New game? Sure, but honestly I'd be happy with a re-release of Power Stone 2, which was absolutely faultless.

Kirby meets Ristar and Castlevania? Nice idea but looks a bit dull if I'm honest.

I'd be interested if it was free like PS Plus games, but I'm not going to bother if I can only play it for a week.

Nice tribute to Out Run, but shame the tracks are just "remixes" and not anything actually new.

Those are insanely cool. Love his work.

Very nice, but the First4 stuff just keeps getting more expensive every year and I just can't ever imagine being in the market for something that pricey.

@Heavyarms55 Yes, and it's available at a reduced price with an advertised reduced feature set. It doesn't make your TV obsolete because there is still the core Switch model that maintains that feature. This is a cheaper, lighter option for those that don't use the dock. Of which there are plenty. Nintendo aren't trying to rip you off or force you to adopt a new technology to do the same thing you did before. So it's nothing like the headphone jack saga.

Looks nice, great option for kids in particular but I knw a few people that will be lining up for one of these. Not for me but can see the benefit for the right person. Personally I'll be holding out for the Switch "Pro", if that turns out to be real as well.

@Heavyarms55 Really? Removing the headphone jack rendered expensive hardware obsolete. It's nothing like that here.

The Switch Lite is for people that aren't connecting the Switch to their TVs. If that sounds stupid then I guess it's just not for you, but there are plenty of people that would love one of these. And I think the new colours look ace, so each to their own.

In all seriousness, I can see where Miyamoto is coming from an to expect a competitor product to the likes of PSVR is unrealistic at this stage. Nintendo are about mass market and PlayStation are about hardcore gamers and right now in-depth VR experiences are firmly in the latter camp. If they can figure out a way to make a dedicated VR unit for everyone then I imagine they'll strongly consider it.

Network support on the other hand? Well, yes. Ninty needs improvement there.

Oh man, can't wait for this. Been to Japan a few times now but already saving to go out again once this and the new Ghibli park are open.

@YANDMAN Haha, much more likely you've been playing on my team and been frustratingly beaten. Just about scraped Diamond on 3v3 now so not too bad but hardly top tier either!

The technical performance is a dealbreaker for me, sadly. I'll be picking it up on PS4.

By far my most played game on Switch. Still hopelessly addicted and no sign of slowing down. Getting waaaay overloaded on items now, looking forward to the inventory management changes they've promised.

I think it looks great, easily one of my most anticipated Switch titles. Kinda wish the female character design was a bit more "subtle", but it still looks great fun to play.

Watched a few demos and yeah, the Switch version really is pants, unfortunately. Will be getting this on PS4 instead.

@X68000 Still, at least that's something! Thanks for the link. Very tempted but I'm also going to Japan later this year and wondering if I might be able to grab one when I go over. Guess it's unlikely anywhere will have the limited edition goodies though.

I was a bit disappointed at first but the rabid backlash honestly makes me want the game more. Gamers are so damn touchy.

It looks great, really love the style. But £125 seems a lot for a relatively small figurine/statue.

Great news, will be very tempted by this one and can't wait for Virtua Racing next week. I'd love to see some model 2 arcade games come our way at some point though, like Daytona and Virtual On.

@Alucard83 As I understand it, free-to-play titles do not require PS Plus on PlayStation as they are monitized a different way. Not 100% certain but pretty sure I heard this recently.

I hope the world is a little more populated this time around. I loved that the original BotW was this big open, abandoned area where civilization was almost all gone, but it'd be interesting to see the people rebuilding and life starting to flourish again.

It's a real shame but I think I'll wait to see the final roster before I decide whether it's a bealbreaker or not.

I'm sure it'll happen eventually, would be weird if they didn't, but I kinda agree with Mr. Bowser that the chat should be about the games for the time being. They're putting a lot of effort into making a quality library of games and it shows.

Having said that, I will totally be on board with a Switch "Pro" if they do decide to do that in the future.

I thought it was good overall. BotW2 was the real bombshell but was also really excited by The Witcher 3, Panzer Dragoon, Astral Chain, Link's Awakening and No More Heroes 3. The rest, if I'm honest, was a bit boring for me personally, but I expected that. No interest in Banjo/Kazooie or the Dragon Quest characters for Smash so I'm pretty relieved I didn't buy the character pass, and Animal Crossing bores me to tears so glossed over there as well.

But overall, gotta say that E3 this year has been lacking that extra something special. The closest we've got is the Final Fantasy VII Remake from SE's conference and BotW2 from Nintendo, but the show in general still feels a little lacklustre compared to previous years.

At the right price, I'd actually be very tempted by these. At the moment I find I'm platying in handheld mode a lot but much prefer using my Pro controller for stuff like Rocket League. But I don't like putting the screen down to play so I don't tend to use it when I'm not docked.

Enjoyed the first tow games but absolutely love the look of this. Really hoping it turns out well.

Really enjoyed the original so this is good news, even if the other consoles are getting a "better" version. The original is still beautiful today anyway.

Wonderful game but really don't feel the need to buy a physical edition, certainly not on Switch.

@retro_player_22 Well, you don't know that they won't for some titles. Wait and see, it could happen.

It still looks a little lacking from a technical perspective in some ways, but still very fun. I think if I was a big Pokemon fan I might have be a little "over" it by now but as someone who's not played any since the originals, I'm looking forward to playing a new Pokemon that isn't watered down like Let's Go Pickachu/Eevee.

As much as I love Marvel, big "no thanks" from me too I'm afraid. Just doesn't fit right for either franchise.

It's impressively done for an amateur but goes too far, IMO. Half way between the two would be ideal.

Good news to hear - no doubt the movie will still be pants, but Carrey seems like a good fit and if Sonic's design is "fixed" then I'd be a little more inclined to see it.

@AranBogard This x1000. Tracks and characters are everything in a Kart game and Team Sonic Racing is so, so weak in that regard. Really disappointed.

Great idea, actually makes me kinda tempted to pick up Let's Go to get a good stock of the gen 1 Pokemon.
