MK on the GBA is a fabulous game, sane with the F-Zero games. All hold up well because they are essentially sequels to SNES games which haves magnificently.
If too expensive people simply won't buy it. It sold loads because of its price, it meant it was definitely affordable for many as a main console, affordable for people to get as a secondary console. I don't think you can give it a PS5 price. Products like steam deck may be worth it but it's not affordable for many.
@Ravenmaster If that was 90% of their profits they wouldn't have stopped selling used games. @gamering they could be useful for trading in games. It's just easier than selling in eBay.
Mario Tennis on Switch is okay but I feel it's no better than the N64 version. I played the demo of strikers and it seemed okay but didn't make me want to buy. Mario Bros Wii is okay but not great. Sparks of Hope is just pants
I'd like to see Mario Land as part of subscription, not played in ages.
I wonder what the release day title(s) will be. Switch had Zelda, Wii U had Mario's Bros u, Wii had Zelda, GameCube Luigi's Mansion and N64 Mario 64. Surely it's either Mario Kart 9 or a sequel to Odyssey. I'd imagine both coming out within the first year.
They need to get the music right but I think in the modern day Crazy Taxi can't be a high end game unless you give more complex targets, which could ruin the game and far more maps to drive around.
Played the demo and really enjoyed it. I will be getting it. Just going to finish what I'm currently playing first. The game is available for about 30 quid so it is inexpensive.
the N64 version of MKM didn't have cut scenes, it just used pictures with some descriptions so that can't save the attricity of a game. MKT was also better than 1, 2 and 3.
someone bought this for my birthday. I think it's pretty good, if you enjoyed MK11 on Switch then you will enjoy this. Load times on fights is a pain though.
@PJOReilly Cool. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if patches come tomorrow or forthcoming days when the basic version is released.
On a side note, MK11 (which I really enjoyed and thought was great) continually got patches and became a far better game. Just hope this gets the same support.
@9-Volt People need to know, but I do agree it would be good if games could have a mini re-review about patches if made. I expect much of what is in negatives to be patched.
A member of my family has got me this for my birthday, so I'll have fun with it.
@SBandy1 but you can earn the coins in the game, in MK11 I bought loads just with earned coins so not difficult to earn. If it was MTX that stop you from playing huge parts of the game where MTX is required or the game is bland and you don't earn that much in house currency in the game then I'd understand your view.
I bought Bomberman R on day 1 in 2017, I thought yeah I love Bomberman. I then realised none of my friends had it not wanted to play it The single player was fun, but you know probably not worth paying full whack for if that's all you will end up playing.
Strange Rugrats didn't get a game until 98, and then got nearly 20 in 5 or 6 years. Ren & Stimpy had a Gameboy game in 91/92 (quite a few within the next 3 or 4 years too), Real Monsters a 16 bit game in 95. I don't think I played any of them though. The PS Rugrats games generally got bad reviews.
Will be looking forward to this though. I think it would have been better being 16 bit though.
@Serpenterror pretty much every character has been rewritten so I can understand it, and after so many games it must be difficult coming up with good ones although 11 had some good new ones. @NinjaNicky yeah I agree with that, especially someone like Shang Tsung.
played the beta version, it's decent. Far better than FIFA 19-23 versions. Will play more but just glad I got the code to decide if I want to buy. may just get it for my birthday in a couple of months.
People at school didn't have them so it was not important to have one. Had an Atari ST instead which had much cheaper games. Have played NES games since though using Evercade and NSO.
Got it, good fun. You have to unlock the legends such as Cody, Aubrey, Owen, Big Show and Brodie Lee. It's a good system as unlocking things in games seems to be a lost art.
I've pre-ordered, it looks like fun and that's what I want. I can play as Sting, The Hardy's, Christian (will make Edge), Big Show and Owen. Got some cracking 90s matches there. hopefully Jeff Jarrett comes out soon and maybe a Forbidden Door pack.
@OFFICIALMichi no idea what you are on about. I thought mk11 ran brilliantly and looked fantastic. Maybe it didn't look as nice as the PS4 version but who expected it to?
I dont mind micro transactions or dlc to an extent but I don't expect a game to be reliant on it. If you are paying £90 for a deluxe version that should be it all. I'd be worried that £40 I'd just have half a game. Maybe if this goes on sale I'll get it.
@N00BiSH I think it's alright, well the switch version is, a bit too hard though maybe. Id suggest to everyone that you watch it as a horror b movie on YouTube.
I'll buy it if on sale for a pound or 2. The NES game is supposed to be awful but the Game boy version is supposed to be okay. Shame it doesn't have the Lynx game which is supposed to be the best version or the home computer version which was actually based on the film.

it's a fairly cheap game and probably climbed to 3 based on pre orders. I imagine it will fall out of the top 20 next week.

@marvelis yeah but if you have under 27gb storage left you can't update and you have to remove and redownload.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Gets A New Update On Switch, Visual Improvements & More
@Zach777 They did that with MK11 too. It was often easier to remove the game and redownload with the patch.

Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Gets A Day-One Update On Switch
@B_BIackNinja_N I'll get the normal vesion when I see it for £40, you can already get it for £48, so I don't think that will be long.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Gets A Day-One Update On Switch
Checked SwitchUp's video, game looks quality. Will likely get it now.
