Re: Give Your Labo VR Kit A Zelda Makeover In Time For Breath Of The Wild VR

@KingdomHeartsFan Almost. There are different kinds of VR (it is actually a very old concept) but what we usually call VR is a virtual reality headset, which provides 1) 3D 2) a field of view that covers your whole vision 3) the possibility to look around by moving your head. Actually the 3D is not even mandatory since 360° videos are usually 2D but they kinda suck.

@YANDMAN I didn't mean to reply again but I just realized that you actually started by replying (#31) to my first comment (#24) on this article. So maybe you're not supposed to read all comments (even though it is recommended to read everything written on a forum before posting), but I'm pretty confident you should have read the post you replied to in the first place.
So please don't make me regret I wrote articles about your work a few years ago...

@masterLEON In my experience, almost every movie available in 3D in theaters is released as a 3D Blu-ray. The difficulty these days is rather to find 3D TVs... Because of the UHD format mainly, which is a shame because 3D looks better on a 4K TV.
Anyhow, I'm perfectly aware that it has become a niche market but I think it could have been a nice bonus, and an homage to the work they've done on 3DS.

Re: YouTube Has Officially Arrived On Nintendo Switch

@Balta666 Indeed, it means you can't even watch a walkthrough while playing for instance. It also bothers me for Netflix (if it's released some day), because I precisely don't play a lot on my PS4 because I know I'll have to quit a game every time I want to watch a Blu-ray.

Re: Review: Dark Souls: Remastered - Perfect Portable Punishment

@NOOGA Exactly. I've got a PS4 as well, so even though I still get confused sometimes (especially when I started playing Breath of the Wild - I had no trouble with the 3DS for some reason), I got used to it. But I think what makes it really difficult here is that the game is on the Switch, so even if you get used to it after a while, as soon as you exit the game and go back to the home menu, you've got to return to the usual convention... -_-
What I don't understand is that, once again, most AAA games do this right (but not the games by Inti Creates even though they're Japanese). To me it's a lack of respect.

Re: Reminder: The Dark Souls: Remastered Switch Network Test Is Starting Today

@SuperZeldaMaker I've got a PS4 and a Switch so I have to adapt very often. I got used to it of course, even though I still make stupid mistakes sometimes (like exiting a menu instead of using an item when I'm about to die...). And when it's reversed on the Switch it is even more confusing. I agree that you get used to the different layout after a few minutes, but then you go back to the Switch menu and you've got to adapt again. -_-
But my point is that I find it baffling when most games including AAA games do it the right way. Shovel Knight inverted the buttons initially but added the option to swap them later via a patch. The only Switch games I know that use B to confirm are from Inti Creates, which is ironic since it is a Japanese company and Blaster Master is exclusive to the Switch. -_-
Now I didn't complain about DS being too slow of whatever. I'm just tired of that confirm/cancel buttons issue (I just don't understand why Sony still hasn't added a setting to invert while you can completely remap the DS4 buttons - which doesn't help in this case) and I find it particularly frustrating here because the option is greyed for some strange reason in the demo. As if they could let you do it but won't to be annoying.

@sportvater He has 4 rackets but they break quite easily, in one or (sometimes) two hits. The difficulty is to build your gauge in that match, so it's better not to use slow motion or other tricks; actually it's better not to try winning the match the 'normal' way! I tried this strategy several times before, but I would only manage to break 2 or 3 rackets before the match ended. :
