It does seem to take some major inspiration from Kirby, Mario, etc. But it still looks like a pretty fun and cute game so I'll probably give it a try.

I've never experienced drifting on my launch day Switch. I also never experienced any problems with the d-pad on the switch pro controller though. I must be really lucky 😂 The only problem I have is the blue joycon coming off the console really easily.

I usually give these levels a try but to be honest I never enjoy them. I just prefer levels with more of a puzzle focus. Personally I'm trying to make some adventure/puzzle courses that really make you think but give you plenty of time to clear them 😹

They're probably all better than anything I could come up with but it's still fun trying to make cool levels, lol

I just wish everything was accessible in every theme. Like the way so many items/blocks/etc. are missing from the 3D world theme for example.

This is really cool 😄 It reminds me of the stuff I used to love doing as a kid. I remember making a football stadium with a race track outside in halo reach 😂 It was like Rocket League but of course that was before Rocket League even existed. I remember making a few zelda-esque minigames in WarioWare DIY and I even made a text/image, web, turn-based RPG for my friend's birthday from scratch 😹 I used to have a ton of fun in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts too just making random contraptions. Good times. I hardly do anything like that anymore. 😔

The irony and hypocrisy in some of these comments is highly disturbing. I'm going to have to add a few more people to my ignore list unfortunately. In relation to these screens though and on-topic I'd like to say that the show seems like it has a lot of potential to be amazing. These look really cool and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the show when it starts. ^o^ I don't think the Witcher series is very...concerned...with social politics and whatnot. And I'm ok with that. It still has some great characters and amazing stories. If there's ever something I disagree with or don't like it just gives me reason to be grateful that the real world that we live in is becoming more accepting and understanding all the time

I can get behind having Soul Silver and Heart Gold at the top of the list. But that might just be nostalgia talking for the original games. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire would probably be the next best :3

I still think Banjo and Kazooie's final smash should be Banjo-Pilot related LOL

On-topic: I'm pretty sure I do recall seeing a comment from him that he'd be open to having Banjo in smash or something like that anyways. I mean it just makes sense and feels right. Why not? lol

Ah, this reminds me of the good ol' days of the Wii U. Back in those days we had things like Virtual Console games and backwards compatibility. You won't see that on a Nintendo Switch console now days, lol

Jokes aside though, I was just taking a break from my Switch recently to replay Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD on my Wii U. Great games.

In just my own opinion Nintendo was literally one of only two companies that had ANYTHING good to show at this year's E3 conference. I loved most of their presentation. Bethesda is the other company. I'm pretty excited to see some of their upcoming games and content releases. But Banjo-Kazooie in Smash and a sequel to Breath of the Wild just blew me away. Hopefully this confirmation that Nintendo is still committed to maintaining a presence at E3 is a slight hint towards some hardware reveals next year.

I just want some more water content. Underwater caves, shrines and temples, swimming improvements, diving, fishing rods, etc. And proper boats too.

I wish it was real. I'm about 90% positive it's not going to happen but we can all dream I suppose. I should play through the originals again at some point.

It's honestly not all that surprising. I think Smash has had a heck of a time up there in the VIP spot, lol Maybe it's time someone else got to try it out. Rage 2 is a pretty awesome game. Who knows though. It could be back in the top spot again next time.

I really just want a re-release of all the past Banjo-Kazooie games on the Switch (INCLUDING Nuts and Bolts and Banjo-Pilot). It would be really cool to see Nuts and Bolts remade though to be able to use more parts to make vehicles and maybe to have some new parts added in. Being able to play Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on the Switch would be truly amazing though.

The chamber dungeon makes me wish we had a Zelda Maker (like Mario Maker but for Zelda)

This Direct was absolutely amazing! I loved it all the way through. The only things I was hopeful for but didn't see were:

• A Super Mario Sunshine remake for the Switch (I want this so badly)
• A Fallout 3/New Vegas remake for the Switch (WITH MODS)
• Banjo-Kazooie, Tooie, and Nuts & Bolts getting ported to the Switch
• Don't Starve Together getting ported to the Switch (WITH MODS)

Things I was especially excited to see:

• Luigi's Mansion 3 (Luigi's Mansion <3)
• Animal Crossing New Horizons (Even though it was delayed D; )
• Link's Awakening (Great to see some more news on this)
• Resident Evil 5 getting brought to Switch
• Witcher 3 getting brought to Switch (Honestly didn't think it'd happen)
• BANJO-KAZOOIE IN SMASH
• BOTW SEQUEL!!!

Also though...A Dark Crystal game?? lolwut

EDIT:
When I saw the Banjo-Kazooie in Smash announcement I originally got super excited because I thought it was going to be a new Donkey Kong 64-esque game. Then I saw the jiggy and though OMG some sort of Donkey Kong x Banjo-Kazooie cross-over game. Then I saw the smash announcement and I was a bit bummed before realizing how awesome it is later on.

I love the wild area, being able to see Pokémon roaming in the wild, raid battles and captures, dynamaxing is super cute and I'm glad we're going back to traditional gym battles. Alola was great but ultra sun/moon kind of burned me out. This looks super refreshing. I'm going to miss the co-op from Let's go Pikachu and Eevee if it isn't present here though. I'll also miss having Pokémon follow you around outside of their Pokéballs.

Also Gossifleuurrrr <3 I want one so badly 😸

The only thing is that (just from looking at the pictures in the article) I'm not quite sure Pikachu's tail would look that way. I mean it can practucally be used as a spring and that looks a little rigid. But maybe I'm looking at it wrong 😅 I don't know much about anatomy honestly. Other than that these are all super awesome and show a lot of talent! 😄 I wish I could draw stuff like this.

climbs out from under my rock Resident Evil 4 is out on Switch? 🤣 That's news to me. I'm actually looking forward to getting it. I love Resident Evil 4. The Wii edition was definitely my favourite too but I have my doubts that motion controls would be as good on switch. I might get it if the price hits about 19.99 😋

I'd love to see an amiibo of Jesse, James and Meowth. Also the happy mask salesman from Majora's Mask. Actually there are a whole bunch of amiibo I'd love to see spawn from Majora's Mask.

@DartBuzzer Hey man, you're entitled to your opinion 💁 All I'm saying is that I'm not interested in the current state of VR but I'll gladly watch and see if it advances to a stage that interests me in the future. 🤷 I feel like you're leading this down the rabbit hole though so I'm gonna split here. 😋

@DartBuzzer Nah I've tried it before, multiple games, multiple different VR sets and on multiple occasions and it has just never gotten me interested enough to really want to invest my time or money in it. It's not where I want it to be right now. But if we get to the point where we have full-dive technology and games like I mentioned in my previous post then I'll 100% be interested. It's just not good enough yet is all.

Until we have a full-dive VR system with an open-world sandbox Pokémon game I'm not interested.

I'd love to see Tomodachi Life meets Miiverse to be honest. I can just imagine an app like that, on mobile and switch.

I'm still hoping for a June release date for Animal Crossing to be honest. 😂 That'd keep me happy all the way to the end of the year I reckon. Hopefully by that time we get some news or a release for the new Pokémon game.

I almost never could defeat a raid boss anyways. Not enough players here. At least not enough that take part in raids anyways. Managed to solo a low CP one before but I guess this is the end of it for me.

I just couldn't afford to get the games new and boxed as a kid and neither could my mom so they were all from bargain bins and garage sales, etc. (Hence none of my cartridges have any packaging)

These actually seem like a really great way to sort the collection. At the moment I just play a game of bingo, pulling out each one randomly until I find the one I want to play, lol
