Both versions seem fine, although I think I like Sony's better. I don't mind censorship when it's about protecting marginalised communities from hatred and bigotry but that isn't what this is. The censorship in this game seems a bit unnecessary, but it does keep the game in line with Sony's policies which is fair enough in my opinion. I just wish this comment section wasn't so toxic 😔
Humble Bundle has been getting more and more greedy for years now. It was only a matter of time before it got worse again. I won't be purchasing from them again unless they start changing their ways. This just isn't what they were supposed to be.
This is really awesome! I didn't even know the game had DLC so I'll definitely be picking up all of that extra content now. I really loved this game and the original Crypt of the NecroDancer.
I think it would be amazing to just have a bunch of color/pattern variants of each Pokémon that all have an equal chance of being found in the wild. But that's just me. And I'm sure it'd be a lot of work considering how many Pokémon there are now.
I would prefer if they had two teams - one that develops games that the fans actually want, and one that creates new experiences that everyone might love. I can dream.
Nah this is just absolute nonsense. He's really lost it if he thought any of that was a good idea. It's just ridiculous. The Paper Mario games had amazing combat, story and unique characters. This just feels really lame in comparison. It's much, much better than Sticker Star and Color Splash but it's still nowhere near the depth and fun of the first 3 Paper Mario games. It's a real shame. He just doesn't understand Paper Mario at all.
I don't think I have ever been so disappointed by a game announcement. This just looks TERRIBLE and it feels like they completely ignored what players wanted. I didn't expect much anyways but wow...
If we can just blend the open world, exploration and all that good stuff from Breath of the Wild with the temples and story from the other games then we'll have a truly amazing game.
It was an alright game but not very standout for me personally. I guess I was just expecting a lot more for some reason. It was still pretty enjoyable though.
I suppose the Wii was cracked wide open a long time ago so there isn't really anything super revelatory about this leak. But hopefully it can be used to perfect some of the already great emulators on the Wii. I still love the Wii - It was a really amazing console. I can still hear the sound of the Wii Shop Channel music playing in my head sometimes, lol
What I like about Animal Crossing is that we can all have our own ways of playing and having fun. Whether it's firing through the game at lightning speed or just chillaxing on the beach to some tunes. Everybody can enjoy it their own way and that's really awesome. ☺️ I time travelled at the start to get some of the buildings quicker and haven't time travelled since. I just enjoy the slow life now. A little bit of fishing and trying to decorate my house in new, interesting ways.
I suppose they do have a point. I've quipped about this more than once around family. But I really think they might be taking it a little bit too seriously if they aren't just using satire. I imagine most people know that it's horrible and wrong to go around deforesting and devastating nature. The Nook Miles program in particular doesn't just promote deforestation - it also promotes growing new trees and flowers, etc.
It's really on you if you decide to go digging holes and cutting down trees, deforesting entire islands instead of using a stone axe that doesn't cut the tree down but still gives you wood. Catching bugs and fish is also completely optional.
A durability meter is preferable to visual cracks but I'd rather have both to be honest. I also just carry around a workbench with me for when I need to craft more tools.
It just felt to me like they removed a LOT of the content that I really enjoyed. But it still has some pretty fun features to mess around with. I wish we had more room for custom designs too.
I just time travelled to get the museum open quicker to be honest. I'm really going to miss things like swimming in the ocean, collecting all the fruits that this game is missing, and taking a ride with Kapp'n while he sings me a song.
@Razer They'll be at home watching their bank accounts soar higher and ignoring the backlash. They know they have their employees by the ba**s since everyone is so desperate for work so they aren't scared of anything. I agree. They really need to die out.
I work in home bargains and it's considered essential I guess because we definitely aren't showing any signs of closing. We get so much foot traffic that it's almost guaranteed to hit the staff eventually. If you want to self-isolate to protect yourself, your family or the public then you have to take it in holidays (if you have any lol) or just quit your job and stay home without pay for god knows how long.
Edit: They'll let you take sick leave for about two weeks if you get sick with Coronavirus or you think you've been in contact with someone that had it but that's it.
If I hadn't bought a switch at launch, this is the one I would get. It's really beautiful. I just can't afford to buy this one though. Ah well, maybe next time I'll just wait a few years before I buy the newest console.
I hope that all employees manage to make it through this pandemic. Hopefully they can afford the medical expenses too. It makes me glad to be living in a country where there's free health care.
@wazlon Gyp Past tense: Jipped Cheat or swindle (someone)
In this case it means that the N64 version of that game was jipped or "gyped" because they didn't put as much effort into it as the other versions. (I'm assuming anyways)
If they actually did more with it then yeah it would be better value. But as it stands it's just SO basic. It has so much potential but it feels like they're just not committed to improving it.
Don't get me wrong - it's a nice and affordable service. It just needs a lot of work and improvement in my opinion.
Link's Awakening on the Switch has such a nice art style. I'd love to see more games use that style. Especially a remake of Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. But as for Breath of the Wild 2 I'd prefer it to use the original style 😋
I miss Paper Mario 64 so much I want them to bring the games back to the way they used to be. They way they were supposed to be. Sticker Star and every paper mario game after it was just disappointing.

Re: Feature: Best Eggs In Games
I used to be an egg once, until I hatched and out came a happy little trans girl. The end. lol
But seriously, I love this list
Makes me want to play some of these classics again like Banjo-Kazooie and Link's Awakening.

Re: Can You Name These Nintendo Console Games From Their Box Art?
12 out of 15. I'm happy with that. The only ones I didn't get were the games I had never played/heard of so it's all good 😹
Re: Nintendo Registers New 'Mario Sports' Trademark
Please be Mario Strikers Charged Football for Switch. I loved that game and I'm not even a football/soccer fan or even a sports fan in general.

Re: You Can Now Enjoy Raid Battles Using Your Pokémon Trading Cards
This actually sounds pretty cool. I don't really like PVP so this is a nice alternative. I might give it a chance some time.
Re: Feature: How Do Switch eShop Discounts Impact Game Sales?
Anything less than 20% off probably won't draw me in.
Re: The First Review For Paper Mario: The Origami King Is Now In

Re: Game Originally Planned For Wii U, Then Switch, Winds Up As A PS5 Timed-Exclusive
I backed this years ago with the hope of getting it on PC or a Nintendo console and now they tell me this. Wow. Just wow.
Edit: At least they're working to release it on PC at the same time. Hopefully they follow through with that at least.

I love the new Splatoon artwork though!
