@NGNYS Wow. You really need to relax. There are plenty of games with cutting edge tech that also have fantastic gameplay and deep narratives. Does every game have to be like that? No, of course not. And they aren't.
@link3710 It ties in with a teaser that Edge put out strongly suggesting that the game is the subject of their next issue. You never know for sure, but I really wouldn't rule it out.
@Willsy Yeah, it would have been a bit anticlimactic for sure. Just seems a shame since the Wii U had ME3 after all. Oh well, will pick it up for PS5 when it drops next year so I’m still excited!
Still haven't picked this up and don't really plan to. There are more fantastic games out there than I could ever hope to play. Easily got 10+ games on each platform I own that I've bought and haven't got to yet. Something like this needs to be one of my all-time favourites or a very special release to get my attention, and it's none of those things. It's a bit of a lazy port and I'm not that bothered what happens when it's "gone". Fully expect them to be released individually and then I might pick up Galaxy again, we'll see. But not going to lose any sleep over it.
@SoapMonkey Honestly, you're better off queing for ranked. You won't get matched with pros nearly as much, and people don't ragequit as often because they get banned if they keep doing it. It's still not perfect but it's so much better. I was exactly the same as you, then ended up playing ranked by mistake (didn't notice I wasn't on casual anymore) and didn't look back. It's amazing how much you improve when you can actually complete games and don't start 5 goals down with AI teammates.
@MrBlacky Agree with the others, this one is way better. Requires skill but looks effortless and super stylish. The one in the article is just kind of exploiting the mechanics. I get that, but for me it takes away a lot of what makes the game appealing so just isn't as impressive.
Those posters would be so, so much better without the 3D All Stars branding. They're not going up in a shop, there's no need for it. Just have the artwork and the main game logo!
It's incredibly cool, but the price and requirement for multiple Switch consoles means it's something I'm probably not going to bother picking up, sadly.
Good grief, people need to get a grip. Rocket League is an awesome game, that is now free to play - even without an online membership. I cancelled my NSO sub as soon as I heard the news, as this was the only game I played online on Switch. I have no interest in Fortnite but the existence of a cross promotion doesn't make Rocket League any less good...there's literally thousands of other cosmetics to choose from...
That's a shame and a surprise if so - I mean surely the Switch could run the originals at least, even if there's not much "remastering"? Either way I'd be buying on PS4/5, but still a shame.
I'm not a Bethesda fan at all (hated Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Dishonoured and haven't been back since) but this is a staggeringly massive move. Well played, MS. That is some serious clout and there's going to be a lot of people switching platform or picking up a second console as a result of this. This generation has just got very interesting. Wow.
I was really excited by this announcement at first but the high price and limited availability have turned me off a bit. To the point where now I'm just not that bothered. Plenty other games to get.
Monster Hunter is always good, and Ori was a nice surprise. Hades is great but already have it elsewhere. Very excited for Balan Wonderworld but the Switch version looks awful so I'll definitely be getting that for another platform.
Sniper Elite, Rune Factory, The Long Dark, PGA, Empire of SIn, Disgea and Fitness Boxing all looked dire. So a mixed bag for me, with more bad than good.
Sadly I'm one of those that gets completely put off by the name "rogue" in anything. Immediately makes me think permadeth, procedurally generated, twitchy gameplay, all that kinda stuff. I'm sure there's more to it but the ones I've played have put me off.
Better, but not "miles" better, no. They're still wonderful games, but they've had the absolute bare minimum done to them and that's a shame whichever way you shake it.
My gut feeling is Mass Effect for this one, and of course the Monster Hunter gamer that's been no-so-subtly rumoured. Although with Monster Hunter World being compatible for PS5 I'm not sure I can get particularly excited about a Switch game, but we'll see.
Y'know, the more I look at these, the less I want them. When it was announced I was pretty caught up in the hype but I think I might cancel to be honest. Much more excited for 3D World.
Fully expect Galaxy 2 to become available when the game goes off sale in March and all the titles become available individually. It'll be prived somewhere around £30 at least, and we'll all buy it anyway because by that point we'll all feel like we need the "complete set".
Odyssey, 3D World and Galaxy are the top ones for me. They're all great games but if I was going to choose a "least favourite" it would be Sunshine. Still good though, not knocking it.
@FlaviusFire Ah interesting. I'll probably have to wait and see, not completely sold on the format but if the supporting story is good enough I'd be tempted.
Haven't felt compelled to play a Dynasty Warriors game before but this one looks great from what they've shown, for sure. Does there tend to be any exploration/wandering around in these or is it just fight after fight?

Absolutely love this aesthetic. I'd happily play a full game like this.

Re: Nintendo Indie World Showcase To Air Tomorrow, 15th December
Awesome, love the Indie World streams, almost always the ones with the most games I actually want to play. Looking forward to this!
Re: Random: Smash Bros. Director Masahiro Sakurai Shares His Thoughts About The PlayStation 5
Astro Bot is indeed wonderful. Best non-Nintendo platformer I've played in a long, long time!
Re: Forget Next-Gen, Nintendo's Also Launching A New Console Today
This looks lovely, but I've bought a PS5 so can't justify this on top just yet. Maybe for Xmas!
Re: Video: Nintendo Shares Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Course Creation Tips
I'd be fascinated to find out how this has sold. It looks so cool but I just can't justify it at that price.
Re: Two Of Grasshopper's Older Games Are Being Released On Switch Next Year
Ooh nice. Hadn't heard of these before but definitely on my radar now.

Re: Frame Rate And Resolution For Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Demo Revealed
The performance doesn't bother me nearly as much as the gameplay, unfortunately.
Re: Nintendo Shadow-Drops Another Nintendo Direct Mini, Watch It Here
Part Time UFO looks lovely! And very happy with the No More Heroes trilogy coming to Switch. Good stuff!
Re: Video: Jurassic World Evolution Switch Gameplay Highlighted In New Developer Spotlight
That is seriously impressive. For a game of that scale on Switch it looks incredible. Bravo Frontier. Just wish it was Planet Zoo instead!
Re: "Nintendo Isn't That Smart": Pachter Says Nintendo Should Scrap Switch And 'Only Have Switch Lite'
Bold opinions for sure, but personally I play my Switch docked 80% of the time, at least. Handheld is a wonderful option to have, though.

Re: Poll: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
Way, way, way too expensive. But I'd love to get one and will be tempted if they ever go on sale.
Re: Sega Surprises Everyone By Releasing A Canned Golden Axe Sequel, Including The Original Devs
How bizarre. All the games look terrible, but I guess I'll grab them if they're free.

Is there anyone worse at wasting their IP than Sega at this point?
Re: Super Nintendo World Will Now Open Spring 2021, New Mario Café And Store Revealed
It looks incredible! Hope it's permanent though, as I won't get back to Japan until probably late 2022.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #62 - Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
That Japanese cover is woeful! Definitely a win for the west this time around.
Re: You Only Have One More Week To Download Nintendo's Jump Rope Challenge
Limited digital releases really need to not become a thing. That said, I really don't care about this one and won't be downloading it.

Anyone that votes the western art here needs their heads examined.
Re: Round Up: Everything Revealed During The Nintendo Life Indie Spotlight
Great idea and I'd love to see it done again, but none of the games particularly appealed to me on this occasion.

Re: Dark Horse Publishing Sonic The Hedgehog Encyclopedia In 2021
I refuse to buy this for the awful name alone. Design looks horrible too. No thanks.
Re: Rumour: Is Prince Of Persia Remake Coming To Switch? Well, It's Complicated
Considering that the "remake" looks absolutely terrible, I really wouldn't stress about it.
