While it won't bother be too much I do agree that it is an eyesore. As someone posted a subtile way of having the button but making it consistent in the article.
I understand Nintendo wants people to buy their online services so I think having the Red one stands out more then the grey one is a compromise but either one is consistent with the other buttons.
If the season pass for three houses is on sale also then I don't see myself getting anything from the list above as I already have them or not interested. I will wait and see what else will be on sale.
My brother surprised me with a PS5 Yesterday so I will be playing some PS4 I have not played yet on it as I had the base PS4 and the performance on some of these games will be better on it.
@SwitchVogel I would be 100% on board with that. I already have them on ps4 but I would say it may be the PS3 versions of the game that they would port and not the ps4 versions.
For some it wouldn't be an issue but for me it would annoy me (not terrible but I would defo take the german box art with the big 12 age rating over having the game name in three languages on the box).
I have to say some screenshot only show a small graphical improvement while others you can really see the improvements. I played it back in the day and wasn't really into the game but I hope the people who are looking forward to the game will enjoy it and runs solid.
@Yas |Once again, the voting suggests the games have been well received (46% positive to 42% negative, at time of posting)
I wouldn't call those results well received. To me those would be mixed results leaning into the mostly positive. Cause the results at the time were close to one another they would be called mixed.
Right now it is 36% positive and 52% negative which I call mostly negative.
@WahooTime Ah I see it now. I think I remember looking at the nes controllers and remember seeing what the price was and assumed that it would be the same price for these. Thanks. At €7 it is more tempting.
It is good that it got a high score and people will enjoy it but for me I am going to wait for a patch to be release if they can get the game to be a stable 30 fps.
@Nookingtons Honestly if I didn't have a gaming PC already I would snap up a Series S as it is really good value for what the specs are so it isn't fair to call people poor if they want the new xbox.
@LillianC14 I am only adding mark up onto that for the drive and redesign. Plus I only did €100 to make it equal of a price increase between the two versions of the PS5.
@Alucard83 People make mods cause they love the games. Some mods just replace the models or textures which is a simple mod. Others can add so much extra content to the game that will add extra hours and most important to me it can help improve the games performance.
Example Nier on PC is really really poorly optimized but with a fan patch (mod) improves the games performance that makes playing the game a much better experience without changing anything else in the game.
Mods are not illegal. Mods have been encouraged my many many companies. Just because Nintendo them don't like it doesn't mean it is automatically illegal.
Hell someone made a mod for Just Cause 2 on pc that added multiplayer and SE loved it so much they added as a mod on steam. When Just Cause 3 was released SE encouraged the same people to make the multiplayer mod for the game again.
Another example of SE is that someone did a upgrade of the original Deux ex and added 10 hours of extra gameplay on pc and SE was very impressed that they added it on steam for free for old and new owners of the original game.
Some games can live for a long long time with mods. Skyrim would be nowhere as popular as it is now if it wasn't for mods. Yes it would be popular but not on the same level if Bethesda didn't allow mods.
@Tourtus sigh Yes if it is in the contract or agreement that you can't reverse engineer then they can sue you for breaking the contract or agreement by doing it but they can't sue you for reverse engineering because it is legal to do so.
I got the email from rice digital earlier today and laughed at the Safety goggles. I played the game on the vita and it was just so stupid that it was fun. Though I don't see myself getting the game but to the people who are going to play it I hope you enjoy the games as much as I did.
@SwitchForce Dude you know you can reverse engineer the code to then make an emulator which you don't need the source code for. Reverse Engineering code is 100% legal.
Doing trials like these does help with making the online more worth it. I already have it physical but if I didn't I would jump on this trial as it is the first trial I would have been interested in.
@Dirty0814 Dude a stable fps should be atleast a basic requirement. I complain because I want the industry to try but when people just accept unstable framerate companies are just not going too try. But go head and continue too insult people if it make you feel better.
@abbyhitter yes I may be spoiled with being a PC gamer for the past decade but I am not expecting every game to be 1080p 60fps on other systems. I am just expecting a game to have atleast a stable 30 fps even if it has an unstable resolution cause an inconsistent framerate can ruin the game for me.
@Darkyoshi98 There is no way they can do that. If the demo has a resolution of between 570p - 810p with fps of 20 - 30 fps then there is no way they can do 1080p 60fps on the release. The best you can hope for is a solid 900p 30fps in the final game and even then I don't think they will be able too achieve that.
@SimonCucho If the game was a solid 30 then it would be fine for me. I would like it too be 60 but I would take a consistent 30 then a 60 fps that would be all over the place but they couldn't even get a solid 30 so that is why I am complaining.
@Rodan2000 You can tell the difference. The problem with people who say this have not played on higher fps. I can tell the difference between 120, 60 and 30.
We are not trolls. Framerate is very important for a game. A solid fps give a smoother experience and the higher it is the more fluid it will be as well as faster input response. The input response on 60 is faster then 30. Why do you think all fighting games are 60 fps it is because cause of the response time.
@SimonCucho if you think sub 30 fps is fine then get basic PC and download a new game and max the settings on it and play it it would be bad. Or play deadly premonition 2 without the patch in the open areas. That is framerate and it is very important to have locked 30 fps minimum.
Resolution to me is not that important but FPS is very important. They needed get atleast a locked 30 fps for a smooth experience for the whole game.
@Hunt3r_Cr0wl3y Cloud version of a game means that you are streaming the game too the switch.
That means the game is running on a computer and then it is streaming to your switch for you to play it. This mean you will be playing the game on PC quility settings that the switch would never be able to handle natively without any downloads (outside of the launcher download too play the game).
The downside to this is that you need to have a very high internet connect at all times to play the game and the slower your connection is the worst the game will play (input lag) but even if you have good connection you will still have input lag worse then a native port since it needs too send your input to the computer then bounce back that information to your switch. Also if Remedy decides to shut down these computers hosting the game then you lose your access to that game even if you paid for it.
Guys not all games are created equal. Yes they ported Witcher 3 to the switch but that doesn't mean that every game can then be ported to the switch. I play games at max 4k rez 60 fps when I can and some open world games run fine at that while other linerer games are not able for it.
Let's takes RE3 remakes vs Control for example (both linerer games). RE3 is a much better looking game graphically compared to Control which would mean it is very gpu heavy but with all the partical effects and destructible environments in Control compared to RE3 which means that games is very CPU heavy. That means porting these games would be very different process.
You can't have the mindset of always going "if x game can be ported then y game can easily."
I don't like cloud game at all but I won't say that it shouldn't exist.
If you are paying for the game and it is cloud based (like the switch) then I will say hell no this is what I don't want cloud gaming too be.
Now if you buy native port of the game and also offered a cloud version which runs off a pc (either free or a small extra fee) then sure that I am fine with as you still have the game (while may not look or run as good) you will still have the game.
Where I am fine with cloud game also is a services model. Pay €10 - €15 a month and have access too all these cloud based games then I am ok with that as you are not paying for the games you are paying too rent these games.
@Agramonte ah then if that is the case with GeforceNOW or Shadow then I am ok with that form of cloud gaming but the form likes Stadia (the buying of games individually not the renting model) or with the switch cloud games I hate.
I am completely fine with a renting model where you have access too all these games but you pay a monthly fee. That too me should be the way cloud gaming should be (like PS NOW).
@Agramonte while I can understand that streaming the game is better as your are getting top visuals from a gaming pc but the problem there is that when they decide too shut down those streaming pc then those games you bought are also gone.
At that stage you would be better off getting a gaming pc and get a shield if you want too game said game portable.
The big problem with cloud gaming is that even if your internet is excellent (which mine isn't) it will depend on where the servers are hosted for these games too be run which will increase the latency even more the further you are from them.
@Yellow As much as I am a massive pc user I will most likely get a PS5. I wouldn't say the PS5 is redundant if you have a gaming pc. The Xbox Series on the other hand.

PC main here. I won't be getting a series x as anything exclusive from Microsoft will be coming to PC also so it will be the PS5 disc version.

@Collette they are €20 each (€18 for the sale price).
Re: No More Heroes 1 & 2 Are Both Available Now On Switch
Hmm €20 each (not counting the 10% off) Seems fair for each but would have liked a bundle deal also.
By biggest worry is that is NMH 1 for EU the Censored version or will it be the uncensored version that was released in the US.
I am assuming NMH 2 is going too be uncensored since it was for the EU release.
