@RadioShadow It's not been banned or censored, the publisher has chosen not to release it. Which presumably means that there was not enough perceived interest from retailers/distributors/consumers.
I like the art direction but the 'gameplay' video didn't do enough to convince me to back it, would need to see quite a bit more of it. Also kinda wish it was a little more serious in tone than the video implies.
Went to the Kirby Cafe once and it really is as good as it looks. Food and drinks were both excellent. Brilliant experience and well worth going if you're in Tokyo while it's around! Really wish I could go again.
@Snakesglowcaps NL is a major website owned by Gamer Network, not some one-man-band trying to make it big. Major publishers like this make a good deal of effort to make sure their writers aren't influenced by advertising sales.
As for Observer, been wanting to get it on PS4 for ages as I really enjoyed Layers of Fear, but will probably wait for the Switch review to see how performance holds up and then decide which one to get.
I really haven't kept up to date with this (I was disappointed about it not being NMH3) but have to admit that from the reviews so far it sounds excellent and I think I'm going to have to pick it up. Would love to get ports of the originals and of course a proper sequel one day!
This really doesn't seem to bear much comparison with Dark Souls. The concept sounds interesting and the visual style is nice but the combat looks awful in the trailer, so we'll see I guess.
"Fading competition"? PS4 certainly doesn't look like fading anytime soon. If anything it's too soon for a PS5 announcement, there's a ridiculous amount of promising games looming on the horizon, so this is a little premature methinks, as is the hardware refresh.
An eShop redesign should be absolutely essential though, and I'd like to see a few more 3rd party system sellers that aren't just ports.
This...wasn't that great, sorry. Pretty janky in parts, and just look at the header image of the article - where the detail on his tunic just disappears and he's got his hand the wrong way up to fire the arrow. I'd dearly love a Zelda animated series and these folks have definitely got some talent but it's not quite 'there' yet.
Looks adorable, but shallow and not especially challenging - a bit like the recent Kirby game. So as much as I like parts of it, I probably won't pick it up. Really hope Metroid isn't too far off, because I'm a bit worried by how few of Nintendo's first party games I'm picking up at the moment.
Love seeing different interpretations of characters. Very cool. It'll be interesting to see if his take on Sonic turns out to be close to the movie version!
The controllers are lovely, but considering you could probably get a NES Classic for the same money, it's ludicrous. Like @scully1888 said, half the price and I'd snap these up in a heartbeat.
It's OK, but not a patch on Richard Jacques' soundtrack from Sonic Racing Transformed. Which goes for the rest of the game too by the looks of it, unfortunately.
@GrailUK @Grumblevolcano To be clear, God of War 3 is not the newest one, it's a remaster that has even been 'free' on PS Plus before, so not too much of a surprise to see it that cheap. But the point stands, Nintendo are pretty crap when it comes to sales.
And there I thought Mr. Mime was disturbing in the Detective Pikachu trailer. Really hard to imagine this being anything but awful, but we'll see when the trailer drops I guess?
Adored Abzu on PS4 and if the port holds up well I'd strongly recommend it. Beautiful and relaxing with an exceptional soundtrack. It's one of those very minimal, arty type of games and it does it very well.
SO excited for this. With this, Gris and Forgotton Anne, my Switch really is going to be an indie machine. Loving these recent releases. Just need Red Strings Club now and I'll be set.

Re: Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet Won’t Be Released In Europe Or North America
@nessisonett Sadly not just NL, it's worryingly prevalent in gaming culture, particularly online.

Re: Review: Wargroove - A Turn-Based Strategy Classic That Intelligent Systems Would Be Proud Of
Looks good, will be tempted to get it on sale at some point!
Re: Show Off In Front Of Your House Guests With This Sleek NES Controller Bottle Opener
@jedisquidward This. Carefully chosen merch and influences is great but when it's forced like this, it's a bit tacky.
Re: Video: 10 Exciting Games Coming To Switch In The Month Of February
Wargroove looks promising and I guess Odallus looks OK, but this is a pretty weak lineup all things considered.
Re: Damon Baker Joins The Xbox Team
Imagine if one day we could enjoy gaming without the unrelenting drone of fanboys. What a day that would be.
Re: Download Warning Ruins Box Art For Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster
If they wanted "artistic beauty" for the box then they would have used the Amano artwork.
Other than that, I couldn't care less if one of the games is a download as personally I don't buy games to re-sell them.
Re: Prepare Your Wallet For This New Range Of Mario And Splatoon T-Shirts From Uniqlo
Some really nice ones here, but there's a few of the kids and women's designs I wish were available in men's!

Re: Video: Watch The Nintendo Indie Highlights Presentation January 2019
I usually love these indie highlights but apart from Wargroove and possibly Inmost, this was very disappointing. Really dull.
Re: God Of War's Art Director Is Still Drawing Realistic Smash Bros. Characters, And They're Amazing
Brilliant work, hope to see more of these!
Re: Video: New Teaser Clip Released For Detective Pikachu
Brilliant. Might actually be more hyped for this than the next proper Pokemon game.
Re: A New Line Of Smart, Customisable Pokémon Shirts Is On The Way, Orders Open Next Week
Much nicer than the usual rubbish from the likes of Insert Coin.
Re: Rumour: SNES Games Might Be Coming To Switch Sooner Than You Think
Really hope it's true, I'll be very happy if so!

Re: Doctor Eggman, Metal Sonic And Zavok Join Team Sonic Racing
I say it on every post to do with Team Sonic Racing, but I'll say it again. It continues to look terrible.
Re: Feature: 10 Ways The Nintendo Switch Can Have Its Best Year Yet
@Mars Absolutely think it will, just think this year would be too soon.

Re: Super Mario Run Promo Celebrates Launch Of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
I'd love to play more of Super Mario Run, but the price to unlock the full version is just too high, IMO. If it was under £5 I'd be very tempted.
Re: Gain Ground And Puyo Puyo Join The Sega AGES Line-Up On Switch Next Month
Not bothered about these two, but still got Phantasy Star and Out Run to enjoy for the time being.
Re: Review: SEGA AGES Out Run - A Fantastic Update Of One Of Arcade Gaming's True Greats
Sold. Gimme gimme gimme. Then give me Out Run Online Arcade.
Re: Sega Teases New Ocean View Map And Music Track For Team Sonic Racing
They have completely ruined what was a brilliant music track from Transformed. This game looks worse every time we see it.
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe - Nintendo Plays It Safe With This Timely Reissue
It's one of those games that I wouldn't mind playing (never bought the original), but still not 100% sold. Maybe if it goes on offer one day.
Re: Yoshi’s Crafted World Launches Exclusively For The Switch On 29th March
Looks adorable, but shallow and not especially challenging - a bit like the recent Kirby game. So as much as I like parts of it, I probably won't pick it up. Really hope Metroid isn't too far off, because I'm a bit worried by how few of Nintendo's first party games I'm picking up at the moment.
Re: Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Is Slashing Its Way To Nintendo Switch This April
Tried to get into it a few times on PS3 and 360 and it just never clicked. It's looking even more dated now so hard pass from me I'm afraid.

Love seeing different interpretations of characters. Very cool. It'll be interesting to see if his take on Sonic turns out to be close to the movie version!
Re: Reminder: Buy A Digital Copy Of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe To Receive Double Gold Points
No thanks. I'd rather they had an early-bird or Switch-online exclusive discount (like with PS Plus), personally.
Re: Video: Take A Look At New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe In This Introduction Trailer
Never played the original so I'm excited to pick this up, but will probably wait for a price drop.
Re: Guide: Every Nintendo Console Ranked From Worst To Best
Interesting read, but couldn't disagree more personally! My list would be:
1. SNES
2. Game Boy
3. NDS
4. N64
5. NES
6. Switch
7. 3DS
8. GBA
9. Gamecube
10. Wii
11. Game Boy Colour
12. Wii U
13. Virtual Boy

Re: Two Puyo Puyo Games Are Being Added To The Sega AGES Line
@YANDMAN This x1000. Eagerly awaiting Virtua Racing, and keeping my fingers crossed it's the upgraded PS(2?) version.
Re: Nintendo Unlikely To Bring Original Marvel Ultimate Alliance Games To Switch
The original games are best left behind. Hopefully the new one will be (much) better.
Re: Sega Releases Another Superb Song That Will Feature In Team Sonic Racing
It's OK, but not a patch on Richard Jacques' soundtrack from Sonic Racing Transformed. Which goes for the rest of the game too by the looks of it, unfortunately.
Re: Review: Gris - A Deeply Affecting Piece Of Interactive Art That Is Utterly Essential, Despite Its Brevity
So glad it's lived up to the potential. Will be buying it tonight, can't wait.

Re: Rumour: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Is Taking To The Skies On Switch
Always wanted to play Skyward Sword, if they can make the motion controls optional then I'll buy this day one.
Re: Out Run Races Onto The Japanese Switch eShop Later This Week
Can't wait. Gimme gimme gimme!
Re: Review: Nidhogg 2 - Crazy Couch-Play Combat Slightly Sullied By Poor Solo And Online Features
I adore Nidhogg 2 on PS4 and am very tempted to get it on Switch as well! Might wait for a sale though as I've already bought it before.

@Crono1973 Bad reviews are one thing, but review-bombing is something very different.
Re: Nintendo Embraces Opportunity To Share New Games At E3 2019 As Sony Opts Out
@FlashBoomerang Wow. That's some naive fanboying right there.
Re: Dive Into ABZÛ When It Swims Onto Nintendo Switch At The End Of November

Re: Rumour: PlatinumGames Is Working On Three Switch Titles
I'd love a port (and/or sequel) of Wonderful 101.
Re: Brains Behind Yooka-Laylee Demaster Wanted To Recreate "The Good Old Days"
It really didn't work. Nothing like an N64 game.
Re: Hoverbike Racing RPG Desert Child Releases On Switch eShop Next Month
SO excited for this. With this, Gris and Forgotton Anne, my Switch really is going to be an indie machine. Loving these recent releases. Just need Red Strings Club now and I'll be set.
Re: Video: The Pokémon Detective Pikachu Movie's First Official Trailer Has Landed
@Anti-Matter Dude, re-assess those priorities. Life's too short.
