I appreciate it. I glanced through the leaks myself but I definitely don’t want speculation articles or videos as that would certainly lead to some pretty major spoilers. The leaks themselves don’t seem to be too major, but I think theorists could gain a ton of information from them. So I’m glad that most outlets and channels are being cautious and aren’t subjecting others to potential spoilers.

Amazing. This is why Nintendo absolutely needs to put these accessibility features in all of their games. I really hope this bodes well for their future works.

Dread certainly has my favorite box art suit. But I think overall Prime 1 has my favorite suit with the Phazon suit. That thing is just so cool.

Easily Funky Kong. You cannot add a character with that much swagger and keep him trapped on the Wii and Tour. He needs a comeback

Yep, one of the easiest 10/10s out there. Combine one of the GOATS with an amazing visual remake and you’re left with simply one of, if not the best games on the Switch.

All I need is Funky Kong and I’m set

Diddy kong, Petey, and Paratroopa would be nice, too

@stevep It’s an extremely high-quality remaster. $40 for one of the best games of all time, and a relatively longer one at that, seems more than fair to me

Makes sense why they’ve been hiring so much, and also speaks to the quality of this remaster. Had a lot of really talented studios behind it!

@Ratchet916 My main reason is that I really want this remaster to do well. Metroid historically doesn’t sell well, with OG Prime and Dread being the exceptions.

I want this remaster to succeed so that Nintendo gives the other two Prime games the remasters they deserve as well. Me buying both games probably won’t help too much in the long run but I’d like to support it as much as I can

My other reason is that I’m too impatient to wait two weeks for the physical version to come out, even though I prefer physical versions of games usually. So it’s also kinda for the reason you mentioned.

@HolyGeez03 It's hard to say. It definitely could be, however, the physics and mechanics are all straight-up ripped from the original. Which makes me think that this is possibly some other sort of engine that took the OG mechanics but then overhauled textures, models, lighting, etc.

I’m genuinely shocked at how overhauled the entire game is while still being so faithful to the original look. It completely feels like one of the RTX off/ on comparisons.

@Max_the_German I want this to reach 5M sales as well, doing the most I can to help it reach that

I’m still in shock about Ghost Trick and Prime Remastered. This is probably the best Direct I’ve ever seen.

I have a lot of hopes for this game, but I'll just name my biggest wishes:

More story-driven, the plot itself being quite a bit darker and more reflective, akin to Majora's Mask.

Actual dungeons with distinct themes, that are all themed to the area they're located in (should be a lock-in).

A better weapon system, with the ability to manually upgrade and repair weapons.

More in-depth and interesting bosses. The blights were fine but pretty forgettable. Give us more stuff like Maz Koshia!

@Mikey_205 Yeah I know, but the code still isn't finished to the point where it's recommended to start a PC port.

Awesome! Really looking forward to PC ports of OOT and MM specifically, but this is great as well. Stuff like this goes a long way toward modding and preservation in general.

Subspace Emissary is my favorite Smash story mode by far, as I'm sure it is for most other people. I would love to see the way it introduced characters in cutscenes and how they interacted with each other return.

Can't say I'm surprised by how it sounds, it's definitely Seth Rogen.

One piece of music that goes super hard that nobody ever talks about is the Wii Play title theme. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the hardest pieces in a game overall but it goes really hard for the kind of game it is.

I'm really excited about this one. I've been getting into the Strategy/ Tactics genre a lot more lately and the first Advance Wars on GBA has been one of my favorites so far.

Hopefully, with the several added months of delay, they've polished and improved the game further than it would have been on release. However, Nintendo also likes to sit on their games once they're finished, so I dunno.

Does anybody still play this game? I must admit I dropped it about a month after it released

Maybe this is just me, but I don't really want to know the answers to these questions until the game releases. I want to be almost completely blind going into this one, so I probably won't watch any reveal trailers or read any articles when they inevitably come out. I might miss out on some of the hype but I think it'll be worth it; I don't want to get spoiled on new features that much.

7 chapters in, I'd say it's an 8/10 so far. The combat feels excellent and the graphics look nice, but the story and characters feel like a massive downgrade from Three Houses. I don't feel nearly as invested in the world as I was in that game as a result. Engage is still a great game on its own, though.

Just give me repairable and upgradeable weapons and we are golden.

I was hoping the day one patch would address the framerate drop that happens during the transition from the top-down map to the battle animation, but I guess not.

I’m on the same page as some others are; I won’t be getting the expansion right away since we’re not really sure what it all entails, but I’ll likely pick it up during it’s second or third wave. Maybe once I’ve racked up some Gold Points from all the new games releasing this year.

That con isn't even a con for me, and I think that's true for a lot of people!

Great changes to Crab and Angle Shooter. Hopefully Angle will feel a bit more useful now.

I still really want to play Awakening and Path of Radiance to see what all the hype is about and become more well-versed in the series. I think once I finish Engage I'll be all in on these games.

I’ll definitely be getting Sephiroth at some point. Not sure about Kazuya, though. Maybe if they had a version of him wearing a suit I’d consider it; give him a bit more style

I just need them to nerf crab tank and I’ll be happy. Maybe buff the Nova and Big Swig too.
