I did recently manage to find 2 new 2DS’s in store, they were only $100 each so I’ll be selling one and setting the other up this weekend, and get some gaming in before they close down all online functionality this weekend.
On Switch , I’ve been enjoying playing Dave the Diver, on chapter 6 and it’s a much deeper game and varied game than I’d expected. I’ll continue the noble effort of clearing out my backlog. I’m really looking forward to Silksong as I’ve recently completed Hollow Knight which was superb. I’ve just started up Nier Automata as well.
On Xbox series X I’ll be getting back to Dead Space and RDR2. Might finally start Elden Ring as I hear it’s pretty decent and I’ve sitting on it for over a year still unwrapped!
It’s a birthday weekend for me! 🎂 🎉 Strains on deck Organic Comatose, Khali Kush and an insane batch of Red Congo 🥴
@Yosher I was in the exact same position you were a couple months ago. I tried and tried to enjoy Hollow Knight and it just never clicked with me. I came back to it after some time and it’s now become one of my all time favourite games. I can’t recommend the game enough, try giving it a proper chance, an absolute gem and masterpiece await you!
@johnedwin Ok so that fact would apply if you could drive your PlayStation! 😆 What does Toyota have to do with the video game industry ? Also I don’t know why you keep trying to pan efficiently run companies who stockpile cash as an asset. There’s nothing wrong with investing in liquidity. If Nintendo has to move fast they have the cash on deck to do it, no need to wait on the sell off of their assets, that is costly and time consuming. The Wii U was a retail and generational flop. Yet Nintendo is a still creditors dream with zero debt. Sony can tout the success of the Playstation all day, it’s a great system but as a corporation they haven’t really innovated much at all since the Walkman/discman days, they’ve been trying to catch lightning in a bottle since but have just been piling up debt with far more misses than hits.
Speaking of abject failures , even with Sony’s impressive PS2 sales, the company is still a whopping $31 Billion in debt. Meanwhile Nintendo has $0 debt. Sony’s financial position as a company is the real abject failure.
I recently purchased 2 brand new 2DS Super Mario Bros 2 Editions in store for $200. $100 each in 2024! 😀 I couldn’t believe it, they were just sitting there stocked behind the cashier on clearance. So they’re some still out there in retail believe it or not. I’m just as surprised as you regarding it beating out Dragons Dogma 2, it’s a very good game. Nintendo just runs Japan.
The debate of console exclusivity really is a pointless one. Nintendo sits atop an absolute trove of quality exclusives. For SONY and MS they aren’t even close when it comes to this department. Spider-Man for example isn’t even a SONY IP. Nintendo has done an excellent job of expanding its characters and universe into their own standalone offerings. Shoutout to Princess Peach for joining the club. In the end, Nintendo is the only true self sufficient publisher in the business, hardware and software exclusivity wise.
It’s rather remarkable how much the value, culture and content have evolved the Splatoon franchise. Splatoon is in some ways Nintendo’s equivalent to Fortnite. It’s a online multiplayer, it’s a virtual world with its own culture and characters…the community themed Splatfest events , tower defence, capture the flag, Deck building and turf covering modes etc..and now it’s further upped its offering with a roguelite/roguelike (I’ll leave that debate alone!) DLC! There really is nothing quite like it (Nice try Foamstars!). Splatoon 4 has the makings to be a very meaty package with even more new features and gameplay modes.
@Fizza
Amen! These leakers need to stop being held in such high regard as if there’s something noble about being clout chasing thieves. I get the hype and excitement but there are few surprises we get in life …and these leakers will make sure there are none! Since when was the person who always ruins the surprise party ever considered to be “Cool”?? I feel kinda sad for the ppl who follow them and hang on their every word and post…it’s just reeks of desperation and a lack of basic patience. Instant gratification is a disease in itself.
@LadyCharlie
If there’s something in it for them they’ll be leaking those books and movies for u 💯.
The thing is these aren’t just “advertisements”, they are reveals. These leakers like Pyoro are not only stealing information from the developers and creators but by announcing them before they’re intended to be public knowledge, robs these developers and creators the opportunity to even present their offerings on their own terms. Imagine being an artist only to have someone display your art before you were even prepared. It’s invasive. Sure it doesn’t hurt anybody but it does take away the element of the surprise. Who doesn’t love a “shadow drop”?? Oh yeah just about every leaker
That Sony Kool Aid must be something else! Sony is eternally in debt, over $31 Billion and counting! You’re talking about market share for a company that literally has no value. They didn’t even make this list as a Japanese company. That is major red flags of a poorly run business. These investments you’re touting Sony for are clearly not panning out for them. The only negative you can surmise of Nintendo being the richest, 100 % debt free as well as having the highest liquidity in all of Japan…is that they’re not spending their money ?
Staggering sales numbers, I’d be down for Mario Kart 9 with the inclusion of Wonder Seeds either as a power up or main game/separate mode feature. It would be neat if they introduced some themed online competitions similar to Splatfests. Hitting 60 million is prolific, congrats!
@OorWullie
These numbers are ridiculous, it’s a 10 year old game. MK8 Deluxe has sold appx the same amount as the combined lifetime sales of Spider-Man 1, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn on the PS4. Combined. When it comes to exclusives, it’s not even close. Nintendo is by far and wide the #1 1st part developer
Nice! Picked it up on a recent sale but have yet to give it a proper go. It’s another surprisingly good Switch port so more content is only added value
In one aspect the fact they rotate their strains weekly is legit! …but tricky to obtain those go to strains I’m assuming. Some of the names on these strains tho 😂 ….then u try it and it all makes sense! $40 for a that much shake is value tho! I’m in Canada and the dispensaries here are more likely to carry some mainstays mixed with new strains weekly. It really depends which one you go to up here.
Nice recommendation btw with DUSK. That game always makes me feel a certain way 😆
Can you believe in 2024 I walk into my local department store to grab some bacon…and I leave with a brand “new” New Super Mario Bros 2DS edition for $100? They had it on clearance, couldn’t believe my luck. I’ll either hang on to and sell it in a couple years for some nice coin …or gift it to one of my kids. Shout out to Shoppers Drug Mart btw 😆
Like many others I find myself back into TOTK. I’m at the end game , only a handful of side quests before I go smack the living ish out of Ganon.
I’ve recently purchased Sifu and Assault Android Cactus + on sale to add to the Switch backlog.
On XSX, back to Dead Space 2,Red Dead 2 and think I’ll finally start Eldin Ring. It’s been in its package unopened for over 1 yr 😵.
Strains on deck..Organic Death Bubba and Super Lemon Haze with some Root Beer Float and Peppermint Kush 🤤
2024 and still no hoverboards like they had promised! 😩 The backlog beatdown continues! I’m close to finishing Wolfenstein 2 and I’ve jumped back into Tears of the Kingdom, a pure masterclass in gaming. 2023 deserves a salute from gamers.
The Switch successor talk is about to hit a fever pitch! I’ll just wait patiently for Nintendo to do a proper announcement, but if Mario Kart 9 is a launch window title it better include some Wonder Seed effects! Would be a cool addition to the series IMO. There’s been lot of focus on rumoured specs but Nintendo could go ahead and revolutionize the gaming controller again for all we know. The Handheld market is crowded now. Nintendo will definitely look to differentiate its console. I could see more health/communication features such as StreetPass, stuff such as a Sleep Monitor as QOL benefits. Until then I’ll continue enjoying the amazing library of games on Switch.
Strains on deck, Cuban Linx, Organic Comatose and it’s been awhile but some U.K Cheese!
Such an interesting game this year, it’s received high praise but I’ve seen quite a few gamers who didn’t enjoy this game much at all. Interesting to see such positive reviews met with some ho hum reviews from the gamers
I recently completed Hollow Knight! The White Palace made Deepnest feel like an all inclusive vacation! Sick game. SilkSong will be a day 1 for me.
The Backlog Beatdown continues! Currently playing thru Wolfenstein 2 and have been dipping back into the underrated Olli Olli World, with some Splatoon 3 mixed in there. I’ll be going back to Dead Space 2 and the Gamepass catalog on the Xbox Series X into 2024…as we await the release of Switch 2!! 😝 2023 will definitely go down as one of the greatest years in gaming. We as gamers were spoiled!
Kush on deck are organic Lime Mi’Jito..hits better than coffee! 😮💨 and some organic Comatose and of course Root Beer Float!
Happiest of weekends! Happy gaming! Enjoy the rest of 2023!
The attach rates were impressive on the Wii U but sadly it’s more reflective of the lack of options in software available. So many devs ditched on Wii U early on so any games designed for Wii U sold fairly well, what other choice did gamers have? As poorly as it performed it did debut the massive franchise that is Splatoon so not a complete failure
The Wii U was definitely a flop but I wouldn’t say it was because of motion control gimmicks. Nintendo simply failed to effectively communicate exactly what the Wii U was. They relied too heavily on the Wii branding which was waning at the time and it ultimately confused consumers. Was Wii U a new console or just a controller with a screen on it? They just couldn’t create enough quality software that highlighted the asynchronous gameplay the Wii U Gamepad offered. 13 Million Wii Us sold. I think TotK sold 10 million in 2 days 😂. Look at the Switch tho, 132 Million+ sold. It has a great chance to catch both DS and PS2…it’s never even been discounted yet.
I’m with you on a more powerful Switch 2!…but I’m tempering the heck out of my expectations, this is Nintendo afterall. I’ll guarantee there will be some face palming once the specs, storage is revealed. Let’s hope Nvidia + Nintendo engineering can make some magic again.
@NintendoDad Hollow Knight sat in my backlog for years so I hear ya! I always knew it was considered a great game but I never gave it a proper chance until recently. Challenging yet rewarding. Ironically it’s keeping me from playing anything else from my backlog. Best of luck with Majoras Mask, I’ve got another backlog on my 3DS, OOT 3D being amongst them. I will pray for your family relationships as u play Overcooked 2 😆
@Zuljaras I want a physical copy of Hollow Knight now! Please post your address 😝
@Qwiff I almost forgot I have Dredge in the backlog as well! Good to hear you’re enjoying it thus far. I’m going to go in blind!
I’ve been playing Hollow Knight almost exclusively the last few days. At first, I didn’t like the game, wrote it off as overrated. Now I adore it! If u got stuck or turned off initially give the game another chance! I’ll continue on with some Super Mario Wonder ( it was brilliant of Nintendo to return the franchise to its 2D original roots, even with the influence of the movie just begging for a 3D offering) I’m sure I’ll give a few rounds of Splatfest a go as well.
Hoping to get back to some Starfield, Dead Space on the Xbox Series X
@kryz
I never said Nintendo invented OLED and stop acting like the Vita was the original everything it’s not even comparable to the Switch or Steam Deck. Nintendo has been an innovator in terms of offering multiple iterations of their portable consoles. Valve is taking cues from Nintendo, they’ve even been quoted as saying as such.
@Duncanballs Indeed, more often than not their “gimmicks” become innovations. Even the simple business strategy of offering multiple iterations of your system is business model innovated by Nintendo. Now look at Valve copying it. I’d say they might have released their Steam Deck OLED version a little too early as this is a bit of a slap in the face to those early adopters. It always pays off to wait on these consoles is the messaging.
I’d be down for a 3D feature on the Switch 2. I still think glasses less 3D has potential, it was pretty mind blowing to experience it for the 1st time on 3DS. They did dabble with augmented reality too, would work well with Pokémon and Pikmen games for example
RIP Nintendo! Switch had a good run! Jokes aside, I think it’s guaranteed that the Switch 2 won’t just be a simple increase in power. There’ll be some differentiating features for sure, and Switch still offers the most accessible hybrid option. How crowded the portable space has become, will be interesting to see what Nintendo does to separate themselves from the others.
I purchased a 1TB card a few months back for like $40. Took like 2 days to download all my titles 😂 I still have around 150GB left and it’s super convenient to have access to all my games now.
@Meloman Staying at 128 GB is impressive! I was surprised with how quickly I was running out of space with 512GB but considering the sheer size of the Switch’s library I shouldn’t be surprised
2023 has been a great year for gaming. I think ppl might be feeling burnt out or underwhelmed because of the sheer amount of over exposure these games receive in the media. Ppl are obsessing daily over these games the minute they’re announced. By the time u actually get to play the game, you’ve already seen all the trailers the previews and final Preview write ups. There’s the technological tear downs and comparison videos. There are few surprises in gaming these days because some data miner has already leaked them. You’re paying more for video games but gamers are experiencing more fatigue just due to sheer overhype and exposure.
@awaltzforvenus Yes that’s exactly what the scumbag did. He knew the move wasn’t going to be well received, so he cashed out just before it hit the fan. Now the damage done to the Unity brand reputation is irreversible. And Now he’s cashing out again with a retirement package. For shame!
I feel as if this email is being misinterpreted in parts. There’s no way MS would ever buy Nintendo..that is laughable. To be honest this is quite the compliment to Nintendo. The quote read “Nintendo is THE prime asset for us in gaming”…Spencer is acknowledging Nintendo’s importance to the industry. Of course they’d love to dream about buying Nintendo but they are fully aware this is really just dream case scenario for them. It’s ok to be offended by solely of the thought of MS trying to buy the crown jewel of gaming but as a video game business that should your goal is to position yourself as best as you can. This will never happen so everyone can calm down and just grab some popcorn and enjoy the media field day
I get how ppl like to rely on these leakers and everything but they aren’t doing much other than acting as spoilers! I get the instant gratification and FOMO of todays world but it’s not like Pyoro is doing anything noble. That’s just me though, there are few surprises in life and I know Nintendo tries their best to keep surprises for its gamers. The Direct was a good one but with all the pre hype we are over obsessed with access to info these days.
No one is saying Sony isn’t selling PS5’s. The bigger concern is how they’ve yet to deliver this gen. They’ve been slow out the gate with their AAA titles and exclusives. They substantially raised their pricing without even offering any new content. Sony gamers are paying more for less. There isn’t a sense of excitement around their State if Play announcements and Sony gamers have been largely underwhelmed by this gen. Sure they’re selling systems but they aren’t doing any favours for the PS brand at the moment.
Sony knows their current business model isn’t sustainable as is. They SHOULD be selling alot of consoles , they’re only in year 3 of the PS5 lifecycle. Switch is entering its 7th year and it’s not trailing Sony by much in annual sales. Lifetime sales, Switch has sold laps around the PS5/XBX. Of course they’re generating revenue , especially since they’ve just further increased their pricing much to the dismay of its fan base. Even Sony fanboys don’t look forward to their State of Play announcements as they usually end in disappointment. That’s why they’ve invested in Project Q to help encourage usage beyond the home TV. If they were so comfy with their position they wouldn’t even bother with the half baked Project Q at this point.
You can tell Sony are panicking a bit, that rush job attempt of the hybrid experience called Project Q is proof of that. Not being able to stop the MS/Activision merger hasn’t helped either. I’m not at all surprised if Sony were to pivot back to the handheld market with a full fledged attempt at a Steam Deck killer of some sort. Detachable Dual Sense and all…they’ll introduce it as if they created the concept themselves 😂 . It almost feels as though the timing of their State of Play is the start of their attempt to try and disrupt the attention building around the expected Switch 2 and Nintendo’s upcoming direct.
A Nintendo Direct and now a PlayStation State of Play announced for the same day! I can’t blame Sony for wanting to take some media attention away from Nintendo. What’s interesting is how Nintendo Directs can still generate such high levels of hype, especially at the end of Switch’s life cycle whereas these State of Play announcements usually lead to disappointment. It’s going to be hard for MS/Sony to generate momentum for their current systems with an impending new Nintendo console on the horizon.
@Gryffin As much as I miss Iwata the same way , I don’t think Nintendo innovation lived and died with him. Innovation is firmly entrenched in Nintendo’s DNA with or without Iwata. The lazer focus they’ve had is more out of the need to recover from the commercial failure of the Wii U. Not to mention they have been aggressive with expanding their brand beyond video games (Toys, Amusement Parks, Movies…) which can be risky and expensive.
I still think Nintendo will revisit the VR space and of course they’ll do it in their own Nintendo innovative way. They’ve essentially created the Hybrid console concept , I’d peg that as another innovation of theirs. Personally I just can’t see Nintendo simply upping the specs for the Switch successor, there’ll be some other draws for gamers and it’s developers
I’ve been saying how no one has been talking about what Nintendo might do in the controller space with the Switch successor. An evolved joy con seems logical but they could go a different route and once again revolutionize the gaming controller. All these rumours about power are interesting but we all know it’s never just about power with Nintendo
Surprisingly no one is considering the controllers for the Switch successor. Will they simply evolve the joy con and solve the drift issue or will they introduce a completely new type of controller? Nintendo never focuses solely on power for their consoles, I’m not surprised if the controller(s) are the true next gen innovation of Switch 2
I absolutely applaud Nintendo for this. This is how it should be, you ship a complete game! We’ve gotten complacent as gamers, paying full price for incomplete games with bugs or missing content. They already raised the price on TOTK and I really appreciate them not trying to take advantage of the cash grab that DLC can be. Seriously though how much more could DLC really offer this game , it’s already a masterpiece! They could have made a fortune off TOTK DLC but it’s smarter to allocate those dev teams and ressources and invest the time and money into something else at this point. Props Nintendo!
Over 1 Billion units of software sold! That is insane. I do believe the Switch will be looked upon as having the greatest library of any Nintendo console. The fact it has BOTW and TOTK alone released during its cycle is pretty mind blowing. It’s their most accessible console ever, (sorry Wii), you’re getting the very best of today and yesterdays Nintendo titles and everything in between.
With their next console likely to be backwards compatible the library will only get better, I’d reckon they introduce a streaming app eventually so we’ll be enjoying their games and movies/media all on one system. That’s quite the value proposition
@Jey887 I honestly think the other companies just haven’t quite figured it out. Nintendo seems to understand how to CONNECT with their gamers as opposed to being a company that simply sells games and systems to them. Starfield is a great example, it’s a sprawling space epic, almost to the point of being overwhelming. Nintendo really just keeps it simple and they are masters at creating joy and fun in their games. That’s extremely difficult to do on such a consistent basis. As you mentioned, Mario Wonder will be great fun playing solo but even better to enjoy with family. Starfield is a great game but it doesn’t evoke that sense of fun and joy to be shared with others. It’s more of a solitary experience. It really highlights the constrast in philosophy between the major gaming companies
Gotta give Nintendo credit..they’ve really nailed down how to spotlight and market their games. They’ve really mastered generating hype without the need to overhype their software by giving you just enough of a tease without spoiling things. It’s quite remarkable how they’ve transitioned from all the praise and hype of AAA 3D title like TOTK to a 2D side scrolling Mario game with an evolved gameplay formula that’s old and familiar but so refreshingly new at the same time.
@Clammy If you actually read the headline it specifically refers to a deadline during the prototyping phase. They simply wanted to maximize creativity prior to the game entering full development stage. Obviously the game has a release date deadline like any games in development. Except for Metroid Prime 4 of course 😉
An impressive feat and without any price drops! I was impressed with the Xbox 360 sales then I realized how many ppl got the dreaded Red Ring Of Death..so lots of resale through faulty hardware. PS2 was known mainly for its DVD capabilities, easy to pirate and it too had its own faulty disc drives so its sales numbers are a bit skewed as well. The joy con drift issues were criminal but I’ll give Nintendo credit their actual hardware systems are the most reliable of the big 3
@LikelySatan I’m really enjoying my time with The Messenger. I’m a bit surprised Nintendo hasn’t incorporated the switch in aesthetics idea in more if it’s games. Mario Odyssey comes to mind with the retro levels sprinkled in. Would be a cool concept for a Zelda title like Ocarina of time, when Link would time travel the graphics would adjust. Nintendo could do jumps going back to 8 bit for many of its series. Lots of cool gameplay/puzzle possibilities. My backlog could always use more Ninja games, I’ll have to check those titles out!!

Re: Sea Of Stars Has Reached More Than 4 Million Players In 4 Months
Such an interesting game this year, it’s received high praise but I’ve seen quite a few gamers who didn’t enjoy this game much at all. Interesting to see such positive reviews met with some ho hum reviews from the gamers
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 16th)
Re: Nintendo Switch "Lifetime US Unit Sales" Surpass Xbox 360
@Ryu_Niiyama
Re: Nintendo Switch "Lifetime US Unit Sales" Surpass Xbox 360
@HalBailman

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 18th)
@NintendoDad
Hollow Knight sat in my backlog for years so I hear ya!
@Zuljaras
I want a physical copy of Hollow Knight now! Please post your address 😝
@Qwiff
I almost forgot I have Dredge in the backlog as well! Good to hear you’re enjoying it thus far. I’m going to go in blind!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 18th)
Happy gaming! Happy weekend!
Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way
@kryz
Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way
@Duncanballs
Indeed, more often than not their “gimmicks” become innovations.
Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way
RIP Nintendo!
Re: SanDisk Launches Mighty 1.5TB Micro SD Card Compatible With Nintendo Switch
I purchased a 1TB card a few months back for like $40. Took like 2 days to download all my titles 😂 I still have around 150GB left and it’s super convenient to have access to all my games now.
@Meloman
Staying at 128 GB is impressive! I was surprised with how quickly I was running out of space with 512GB but considering the sheer size of the Switch’s library I shouldn’t be surprised
Re: Review: Dave The Diver - One Of The Best Games In A Year Of Greats
2023 has been a great year for gaming. I think ppl might be feeling burnt out or underwhelmed because of the sheer amount of over exposure these games receive in the media. Ppl are obsessing daily over these games the minute they’re announced. By the time u actually get to play the game, you’ve already seen all the trailers the previews and final
Preview write ups. There’s the technological tear downs and comparison videos. There are few surprises in gaming these days because some data miner has already leaked them. You’re paying more for video games but gamers are experiencing more fatigue just due to sheer overhype and exposure.
Re: Unity's CEO And President Retires After Policy Debacle
@awaltzforvenus
Yes that’s exactly what the scumbag did. He knew the move wasn’t going to be well received, so he cashed out just before it hit the fan. Now the damage done to the Unity brand reputation is irreversible. And Now he’s cashing out again with a retirement package. For shame!
Re: Internal Xbox Email Details Desire To Acquire Nintendo

Re: F-ZERO 99 Turns The Classic Racer Into A 99-Player Battle Royale, On NSO Today
@LadyCharlie
Re: Nintendo Direct September 2023: Time, Where To Watch, Our Predictions
@johnedwin
Re: Nintendo Direct September 2023: Time, Where To Watch, Our Predictions
@johnedwin
Re: Nintendo Direct September 2023: Time, Where To Watch, Our Predictions
@LikelySatan
Re: Nintendo Direct September 2023: Time, Where To Watch, Our Predictions
A Nintendo Direct and now a PlayStation State of Play announced for the same day! I can’t blame Sony for wanting to take some media attention away from Nintendo. What’s interesting is how Nintendo Directs can still generate such high levels of hype, especially at the end of Switch’s life cycle whereas these State of Play announcements usually lead to disappointment. It’s going to be hard for MS/Sony to generate momentum for their current systems with an impending new Nintendo console on the horizon.
Re: New Nintendo Joystick Patent Could Spell The End For Future Drift Issues
@Gryffin
As much as I miss Iwata the same way , I don’t think Nintendo innovation lived and died with him.
Re: Unity To Charge Developers A Fee Each Time A Game Is Installed Next Year
The Unity CEO is the former CEO from EA. This move should surprise no one!
Re: New Nintendo Joystick Patent Could Spell The End For Future Drift Issues
I’ve been saying how no one has been talking about what Nintendo might do in the controller space with the Switch successor. An evolved joy con seems logical but they could go a different route and once again revolutionize the gaming controller. All these rumours about power are interesting but we all know it’s never just about power with Nintendo
Re: Nintendo Reportedly Showed 'Switch 2' Demos To Developers At Gamescom
Surprisingly no one is considering the controllers for the Switch successor. Will they simply evolve the joy con and solve the drift issue or will they introduce a completely new type of controller? Nintendo never focuses solely on power for their consoles, I’m not surprised if the controller(s) are the true next gen innovation of Switch 2
Re: New Interview With Zelda Boss Suggests There Are No Plans For TOTK DLC
I absolutely applaud Nintendo for this. This is how it should be, you ship a complete game! We’ve gotten complacent as gamers, paying full price for incomplete games with bugs or missing content. They already raised the price on TOTK and I really appreciate them not trying to take advantage of the cash grab that DLC can be. Seriously though how much more could DLC really offer this game , it’s already a masterpiece! They could have made a fortune off TOTK DLC but it’s smarter to allocate those dev teams and ressources and invest the time and money into something else at this point. Props Nintendo!
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Has Already Topped Amazon's "Best Sellers" Chart In The US
@Doomcrow
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Has Already Topped Amazon's "Best Sellers" Chart In The US
@Jey887
I honestly think the other companies just haven’t quite figured it out.
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Has Already Topped Amazon's "Best Sellers" Chart In The US
Gotta give Nintendo credit..they’ve really nailed down how to spotlight and market their games.
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Had No Deadline During Its Prototype Phase
@Clammy
If you actually read the headline it specifically refers to a deadline during the prototyping phase. They simply wanted to maximize creativity prior to the game entering full development stage. Obviously the game has a release date deadline like any games in development. Except for Metroid Prime 4 of course 😉
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Surpassed The Wii's Lifetime Sales In The US
An impressive feat and without any price drops!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 19th)
@LikelySatan
I’m really enjoying my time with The Messenger.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 19th)
@Thisdamian
Red Dead Redemption on a handheld Nintendo console and Baldurs Gate 3 on the handheld that is the Steam Deck! What a time to be gaming!
