@derdennis Agreed, Starlink blew all my expectations out of the water. You can tell they really cared about this game's world and its lore. It's not a perfect game, but it's a true passion project with as much soul crammed into it as they could possibly fit. If they did the marketing a bit better then it probably wouldn't be as overlooked as it is.

Guess I'd better tidy up my resort area already. It's been "under construction" for a while...

@stevenw45 You'll know he's done with the film if he's sitting off to the side relaxing instead of editing at his desk. I don't know exactly when but he should be done by the time you're up to the final boss.

@stevenw45 You can actually watch the movie the director ghost made later on, but it requires you to let him finish editing rather than going into his room and capturing him right away

@ShadJV Just a few days ago we saw the back of the download card which confirmed it supports amiibo. They're just keeping everything about the game under wraps recently, which includes how amiibo will work.

I heard the Switch port had quite a few bugs on release but I'm interested in trying this game out. Have their been any patches yet?

Masuda may be a bad director, but he's always had a talent for composing music. I hope his successors learned a lot from him.

It's a tie for me between Unwound Future and Azran Legacy, but I think I'm gonna have to go with Azran just because it was such a bittersweet and satisfying conclusion.

The 3DS went out perfectly. Not too soon, not too late, and with a MASSIVE, near-perfect library of games under its belt.

Never cared for the game but they've always been pretty great at marketing stunts like this. Really cool way to end its first map.

I never hated Fortnite, but it's WAY too overrated and at its core it's nothing but a fun little distraction that gets old after a few matches. I wish it wasn't treated like the second coming of Christ for doing things any other game can do better.

@NEStalgia That's why I think they could benefit from a sequel of some sort. What's there was nice before it got repetitive, so all it needs is to build on the good parts and iron out the flaws like a sequel would.

I hope we get a Starlink sequel. Exploring all those planets so seamlessly is such a magical feeling.

Good, honestly. The Global Link was a super clunky and outdated system and I'm glad to see Pokemon Home will be picking up some of its functions.

@Mountain_Man Well they're not done with the game yet and can't confirm/deny every detail. He's basically saying it's 99% confirmed unless Nintendo says otherwise for some reason.

@-Green- Considering they showed King Boo in a trailer already, I have a feeling the final boss is gonna be a little more than him this time.

@Dev893 We see several across the trailer and the Treehouse segment. One at the door welcome Luigi and friends, a gladiator in a big coliseum, and a movie director that puts you into one of his films.

A Halloween release would be more fitting marketing-wise but hey, I'm not complaining if we get it earlier!

@TheAwesomeBowser Yeah, normally it'd be rude to not invite the creator who sold you the franchise, but Notch chose to distance HIMSELF from his game by making his misogynistic views public. He's only got himself to blame for this.

@olrodlegacy I like having the big ones like Dialga, Groudon, Giratina, etc in raids, but I do think it's about time for the smaller "trio" legendaries to be out in the wild rather than locked to research breakthroughs.

I wonder if they'll put Professor Layton in Smash to go with it. Layton needs some time in the spotlight! I'll definitely buy this one as well. Only ever played Miracle Mask, Azran Legacy, and Unwound Future, so a Curious Village remake would be perfect for me.

It's just saying "Don't forget there's a new Animal Crossing coming soon!" Either way an April direct of some sort is definitely gonna happen given their track record.

We knew a second wave of ships and pilots was coming, but I never expected more Star Fox, a racing mode, and some kind of faction mode to come with it! This update is looking a lot bigger than I expected!

Makes sense. It's a great budget console with a phenomenal game library for those who can't afford the Switch yet. It'll probably keep selling until they make some kind of mini Switch or drop the price, but right now there's not any pressing need to do any of that.

It's sad, but it also shows just how dedicated they are to making this game just as good as the previous Prime games. They really care about this game and they want to make it the best it can possibly be.

@Alantor28 He never said it would, or that it was better than the Switch. For now the 3DS still selling like hotcakes though. It's a nice cheap option for those who can't afford the Switch yet, so of course they're gonna keep it alive a little longer. It's not like it's stealing from the Switch either. The Switch gets the big heavy-hitting titles that will move units, while the 3DS is getting the smaller titles like remakes and minigame collections to tide over 3DS owners and eventually entice them over to the Switch. It was especially smart to release Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS, because now people who enjoyed the remake will see Luigi's Mansion 3 on Switch next year.

For those who don't know, it's not the feather that's deemed offensive, it was the game it was from. The game depicted Native Americans as a bunch of savages trying to burn down a frontier village, and you whacked them with a hammer. If it was just a regular native american depiction, it wouldn't be seen as racist, but considering it's directly referencing this game, it's best to remove it to avoid more complaints. Why is everyone so worked up over its removal anyway. It's a feather, it doesn't even affect the gameplay. All it does is distance Nintendo from its more racist past, because of course it doesn't want to associate itself with that era of history. You may not find it offensive, but even a small minority of people who are offended by this reference could become a major PR disaster for Nintendo in the future. It's just business.

@Zach777 It's listed as November 6th at retailers. Could've just been delayed due to them figuring out this whole process, but otherwise it's gotta be finished at this rate.

Anyone who's actually played the original should know it wouldn't work on the Switch. It needs pretty much all of the DS' features, especially the dual screens.

@Maulbert To each their own! It's definitely not a game for everyone. The best way to enjoy it is if you're looking for a relaxing, casual life simulator, otherwise you might just see it as a grind-fest.
