Not at all. It's just as difficult as a souls-like needs to be. Some of the bosses have taken me up to 15-20 tries to complete, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

This was my favorite announcement by far. I love the first game so much and I never expected a sequel! Shame that it's still a year away though

Nahhh Torna is the better DLC. I love Future Redeemed but Torna is much more focused and tells an amazing story, plus great refinements to the core gameplay.

I definitely agree with XC3 being the best game overall though

@JS_Comics I dunno if you've ever tried your hand at PC emulation before. But sometimes trying to emulate games from the N64, Gamecube, etc. can be much more taxing than it should seem. Especially since your personal computer is most likely more powerful than an N64.

But it has to do with not only rendering the game but also doing a ton of backend calculations to ensure it's properly emulating the original PS2 software/ hardware. So it's emulating both the game and the original console hardware if that makes sense.

But I do think that Konami definitely could have gotten this running at 60fps easily if it wasn't emulated. If they'd gone for a straight-up port instead, I'm sure a locked 1080p 60fps is achievable.

Not to sound cliché, but this world sucks!

It's one of my favorite platformers of all time. But this release is a 6/10 for me. The frame drops and stuttering, especially in later levels, is unacceptable.

DLSS looks really good if you have it on quality mode. But hopefully this doesn't mean they'll get lazy when it comes to optimizing their games.

It's insane how it sold 10 million copies just this year alone, especially considering it's been on the Switch since 2017.

The game just keeps on giving. Really happy to see that he has basically unlimited funding to go into Haunted Chocolatier.

The only reason why I'm thinking of grabbing this is for the extra 3DS levels. It's nice to have a definitive version of the game finally.

I mean... it took me like 5 minutes to get used to it. Sure, it's different, but it's definitely nothing game-breaking.

I'm having a ton of fun with the game, it might just be my favorite Mario + Luigi game!

Wow. One of my favorite platformers of all time, but $60 is wayyy too much. Especially considering something like Prime Remastered which was $40, and had much more effort put into it. This game should be $30, $40 at most.

I'm glad DF didn't make a huge deal about the 30fps debacle. The whole thing seems blown out of proportion to me. As long as it's a locked framerate with nearly-perfect frame time, that's good enough for me.

30fps has never really bothered me. 60 is obviously ideal, though, and having a PC, I tend to play a lot of games at 120fps or more. But for a slower-paced RPG, it's not a huge deal.

You know, I'm still not quite over the fact that this remake is real, and even more, that it'll be here in a month. It just feels like such a non-Nintendo thing to do. As much as I love their games, they're not known for listening to their fans. But this just feels like them saying "We hear you, so here's a highly requested remake of a beloved classic." That, or, "Please stop whining, here's your stupid Paper Mario game, now leave us alone."

I think I have to go with BOTW. That game made a massive impact on me, hardly like any other. TOTK is amazing as well, but definitely wasn't as impactful.

Super Metroid is typically a yearly replay for me, and every time I start it up, I'm blown away by its atmosphere.

Yeah, pretty similar to how I feel so far. I'm having a ton of fun, but I just wish there was a bit more variety. Octo Expansion and 3's main story were so good at offering several unique objectives, so it's a little odd for them to take a step back and have a lot of repeating objectives.

Still having a great time, though. Love the variety of weapons and palletes to choose from. I can definitely see myself replaying this once I beat it.

Man, the balance patches have been pretty lame lately. It's like they're too afraid of making real substantial changes to the game, and prefer to just tweak little things here and there.

Tropical Freeze is easily my favorite. I do like the SNES games quite a lot, but both DKCR and TF are two of my favorite platformers of all time

Both of the new stages look awesome! I took a bit of a break from this game, but I'm looking forward to getting back into it with this season

Having SoJ so low on the list is a travesty. That game is awesome and easily one of my favorites in the series.

I really disliked VS, though. That one is personally a lot lower on my list.

Awesome! Mahi-Mahi was a pretty great rework so I'm looking forward to seeing how they improve this one.

Credit where it's due, E3 has held some of the most iconic gaming announcements and showcases of all time. I can't say I'm sad to see it go since the last few were terrible. But at one point in time, it was a very important event and I think it should be remembered for that, instead of for the poor final years of its life.

Nice... although I hated Sonic 2. Hopefully, this one's a bit better.

It's unfortunately the trend of the industry. I'll personally be buying physical games until they simply aren't available anymore.

Good to see they're continuing support of this. I admittedly haven't played it since it's launch but it's still a pretty solid game.

@Lizuka It was a nice surprise to find out it was rated T. I always felt like Dual Destinies' M rating was completely unwarranted and probably dissuaded younger people from playing it. DD is probably the darkest entry in the series, and there are a couple of borderline moments like the one you mentioned, but still I think as a whole the trilogy deserves the T rating
