@Anti-Matter Modding isn't just adding stuff to the game. I have mod games just to get them to bloody work on PC. When developers release a game and it doesn't work and modders come in and fix the game that the devs aren't bothered to do themselves.
I do understand where you are coming from as you want to play the game that the devs developed but not all mods are the same. If we respected the version that the devs release then we shouldn't fix a game that the devs themself release broken.
Mine arrived today. Though Nintendo went sorta lazy with the back of the box with no description. Sure people knew what they were buying with the physical version but still feels lazy.
Ya I got the email on Monday and was lucky I was on my phone when the email came. They did a priority system that if you signed up for interest for the game when it sold out the first time then they would send you a verification code to buy it physically.
I find the white grip on the pro controller ruins the look of it. If someone else loves the colour fantastic. I am glad you love the look of it where I can't.
@Phillips455 Ya it is limited to 1 per customer. I was lucky I was on my phone when the email was sent to me. 11:02am and got my order conformation at 11:06am.
Smart of them to do the email verification. Sure it may not fully stop scalping but it does help alot with people wanting to purchase the game.
I have pretty much gotten all the dlc I wanted for the games I know I would regret if I didn't buy during the year. I didn't want to did it with how slow it is purchasing things on the device.
Oh noticed that it is also coming to steam at the same time. Hmmm. If I don't get the special edition I will be getting it on steam unless they decide to make a pc version of it.
I am lucky I bought the limited edition on day one. The only things I bought last year were the other dlc (as well as the dlc for awakening and echoes).
I still didn't get the game after hearing the botched release. I am glad that they did fix the major issues with the game so I am going to wait for a steam sale to pick it up.
I am a person that if a character's name can be changed (like the persona series) but have an official name even if it is not in the game then I will use that characters name.
Exception is if it is a create your own character that you can change the look of before you start the game.
As the more things get added the more I am looking to resubbing and getting the expansion also. I haven't had a online sub in 2 years. Now for €40 it feels more justified for myself.
I would love for them to add the Pokemon gen 3 games (even though I bought Sapphire, Emerald and Leaf green last year for completion reason as they were the only generation I didn't own).
I do want to get the game physically but I am just a little disappointed that it wasn't the trilogy like I was hoping it would have been. So atm I can't justify myself just getting the Remaster on it's own.
It still surprises me that they are so far apart with their release dates in different countries. I would understand a few days (as some days are better to release films in one country and not another) but nearly 1 month is kinda scary. Especially for people in the later release date to avoid spoilers.
No destructible weapons. I don't mind having different weapons but if they want to have the destructible weapons again. Make them last longer but still have them be unique that if they break that you can't use them but can repair them in the field or at towns.
Classic dungeons again. I would like the main dungeons to make a return again. I do want them to keep the shrines though.
Towns and Villages to feel alive and to each be unique to one another. I don't want every village to do x. I want something different in each village or town that only they can do. That way it gives purpose for each town. Now little side towns are fine in the game as to stock up on supplies.
The big one for me is having a much more stable frame rate. Yes I am a 60 fps snob but I am not going to expect it from this game so I do hope for atleast a solid 30fps. I will always rather play a game at 30 fps then a game that is 60fps uncapped but runs between 40 to 60fps and those changes in fps is far worse for me then playing at 30fps.
I have noticed a few people saying VR but the problem there that VR is quite expensive in terms of what you are getting.
While VR is cool and is indeed an experience everyone should try once. I myself have a VR headset for my PC and I totally enjoyed playing it but I haven't gotten my moneys worth with the amount of times I have used it.
If you want VR for the system then you can't really use it as a portable system unless Nintendo build the VR system without the need of their next console attached to it.
Also you do need alot of space. I don't have alot of space in my main gaming room. Way smaller then what they recommend. While it is doable but you need to keep checking on your surroundings.
So if Nintendo does do a VR System then it needs to be completely independent of their next system (unless they do something like having a joint system where some games can have VR compatibility and you just attach the VR headset to the system).
Yes I agree that their next system should be a hybrid system but the problem is that they can't just relay on that system for the long term.
There will be a point that they would need to release a home system power house (It doesn't have to be as strong as a PS5 or Xbox series x level but close enough). The reason for this that if they don't keep up with tech for the long term then the gap for third party publishers to release their games on their system will start to diminish more.
Yes there are developers that will put in the time to make a dedicated port but others will most likely just say screw it and just make a cloud version (which we are seeing with games) and when the that gap is more wide between Nintendo vs Sony & Microsoft then you are going to see far more cloud based games which will make the hybrid model less appealing overall and people will just ask Nintendo to make a standard console again.
So for me. Next system go hybrid again but after that I would rather see them make a home system that will match what Sony and Microsoft have out at the time.
While I will get P3P on steam at some point (it will have to be really cheap or if the below can be achieved) I am going to see if mods can add FES content into the game.
Yes it will be very difficult for them as both game run on different engines so I can't see that happening but if they are able to do it then I would gladly buy it again. If not then I am just going to continue playing FES on my PS3.
Yes there are some great additions added to P3P but the additions added to the game for me are not enough with what we lost to make it.
I don't mind the budget covers but I would rather the spine of the game be the same as the original so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on a shelf.
He deserves the rest but with Semi-Retired I now see him more take a consultant sort of role for game development projects. While he would still be active in the process the amount of hours he would have to put in would be lessened.
@TheIronChimp I have been waiting ages also. I know it would only get the 30% off treatment like other Nintendo IP games but at this stage I am just being stubborn and going to continue waiting.
I already have both p5 and p5r on ps4 but at some point down the line when a good sale comes out I will rebuy it again for pc as I have a steam deck and thanks to that it has reduced the amount of double dipping I have gotten on switch as even if I already owned the game on pc I would have bought it again on switch because of portability.
If I didn't own a steam deck then I would have bought it on switch as well as other games like Nier.
Charlie as luigi is not bad. Still fits the role but I expect better. Chris is better now but still doesn't fit the role until I hear more lines. Taylor-Joy as Peach is really ***** good. She easy fits the role, right up there beside Jack and Keegan.
To be honest some glitch you can overlook like the pokemon going off the edges but others as shown here (even though they are funny) really shows that these games were not ready.
The issues I have encountered are performance issues and one cliffside that the textures didn't load fast enough and looks like a mess. This happened during a pokemon battle (can't remember if it was a wild encountered or trainer battle).
But this showed that Game Freak really needed more time with this game as this game is still in beta.
That moment that you buy a €50 code from your store to buy the Age of Calamity expansion pass (plus left over for future sale) only to discover I have already €28 in my wallet.
@Aerona I was going to say the exact same thing. I started playing violet and went into the setting to change it to Set mode like I always do and couldn't find it.
I have no idea why they removed it as the online games and competitive will have set rules.
With the other things removed (while I still hate that features are removed) there can be some reason to remove it but it makes no sense to remove a feature that you can select for the offline game that is there for the online battling.
These are what they need to improve on with their online service.
New systems. Like adding GB, GBC, GBA, DS, Gamecube and Wii. Getting other systems from sega like the master system, Saturn and Dreamcast would also be fantastic.
Stop with the drip feeding of new games. I understand that they can't just unload everything all at once as there would be nothing to look forward too each month but 1 game a month is not good enough. It needs to be atleast 1 new game per system (not counting mega drive or any other future third party systems) per month but ideally 2 minimum would be a great start.
Now I now know their online is ptp system but improving the net code would also be great.
Having native voice chat for the system and allow friends to have a party system.
Future proof it so the system can move onto the next system without any loss of features.
Adding a discount to online members. like maybe get an extra 10% off the sale price of games that go on sale. and if you own the expansion maybe get additional 10% off that.
If the next system is backwards compatible with the switch them make all eshop purchase you have made available at launch and don't charge a fee that added update features to them like you did on the wii u with VC games.
While what we seen of Pratts performance is the only downside so far I have with the movie so far. I need to see another trailer where you see his performance more.
The price for the battle pass is the normal going rate for battle passes so that is fine. I also prefer this battle pass progression with it being the same amount of experience every level. That is the only good.
The bad. Locking a hero behind the battle pass (regardless if you can get it for free) is a big nope imo. That character shouldn't have been locked.
Skin prices way too high. €19 for 1 legendary skin (well €20 really with you have to buy the lowest amount of coins) is just way too high.
This one is that they have the right idea but could be implemented better. The weekly coins. They need to be higher or if you buy the battle pass you get far more coins from the challenges. Atleast if you do maybe 8 of the 11 challenges each week during a season as a battle pass premium owner you get atleast 1000 coins.
I remember playing co-op alot with my brother on Second Samurai. Though some things are foggy about the game for me. I do remember alot of the bosses were really out their with their designs and got really graphic (gore wise) when they got weakened.
@GameOtaku for uk and ireland it was out of the blue. They said late September that they would have an announcement in the first half of October.
The ninto the second half they released a tweet saying that it was on sale during the majority of people's working hours and they were gone in less then 7 minutes.
What Nintendo should have done was when they first announced a physical version was to have preorders open for the game if they wanted it to be a my Nintendo store exclusive.
@Would_you_kindly oh I agree it isn't fair but if you are a big star and are offered jobs left, right and centre then companies are going to offer you more money to make sure that they can get you vs someone who doesn't have much work.
@Wexter That is also true with them earning more from convensions. But still I still think that VA should get paid more overall and if they did mocap then that should increase more.
@Would_you_kindly "so you think people should be paid based on how popular they are & not the quality of their work ?"
IMO it is a bit of both. Yes talent is more important the someone's popularity but to the average person who doesn't know the name of the VA over a well known actor or actress then popularity is going to win majority of the time.

tbh I can't see it being remade well for people to like. There are hardly any NPCs and the few that are there wouldn't transition well.

7 was my first ff game but it is not in my top 3. It is either 4th or 5th for me. It is always switching places with ffx.
Top 3 are VI, IX then VIII (yes I know 7 is a better game but for some reason I do like it more even with it's problems).
