Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Neva

My only main issue is how small the characters are. Putting my face right on the Switch screen just to see what is going on.

Combat from a far angle view really annoyed me. That's really it. Just fix that or have cam options.

@N00BiSH If Nintendo wants to milk us little by little with every new game with small changes, how can they bring in new fans that don't need to worry about older entries? If "fresh" just means putting it in the washer and dryer over and over, it won't feel fresh over time. BOTW was the reason why I started playing Zelda again. It was the shake up it needed. TOTK was my GOTY. Do I want another Zelda like that again? Honestly no.

If Splatoon doesn't want to change that's fine. I'll probably wait for the shake up when I'm 35 or 45 years old. I just can't hope and agree with the Nintendo overlords all the time. I understand what your saying. I just lost a lot of interest in Splatoon since Splatoon 3's launch. 3 just didn't feel right for me and I felt used because they knew I would buy it. I feared Splatoon 2 was going to be shut down with Splatoon 1. My opinon might not matter but I can't be the only one that feels like this.

@N00BiSH Totally but I trust the developers to take on that challenge and not be afraid. Plus everyone is getting older, even the devs. One of the main reasons I didn't play 3 very much was how similar it all felt to previous games. Everything felt a little faster and that's about it. I just really want to get interested in the franchise again. Me and my aunt are fans and she doesn't want to play 3 because she hasn't played the last one and I'm telling her its ok not to play the last one but that's just what happens when a number is placed after a title.

@N00BiSH new plots, new mechanics, new look, nothing cohesive from prior games. Live up to one of it's slogans, "fresh". Kinda like all of Nintendo's games every iteration to keep up and gain new fans, especially the younger upcoming generation. Splatoon sequels are just updated versions of each other.
