Very tempted by this, although I really don't like the Switch version of the clamshell - makes no sense without the Genesis branding! Might buy on PS4 instead in that case.

I'd love an arcadey tennis game on Switch but have to say this doesn't look great from what they've shown so far. Will keep an eye on it though.

I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw this game in the arcade for the first time as a kid. That cabinet was just bonkers at the time and I loved it. It might not be my first choice for a Sega Ages release but I'm glad to see Sega dipping their toes in the arcade waters at least, so I'll be very tempted to pick it up.

Could this be Platinum's take on a Kaiju-style game, perhaps? Or mecha? Intriguing! Can't wait to find out more.

Damn, put this on my wishlist when I first saw it but thought I'd check out the reviews first. What a shame. And now I see it in motion, it doesn't even look as good visually as Daytona USA 2001 on Dreamcast. Still, there's a few other low poly retro racer sims in development, hopefully one of them turns out good.

Gotta say this appeals to me a lot more than the Animal Crossings of old - tempted to give it a go sometime, but probably when it's on sale.

I can see why people want to see it in a museum, but if Luckey says he'll make the actual experience itself available for everyone to enjoy through his own preservation efforts, surely that's better than staring at it in a glass cabinet? I know which i'd rather do as a fan of gaming tech.

I’m no fan, Smash isn’t really my thing. Bought the latest one but if I’m honest it didn’t really click and I haven’t been impressed by the DLC. Only bought Joker and even then only played it once since then so kinda wish I didn’t. Byleth was a massive disappointment but creating conspiracy theories about Sakurai and assuming he’s some kind of bizarre narcissist is just weird.

I love Sega - that much is clear by my username - but their approach bugs the hell out of me sometimes. Persona and Yakuza are both fantastic series and they've been knocking it out of the park with those. Sonic Mania? Awesome. Very excited for Panzer Dragoon on Switch and Streets of Rage 4, too.

But the fragmentation and inconsistency is what gets me. Phantasy Star Online 2 is a game I've been dying to play for years, and when they finally announce it for the West, it's North America and only on Xbox. New Virtual On Collection? Japan only. ARGH. Then there's the recent Super Monkey Ball release, which was of the worst game in the entire series. Grr.

And yes, we need more Saturn and Dreamcast era re-releases. The IP they have is ridiculous and they just don't do anything with them. I've re-bought classic titles for PlayStation, Nintendo and Square Enix countless times on multiple platforms and probably will do again. If Sega released the potential of their portfolio, people would buy them and I don't think it would just be oldschool fanboys like me.

Great interview, love these guys. Absolutely gutted about the Scott Pilgrim game - if I knew it would have been delisted I would never have sold my Xbox 360. Such a shame.

Love Jim Carrey, usually willling to give a film a chance if he's involved. Would love to see him in a more serious role soon though, he's a lot better than he gets credit for. Also amazing how good he looks for a fella that's nearly 60.

Another "meh" for me unfortunately, so far Piranha Plant and Joker have been the only DLC characters I've wanted enough to buy, so quite happy I held off from buying the character pass up front. Fire Emblem seems a really anticlimactic one to end on, especially as there's already a blue haired, sowrd wielding Fire Emblem character in there already, but oh well.

Remaster. Sequel. Make it happen.

Pretty incredible really. I've recently gone back to the game after all the updates but still haven't spent a penny on it and don't plan to. It's a fun enough little distraction when you're out and about though.

For the right price this is a great buy, really enjoyed it on PC over the course of a couple evenings.

Looks great! Haven't picked up Sword or Shield yet but getting very tempted. Would love a collection with the expansion pass included.

I think it looks great, in theory a perfect game for commuting - I take a fair few European flights for work and can just imagine sitting down and experimenting with a new genre mashup to take on the flight with me to play for 1-4 hours depending on where I'm going. Intrigued to find out more!

It's a pretty believable rumour - honestly if Nintendo aren't planning a Prime Trilogy remaster before Prime 4 then they need their heads examined. The 2D one makes sense too and I'd love a rerelease of Samus Returns as well as I never bought a 3DS.

Good lord. This is what I've dreamed of for years. Really, REALLY need one of these. Analogue do such amazing stuff but I've never felt the need to buy one of their products as much as this.

Wow. I played the game for probably about an hour before deleting it to be honest, but that was more because of the controls than anything else.

I really, really don't care. I'd much rather we actually had a use for the blue light under the home button.

Honestly I think it's awful and I uninstalled it yesterday. Dull, frustrating to control and poorly monetized. Not the kind of game I'm willing to support, unfortunately.

Unless this is a core accessory for a game based on The Ring, I can't imagine wanting to get this.

@Mr_Muscle That's all fine in theory, but in certain situations I personally don't think it's helpful to ignore the situation around you just because you've got your own house in order.
