Difficult one... I voted NA because it depicts the game better, but the drawing of the boss is very awkward to me. The art on the Europe version is better I think.

I loved the 3DS game so there's no reason to buy an inferior, 2D version.

@GammaPhonic Absolutely and in my experience, when a game is announced for Winter 20XX, it's never released between the 21st and the end of the year... Also, when you release during that period, it's better to say "Christmas".

Winter 2024 has passed months ago. It's either Autumn, or Winter 2025 imho. -_-

I still have to try one yet, but the only one I put on my wish list for now is Silpheed, because I don't like RPGs and it looks quite incredible for the PC-88. Thexder might be interesting too, but it's hard apparently, so maybe later.

The reviewer completely missed the point. Endless Ocean 1&2 could be played with a single hand. It has never been about exciting stuff.

@Athropos Exactly. The PS5 and Xbox Series (especially the S model) might already have trouble to display what we saw in the trailer...

@FredsBodyDouble It's Retro and they made 3 Metroid Prime games plus 2 Donkey Kong Returns game.

The difference is not that obvious for my French ear. Also Wario is dubbed in French anyway, so they'll probably keep the same actor here. ^^

I loved the original game (one of my favorite games on 3DS) but I really don't want to replay it in 2D.

If it was Chris Pratt, I'm pretty sure they would brag about it... It's probably just an unknown guy that sound very close to Charles Martinet.

It's nice for fans of the manga who want this in their collections, but having used this software for 5 months almost every day, I don't think it would have been convenient to use a cart.

The best Pikmin is Ice Pikmin.

Maybe because I didn't play No Mercy back in the day, but I frankly think that GameCube games like Day of Reckoning improved on it. No Mercy can be very frustrating with its momentum mechanic.

PAL/NA is too busy for me (too many characters but mostly too many stickers).

I loved this game but there's no way I'll play a 2D version of it.

@Damo I'm as surprised as you honestly, but I've seen before the US covers being overrated, probably because most voters are from the US and nostalgia is a thing, unfortunately. Of course they will justify it by claiming the US cover is more 'emblematic' (for who?)...

I can understand most would find the Japanese cover too minimalist, but the Western one is a little awkward imho. The characters don't even look like they're fighting each other, more like they're piling on another character hidden under Bowser's flames. ^^

I love the series but have almost never played the mini games. I vaguely remember Monkey Target but didn't find it that fun to begin with...
That being said, I agree it's a shame if they kinda ruined it for people who enjoyed it, but mentioning the physics in the "cons" without specifying it's related to a mini game and not the whole game is a bit misleading imho.

I don't care about sealed stuff because I mainly collect to play games, but I'm not interested in loose carts either because... I don't know, looks messy and doesn't look as good on a shelf. So I only buy CIB games but a lof of them are repros (because they cost a lot less).
