Re: Video: Re-Live your School Years with these Five Nintendo Lies We All Believed

I grew up talking with my friends about Waluigi in SM64DS. I was still new to gaming, so I wasn't smart enough to know that there was a rumor about Luigi in the original that this one sprouted off of. Everyday at lunch me and my 3 friends would all sit at the very back table and report our most recent findings, absolutely determined to find Waluigi. There was also my own stupidity that sparked a rumor for myself in Pokemon Diamond. I had just gotten into Pokemon by then so I hadn't realized how many regions there were yet, or that it was one region per-game (minus Gen 2). When I saw the description on a medicine saying it was from Cianwood City, I thought it was some mysterious hidden city in Pokemon Diamond I had to find. Of course when I got Heart Gold I felt extremely dumb.

Games: Volcanion is a beast of the wild, leading a news reporter (that one from lumiose city thats missing) on an epic chase across the mountains to tame it.

Anime: Magearna, an ancient relic revered by many, decides to connect with a dim-witted 10 year old boy and help him team up with his buddy, a talking Volcanion (let's face it, every mythical pokemon talks in the anime), to go on fun happy adventures together (which he will soon forget about one episode later).

Re: Detective Pikachu Trailer is Revealed, Arrives as a Download in Japan on 3rd February

I'm not at all saying it's bad or anything, it's just... I'm confused. Someone in that conference room 3 or 4 years ago said "Forget everything else, the people NEED a game with a talking Pikachu solving murder mysteries." Again it actually looks cool, but I'm confused on when that one person decided that Pikachu = Detective. I'm sure we'll be seeing heart surgeon pikachu next

Re: Parent Trap: Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival Goes Where Other Wii U Games Don't

@arojilla Cards are used mainly for HHD. You scan them in after unlocking the amiibo phone so you can phone in the villager on the card and design their house directly instead of waiting for them for an eternity to appear in the town. Cards are the only way to design houses for special characters like Isabelle too. After building facilities like the school, you can scan an amiibo card inside to assign that villager a role.

@Kaze_Memaryu Germany is considered amiibo PARADISE. In America, it's much, much worse than you could ever imagine. Just about every amiibo that's not Mario, Peach, or Pikachu are all near impossible to find. Store exclusives usually instantly sell out when they're up for preorder, with most stores like Gamestop only getting 1 or 2 of each amiibo per-wave.

Re: New Skylanders SuperChargers Trailer Plays Up Bowser and Donkey Kong as IP's First Ever Guest Stars

@kamifox1 Spyro's main purpose was a cameo to reel players in by having a familiar character in the game in order to introduce the new IP successfully; it was never in the Spyro series and has always been its own series, people just misunderstood this action and now see it as the Spyro series hence why everyone hates it. Personally I began to like Skylanders for their new and fresh ideas, not for their horribly ugly Spyro redesign. That's why I don't get all the hate right now. They're done with shoving Spyro in our face, and while I think some of their marketing has been a bit shady, it's a genuinely decent game series. I almost skipped out on Superchargers until-OH MY GOSH IS THAT BOWSER?! Take my money Activision! ...Dang it their plan worked!

Re: Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon is Adventuring to 3DS

It's gonna another free-to-start game, I'm calling it now. Nintendo has been absolutely adamant lately that spin-off Pokemon games MUST be free-to-start, and every eshop release they've advertised since Pokemon Shuffle have pretty much all been free-to-start. Please Nintendo, PLEASE. Don't keep doing this.

Re: Don't Hold Your Breath On Those Marth amiibo Restocks

SinnohGeek

Nintendo still refuses to fully accept their mistakes. Sure, Iwata said one thing about it a week or two ago, but he said he couldn't even promise that there will be enough restocks. Other than that, the only thing they say about stock when asked about it now is "Stay in the loop and don't miss your second chance!" That just goes to show that they are completely oblivious and unaware to the whole scalper situation, and they still believe you can walk into most stores and fins an equal stock of each amiibo, with tons of DeDeDes, Ikes, and Villagers. They made a big deal out of this "restock" of 2 Marths in the U.S, yet they've already given Japan good-sized restocks of Little Mac, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Pit, and Captain Falcon, with more on the way. Yet all they say to us in America when we email them is "Try looking harder, you'll find one eventually! I wish you luck hunting for Villager!"
