It was alright. Not the best game, not the worst. It just seemed like it could have had more features. It was pretty fun for a while though. I think Breath of the Wild is my game of the decade.
I never grew a personal appreciation for Dark Souls. But I can see the influence it has had on the industry and I'm glad to see the positive impact it has had on video games.
Cadence of Hyrule was one of those games that just felt awesome to play. The art style helped it fit right in with other Zelda games and I'd love to see Nintendo allow more projects like this in the future.
Oak's words echoed: "There's a time and a place for everything, but not now." Can't we just enjoy the article? Stick to Twitter or something if you want to have philosophical and social debates and discussions.
By far my favourite team to take with me on my adventures consists of my 5 Magikarp and General Gyarados. Most of them are from various events around the world that I got through wonder trades and such so they have a bunch of cool moves too. 😂
It sounds like it has a nice story and some interesting characters but I can't get past some of those animations 😅 Point and click too..it was good in Professor Layton but I don't usually like it.
I have no idea what they're saying or what's going on throughout but I like the energy and enthusiasm, lol It seems like a lot of fun. And I would definitely love to be able to buy all that merch.
I just hate that so many companies are creating subscription services for their games. Then as soon as you stop subscribing you have nothing left. Meanwhile the price of actually owning the games seems to just keep going up, forcing people to subscribe. Then the games are full of microtransactions and pay-to-win gimmicks, hell-bent on sucking every last penny from your piggy bank.
I don't mind people cheating. In fact I enjoy cheating too on occasion. As long as it has no impact on other players I feel that it's alright. I wouldn't use it to gain a competitive advantage for example.
Ditch Epic, patch out some bugs and improve the performance. That'll sell me on the Switch version. The game froze and eventually crashed for me in the opening cutscene. It was so bad that I couldn't even get it to close with task manager. I just had to wait for it to close itself. Then once I restarted it and got through that it proceeded to freeze and stutter roughly every 30 seconds. But to be fair once I iocked the frame rate to 60fps it started running just fine. It has a really great story and rewarding progression. I'm loving it so far even though I'm only a few hours in. I'm running a stealthy, charismatic engineer right now (lol). I only got the game because j forgot to cancel my Xbox gamepass subscription too (for pc) 😂
Yeah I suppose I'm pretty excited regardless of all the reasons people (including myself) have raged at these games recently. I'll be getting Shield 😄
I had a few drops in framerate while playing the game but they weren't that noticeable. I didn't feel like they detracted from the gameplay at all. Either way though a patch that can smooth out all those hiccups is certainly appealing and I would definitely welcome it.
I'm not that interested in the game honestly but the soundtrack does sound like it's gonna be good if it's composed by Toby Fox. Might just get the soundtrack if possible.
I guess RPG Maker is as close as we'll get to a Zelda Maker for now. But I'd really love a 2D Zelda Maker. You could place screens down and fill them with sprites, create events, there would be a character creator and you could edit what they say and do. Sound effects, amiibo support, and (although I wouldn't like it) there would be plenty of potential for DLC to add new sprites, sounds, etc.
I think it'd be cool to see a remake of Phantom Hourglass. But definitely I'd love to see the Oracle games get remade first/next. I still have the original copies of both. Such amazing games
I would put "lack of a Stamina system, so you can play as long as you want" under the game's pros honestly. It's really refreshing to be able to just play a game and have fun whenever you feel like it.
I'm not actually all that interested in this game but it looks like it might be fun for a while anyways. I might try it out eventually.
Hey look at that another event I won't be able to attend. It is what it is, it was what it was and it will be what it will be. Time for me to go play some Banjo-Kazooie and forget about this 😅
I would say the Gameboy Advance SP is probably one of the best consoles Nintendo ever made though. The hinge is still perfect on mine, the screen looks amazing indoors and outdoors and it could play GB/GBC/GBA games perfectly. The buttons and d-pad work like a charm and the battery could be recharged and lasted for long periods of time. Mine still lasts through most of the day. Oh yeah and it fits into just about any pocket/purse/pack for me which is great.
On all DS/DSi/3DS/N3DS, etc. consoles I've had problems with the hinges getting loose after a while and the top screen sort of flopping about while playing. (I don't fling them open or slam them shut)
My Wii stopped reading discs at one point and I had to buy a kit to clean the laser which was a new experience for sure, lol
The charging port on my 3DS XL stopped working which is why I got a New 2DS XL but then the charging port started working again (kind of, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't).
Other than those problems though I've never experienced any others like Joy-Con drift or bad d-pads on the Pro Controllers.
In fact as a kid I spilled a cup of orange juice into my gamecube and knocked it off the shelf and it still works to this day, lol

Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Is Getting An Expansion Pass, And It Looks Mighty
Naturally Pokémon Sword gets the cooler content 😒 But they both look pretty fun. I'll be looking forward to playing through the Isle of Armor. Omg Galarian Slowpoke though 😻 I'm so excited to have Slowpoke back!

Re: These Super-Creepy Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Are Available To Buy Right Now
Hey they're pretty cool 😹 I love spooky stuff. The orange one looks great. But when it comes to controllers I usually don't like going third-party.
Re: Hang On, Competitive Pokémon Fans Are Liking Sword And Shield's National Dex Cut
I would still have preferred to be able to catch 'em all in these games. But I still managed to have a lot of fun with them regardless.

Re: New Gen 4 Pokémon Leak Supposedly Shows Lots Of Scrapped Gender Differences
I can't even come to NintendoLife anymore without seeing comment sections derail into this kind of nonsense. I think these differences are pretty cool and cute. It's Pokémon. It's fantasy. They're Pocket Monsters.

Re: The First Limited-Time Gigantamax Event In Pokémon Sword And Shield Is Now Live
I went through the entire story and post-story wondering why everyone could gigantamax their Pokémon except me. I was even waiting for it to be a reward at the end of the game or something. Nope. You just have to catch them in gigantamax form in raid battles. Welp. There goes my entire team and the ones I trained and kept in my PC. Maybe I'll just start fresh 😂

I want Battle For Naboo on the Switch.
Re: Feature: How Significant Is Britain's Influence On Pokémon Sword And Shield?
I was upset about them excluding some Pokémon from the game but I have to admit the game still looks pretty fun and I'm looking forward to playing it. At least the game won't include any Brexit references (hopefully anyways). I'm so sick of all that nonsense.

It'd be really cool to have sprites and sounds, etc. from other games. You could be playing Zelda, but you're actually Luigi and you're listening to music from the Pokémon games or something. 🤣
Level sharing, some form of co-op maybe? The potential is endless...maybe I'm verging on just a Nintendo Remix Maker here though, lol
Re: Feature: A Look To The Past - All The Legend Of Zelda Remasters And Remakes

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo DS Games
This list comes just as I've lost my pouch containing all of my DS/3DS games 😔 Hopefully they resurface soon. Otherwise I might have to just start my collection all over again. The only ones I have left are Pokémon Ranger, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon Ultra Moon.
