6 years. Ren & Stimpy had a Gameboy game in 91/92 (quite a few within the next 3 or 4 years too), Real Monsters a 16 bit game in 95. I don't think I played any of them though. The PS Rugrats games generally got bad reviews.

Will be looking forward to this though. I think it would have been better being 16 bit though.

I dont mind micro transactions or dlc to an extent but I don't expect a game to be reliant on it. If you are paying £90 for a deluxe version that should be it all. I'd be worried that £40 I'd just have half a game. Maybe if this goes on sale I'll get it.
