I have kind of a soft spot for my current Switch 2, as I was able to get first in line at my local GameStop at launch night, so it's the first one they sold. Other than that, while I like branded consoles, it's rare that I'll shell out the money if I've already got one. I'm fairly stingy and can't ever justify the purchase.

I haven't really been playing the other routes yet so I don't have a lot of reference, but I chose Dietrich to begin with and I'm loving him and his group, they're all so weird and fun, and the 3H nods aren't bad either. Dietrich himself is really entertaining, he's like an Alucard-looking, more unhinged Goku, super weird. I did play a bit of Cai's story and while I like him, nothing's really gripped me yet. Hoping to get to know Theodora and Leda a bit better down the line, Theodora really seems interesting but I'm kind of indifferent about Leda currently.

Fire Emblem, of course! I had to choose between this and Sky 2, but since I haven't beat Sky 1 Remake yet, figured I'd wait until I did. Been loving it so far, started with Dietrich and swapped over to Cai after a little bit. Probably going to focus on Dietrich though.

Xenoblade 2! It's my favorite game of all time, so I definitely wanted to spend some time playing it with the upgrades. I recently beat Xenoblade 1's Switch 2 edition, and while I originally wanted to do a NG+ of 2, I can't help but want to do all the side content I haven't done beforehand (Though mostly, I want to try and get all the Blades I'm missing before I NG+). Love this game, it's insane to play it so smoothly and looking so good.

Even more Xenogears this week. Made it to Nortune, and didn't expect the game to give me a mech battler minigame. Story's shaping up to be incredible so far, and Fei just keeps getting more and more mysterious.

After a few attempts, I'm finally going through Xenogears for the first time. Been in a huge Xeno-mood all week thanks to the direct, so I figured I'd finally go through it. Just made it to Bledavik and enjoying my time with the game. Fei's been an interesting protagonist (reminds me a lot of Noah) so far and the story's shaping up to be very interesting. Also a bit of Xenoblade 1 Switch 2 edition, the Ether Jet is so fun to mess around and explore Bionis with.

Shaking it up a bit, playing some Final Fantasy VII Remake rather than Rebirth. I also started Trails from Zero earlier this week, but I've been feeling Trails burnout since I beat Cold Steel IV on Monday.

I’ve never been a big MMORPG fan, but I’ve been wanting to try this one out. Glad it’s coming to switch 2.

Getting prepped for finals, so not a whole lot this weekend. That being said, I have started my first Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest run earlier this week, and might get a few maps in, if time permits. Since I'm at the beginning, I haven't experienced a lot of difficulty ramps yet, but I'm bracing myself for them.

Man, I've been wanting to play this game forever, but I'll have to wait on it a little bit more at that price. Someday though.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection! I’m also wanting to get a little bit of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance in, but I always get really unmotivated to play it due to the drop mechanic.

Downloaded and ready to try out later! Glad there's a demo, but because I have a lot of fond memories of the first one, I'll definitely be picking this up regardless. Love how weird these games are.

Preordered it last week! Been wanting to play these games since I was a kid, so I'm super excited to play this collection. I'm about three-quarters(?) through the first one (Pegasus) on my 3DS, but I'll probably switch over to this collection (Dragon or Leo) for another playthrough.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for me! Got back into my grind of defeating every Unique Enemy in the base game, and I also hopped back into Future Redeemed for a little bit, remembered how much I enjoyed it, and am working on Affinity completion on that one as well. This is the first weekend in a while where I really don't have that much to do so I'm looking forward to taking my time with gaming.

Visually, it's the New Nintendo 2DS XL, but since I never actually owned that one, I'll vote for the New Nintendo 3DS XL. I also really like the OG design, there's something about the boxier shape that I really like.

I only own the first one, so I might pick this up after getting done replaying the Gunvolt Trilogy. I really love this series, it’s super fun.

I initially disliked it, but it's stopped bothering me the more I play. I definitely get the complaints and I don't blame anyone who does want the refund, but I don't care enough to do the same. It's a pretty minor thing, in my eyes.

I might pick up Leaf-Green at some point. I'm not in a hurry to grab them, but I really hope that this is a sign that more games will be just on the eShop instead of tied to NSO.

Immediately picked it up. I hope this means the others will be getting Switch 2 versions as well.

Getting in some Persona 5 Tactica after having not played it for over a year. Also planning on a bit more Persona 4 Golden if I have the time.

There's quite a bit that I'm looking forward to. FF7 Rebirth, Digimon Time Stranger, Tales of Arise, Granblue Fantasy, Kyoto Xanadu, The Adventures of Elliot...yeah, it was a pretty good direct for me. It may have mostly been ports, but as a major Switch player, that's what I like.

Was really excited to see this in the direct today. It's not one I've ever gotten too far in, and honestly if I had to choose between this one and Berseria Remastered I'd probably grab this one.

Been wanting to pick this up ever since it came out, guess I'll have to bite the bullet finally and pick it up when it comes out for Switch 2. Looks awesome!

Glad it came so quickly! Been loving going through Remake again, so I'll definitely be picking this up when it comes out. I've only been able to play the beginning of the game on PS5, so I'm excited to actually go through it.

It seems I'm kind of with the majority when it comes to Ultra Beasts. I love Ultra Beasts as a concept, and design-wise they're really cool for what they're going for, but in a vacuum, I don't care for a majority of the designs.

I completely lied about waiting on FFVII, picked it up last night and planning on playing it today. It’s been running super well, I’m really enjoying it. I might also start FFII today, I finally beat FFI for the first time yesterday and have been wanting to go through them all number-wise. Undecided for now, but a lot of Final Fantasy for sure.

Glad to hear. I've said this before, but I am really glad this trilogy is coming to Switch 2. The amount of time I put into an RPG on Switch compared to other platforms is significantly higher, so I feel that I can usually get more out of a game when I have the option (not necessarily that I will) to take it portable.

Super excited to run through Remake on Switch 2 sometime soon, but I probably won't pick it up for a little while, still got some other games I'm working on before I go through Remake again.

I’m almost done with KH3’s Data Fights, I have 3 left, so I want to get as many done as feasibly possible (I’m not expecting to beat Yozora for a while) this weekend. Other than that, I’ve been playing a lot of Xenoblade Chronicles X this week, so probably more of that. Just grabbed the Hresvelg Lord skell, but I’m too low level to use it, so I’ve been grinding a bunch.

Clocked in at 91 games and 483 hours last year. It was cool, if somewhat expected, to see the spike once the Switch 2 came out.

After playing the DQVII Reimagined demo earlier this week, I've been in a pretty big Dragon Quest mood. I beat my replay of DQV the other day, so I'm debating whether to start up my replay of DQVI or actually go through DQIV for the first time. Gonna patch the DS version with the party chat feature for the best experience, whenever I get around to it. So, one of those this weekend.

Finally done with finals, so I’m free to play some more Tales of Xillia Remastered, along with some Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles X this weekend before I go back to visit my parents for the holiday break.
Been working on getting all the unique monsters and weapon upgrades done in XC3 now that I’ve finished all the Ascension Quests, and I’m working on filling out my FrontierNav in XCX when I get the chance.

Still don't have this game, picking it up for Christmas though. With the Mega Stones that have already passed, are they unobtainable? Like, am I locked out of Mega Greninja and Mega Delphox? Anyone know?

Prepping for finals, so not a whole lot gaming, but I plan to finish up the last Ascension Quest I haven't done yet in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 during one of my breaks. Got a cold, so it'll be nice to take some time to relax while I'm in the middle of crunching for finals.

Geez, that's a long game. I'd really like to pick this up someday, but I still need to finish OT2, so it'll be a while. I've been burnt out on the Octopath style for a little bit, so this one will be down the line. It's not the HD2D style I dislike, I think it looks great, but there's just something about the UI and the blur that gives me a headache when I play.
Glad to hear it's packed with side-content, sounds like it'll keep people fed for a while.

That's a huge size, but luckily I don't have a massive library, and with a 512GB memory card along with the switch 2's memory, I have enough space for Remake once I delete a few games. Since I do that anyways after I beat a game (barring the exceptions like Zelda and Xenoblade), it won't be a problem once I finally get around to playing Remake.
I'm weirdly excited to play Remake on Switch 2, because while I have played it on PS4/5, there's just something about being able to play it on the go that rocks.
In any case, at least it's not a Cloud (heh) Version, still salty about Kingdom Hearts being a cloud game.

Randomly, Final Fantasy X. Picked it up again on a whim yesterday and have been playing it ever since. The music and the story's been spectacular so far, excited to get farther in it.

Really hoping they fix Nier soon, I really want to get back to playing it.

Great to hear. At the risk of sounding like a "causal", P5's probably my favorite out of the series (But I've only played 3-5, so maybe 1 and 2 are even better, who knows), so I do feel like it's deserved. Super great game.

Lots of Tales of Xillia Remastered this weekend. I love this game, so it's been a blast to go through it again.

Planning on picking up Tales of Xillia Remastered this weekend. Been waiting for this since it was announced (and even back when it was leaked a year ago), so I'm super excited. Love this game and its sequel so much.

Tales of Graces f Remastered, trying to finish it up before Xillia drops next week. I think I'm getting pretty close, so hopefully I can finish it this weekend. Other than that, I might play a bit of Metaphor, I've barely touched it since it came out and have been wanting to go through it eventually. That one's definitely a maybe though, between Graces and homework I probably won't have the time for Metaphor.

Fine with me. Waited this long to play Elden Ring, and I'd rather my experience be polished on Switch 2. I have tons of other games to work on in the meantime anyways.

Great news. In some ways I prefer 2 to 1, so I was hoping we'd get it as well. I really love the Xillia games, they're probably my favorites out of the Tales series.

Thanks for the review. I already picked this game up on PS5 last year, so I probably won't be picking this up anytime soon, but it's good to know it runs fairly well. Might pick it up down the line if I want to run through it again though, I definitely prefer playing these kind of games on a handheld.

Focusing on Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter and Tales of Graces f Remastered this weekend. Wanting to beat Graces before the Xillia remaster comes out at the end of the month, so I’ve been playing that whenever I’ve had the chance this week.
No Pokémon ZA for me yet, though I do eventually want to pick it up. Wanting to work on some of the games on my backlog before I pick it up.

I picked this up last month, but have barely had time to get through it, what with Trails in the Sky and Final Fantasy Tactics.

Glad to hear they fixed the online thing. Before I maxed all my jobs out I'd rely on Abilink for builds, and entering sleepmode would require me to reenter the game so I could use those builds again. I've already done everything since launch, but I am glad they've fixed that.
