Re: Pokémon's Former Chief Legal Officer "Surprised" Palworld Got This Far

I admit, I’m surprised this got so popular as well. This isn’t the first Pokemon inspired/ripoff game to come out. I guess it just hit the right notes to go viral?

Regardless, I wonder how long it will last in the spotlight. I guess some are enjoying it and hey, glad they’re having fun, but it’s definitely not my cup of tea or what I want out of Pokemon.

Re: Poll: How Often Do You Trade-In Your Switch Games?

Waluigi451

Literally never lol. I still have all my old Game Boy, DS, GameCube, and Wii games too.

I just don’t think the payoff for selling any of it is worth it. Any of the valuable ones I own I want to keep and the rest wouldn’t be worth the trouble of trading in lol

Re: Players Need To Start "Feeling Comfortable" With Not Owning Games, Says Ubisoft Subs Boss

@Solomon_Rambling I agree. Best case scenario is to have both. We kind of already do with stuff like Gamepass or PS+. Even Nintendo Switch Online lets people access certain dlc or buy it to own if they wish.

I think a lot of us here like owning stuff, but there are plenty of gamers who are content with only playing a game for a week and moving on. I mean back in the day, renting games was really popular. So I think having both options, streaming and buying to own, is the best. That’s how it is with movies and music right now anyway.

I think people are misinterpreting what he’s saying. I also don’t think what he’s saying is something new. We already have Gamepass, PS+ and Nintendo Switch Online. Those are all services where we don’t own the games. It’s no different than video streaming or music streaming. Now, is that the future of gaming? Who knows. It’ll probably be like movies and music where both coexist. That’s my guess.

Re: Poll: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Free Epilogue Lands On Switch Today, Will You Be Playing It?

Waluigi451

Just finished the epilogue. It was a nice little event. Fun to see the DLC characters interact with the friends from the main game.

Overall, pretty short. Just a few battles and then a fight with the mythical. But still, I enjoyed it as a wrap-up to the DLC.

And for anyone wondering, once you complete the epilogue, Arven, Penny, and Nemona are available as coaches you can call to the blueberry club room.
