On a side note I won my fantasy football league …with a big payout so it’s been a nice way to start the year !! 😝 🏈 💰

This sounds exhausting. Why are ppl choosing to do this to themselves? I get it’s fun to guesstimate on specs and features prior to a new console release but in the end these spec details don’t really matter. When playing a great or even your favorite games no one is thinking about 3nm or 5nm anything, you don’t play games because of teraflops…think about it, you don’t even replay a game for its graphics. There’s a lot of room for unnecessary disappointment when you start believing every rumour, when it comes to Nintendo tech it’s always smarter to temper your expectations. Besides, features like DLSS will never define a gaming console, the games do and always will.
I’ve somehow fallen back into Monster Hunter Rise. I’m currently grinding through Anomaly Investigations before I take on Amatsu. Still have quite the backlog to clear but I’ve been wanting to replay Astral Chain, really hope it gets a sequel on Switch Deux. Shout to Nile Bowie for picking up KILL KNIGHT, one of my underrated games of 2024.
On Xbox series X still playing thru Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, just started Stalker 2 and Nine Sols, will get back to COD 6. Man…that’s quite a bit of Xbox gaming! Finally seeing this gen hit its stride.
It would be pretty interesting revisiting the history of the WAYP section throughout the Switch’s life cycle. 2025 will be the year of the Switch 2!…it will also be the year we start hearing about Switch 3 😝!!

Lemon Haze…I just picture a smiling lemon wearing sunglasses! That’s how it hits! You can not go wrong with Runtz! Great choices and sounds like ur getting nice value! 😮💨
The Backlog Beatdown continues..I’ve completed some fairly difficult games of late. Most recently I just completed Cuphead and the DLC. I’ve finally started up Outer Worlds and I’ve been really enjoying it, not difficult but just a lot of fun and It’s been patched on Switch and the game runs quite well now.
@PepperMintRex Ah …finally someone brave enough to test the layers below Hell in KILL KNIGHT It’s quite the game! It’s an hard!..but addicting! I’m trying to survive Viscera at the moment 😬
@Yalloo If KILL KNIGHT is calling you..make sure to return the call! It’s an excellent twin stick arcade shooter. It will really call on all your years of gaming experience and reflexes to master. It’s a challenging game so be prepared. The game has that “just one more run” pedigree in its gameplay. It’s brutal but lots of fun! Easily one of the best twin sticks around.
Been purging out some of the Backlog. Recently completed Cuphead, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, Deaths Door , Prince of Persia and IT take TWO with the wifey! I’m sure I’ll finally dabble in some more Cuphead and Prince of Persia DLC. I’ve got my physical copy of Marvel vs Capcom that pre order bonus little comic book insert smelled like fresh ink but dank at the same time 😂. No idea what I’ll play next , might shop some Black Friday deals to feed the Backlog of course!
@OorWullie
Of all the genres in gaming …Turned based rpgs is my biggest gaming shame. Never could get into them! I’m sure I’m missing out on some of gamings best but just haven’t found the game that converts me. Ironically I’m hoping Fire Emblem:Awakening on 3DS will take my turn based “V card” if ya know what I mean 😝. Never in my life have I played a Dragon Quest game though …for shame!
Strains on deck: Miracle Alien Cookies. LA Kush Cake and some Peach OG 😮💨🫠
One of my mysteries in gaming is never completing the Prime Trilogy. Prime 1…one of my all time favs. I remember only briefly trying 2 and not really enjoying it but I never gave it a proper go. Ironically a couple months ago a found my copy of Metroid Prime 3 still it’s plastic wrap! No idea why I never played it, was super cool looking at the instruction manual and old Nintendo club inserts 😂. Im assuming 2 and 3 get that remaster treatment before Prime 4. Might just fire up the Wii U this weekend
Was always a bit confused about why this franchise was getting the LEGO treatment. Is the franchise not a more Mature themed series? Are kids asking for this? Do they even know what Horizon is? Just seems like there are so many other franchises to cross over, Horizons would be way down on that list IMO. This could be Sony trying to make the PlayStation brand more family friendly with Astro Bot in tow. I don’t think it’s going to work though
@cosmograph Indeed, I was aware of the authors stance on the dictator that is Putin. The game is so bleak and depressing it’s seems something a person as heartless as Putin would enjoy. That was the joke
I just rolled the credits on Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon ! An amazing and brilliant game, really hadn’t played anything quite like it before. An underrated gem. It deserved a better review NL 😝!! It’s got me thinking about replaying the Bayonetta trilogy.
I also finished Death’s Door another really great game! Now I just need to figure out what to play next from the Backlog. I still have Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to play but it hasn’t even been unwrapped yet. I also found original copies of Mass Effect 3 (Wii U) and Metroid Prime 3 all still unwrapped so my backlog is going back generations now!…not to mention 2 never before opened special edition 2DS. Interested to know what these are selling for these days.
Still killing and getting killed in KILL KNIGHT It’s perfect for in between games and playing in short spurts.
On Xbox Series X I’ve been really enjoying playing thru COD 6 and MW2. Might give Mech Warrior 5 a try on Gamepass, and shout out to @Ganner as I might even try out Snowrunner…u know with winter coming up and all 😝
@OorWullie I could see Putin enjoying the Metro 2033 series but yeah it’s a bit past its shelf life. Don’t blame u for dropping the game, likely why I never bothered with the Last Light sequel.
@Athropos DUSK a great game! I was tempted to jump back in this past Halloween.
Strains on Deck: Critical Diesel, LA Kush Cake and Girl Scout Cookies (been awhile!) 🥴
Sure I’m the only one playing it but I still firmly believe KILL KNIGHT deserves more attention. It’s a very well done twin stick shooter and there aren’t many of those around, let alone of this quality. Its difficulty will put off the average gamer but for that core , arcade score chasing gamer looking to challenge their gaming skills? It’s a superb choice.
@Freek Astral Ascent!! It’s in my backlog just staring at me. Great to hear you’re enjoying your play through. There was another gamer on here who gave it a similar glowing review. I didn’t even know it had a physical release! I only just found out it has a co op feature included , looking forward to it!
@GregamanX I recently purchased Oxenfree II on sale as well so nice to hear it’s a great value purchase. Pizza Tower is another game in the backlog but I’m glad to hear it’s worth a play through even though it’s been haunting u! 😝 Your avatar reminds me I need to play Night in the Woods at some point! It also reminds me that…I need an avatar! 😮
I’ve recently completed Death’s Door and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and have been playing the surprisingly delightful Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon as well as just started Neon White which has been a unique experience thus far. My one constant this past month has been KILL KNIGHT…it’s a hard game but pure twin stick bliss!
On Xbox Series X
I’ve slowly gotten back into COD with the recently released Black Ops 6, been awhile since I’d played the franchise but this new game has been great.
Have it on Wii U, it was my 1st Xenoblade game. I never did finish it but the Mech mechanics were pretty dope. It’s a cool game, I don’t believe I ever fully grasped all of the mechanics of the game, don’t think I’ll be double dipping but happy it’s seeing a re-release.
Legit just finished The Lost Crown a couple days ago, it’s an amazing game!Easy GOTY! I’ll get the DLC for sure. Sad news for sure, pretty sad seeing how far Ubisoft has fallen from grace, they still do make good games. Nintendo entering a business partnership with Ubisoft would make sense, they’ve worked well together in the past and those Ubisoft assets could get put to use for Nintendo, expand their scope of games with the Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, AC, Watch Dogs franchises could help boost Nintendo’s portfolio of more mature themed games. We all know they’d continue on with the Rabbids…
@OorWullie Exactly. You don’t release things publicly to keep them secret. Nintendo knew this would go viral instantly. It’s ironic because the mistrust is actually the trust in this case. Nintendo knew they couldn’t trust its users to keep this a secret BUT…they could trust them to leak it. 💯 guaranteed to leak, and now look at all the attention it’s receiving on a slow Monday.
Finally a review! This is a great game, it’s brutal but so satisfyingly addicting. It’s perfect for being played in short bursts but there’s quite a meaty game to master within the gameplay mechanics. If it sounds remotely up your tree, do not hesitate. It’s an easy recommendation and one of my favs of 2024.
I’m still enjoying playing through Prince of Persia:The Lost Crown, it’s providing a nice challenge. Still in my GOTY contention.
KILL KNIGHT This game! Feels like I’m still the only one playing this absolute gem. Once the mechanics “click” with you it is hard to stop. It’s really turning into a sublime twin stick experience. It’s brutal but so much fun chasing scores and mastering the gameplay each run. Didn’t see it coming but it’s a GOTY contender.
On Xbox Series X I’m thinking of getting back to Dying Light 2, October is fitting for a game like this.
Strains on deck 🥴 God’s Green Crack (the name ain’t lying! 😂) Peach OG LA Kush Cake Jealousy
Happy gaming to u all! Happy Thanksgiving weekend if your in Canada!
Awesome news, not sure if they tie it in with Romulus or just extend that cliffhanger ending of Alien Isolation? Either way let’s hope they take their time and create something special and not just some shoddy money grab sequel
@RaptorRed KILL KNIGHT indeed. There’s no one playing this awesome game but us it seems. Great twin stick shooter, with deep gameplay elements and an addictive gameplay loop. This game is absolutely being slept on
@Antraxx777 I do believe Ubisoft does hold Nintendo in the highest regard if Nintendo were to make a bid they might have the advantage just out of sheer respect. Not a typical Nintendo move to spend $ on developer acquisitions but there are some great assets at Ubisoft to be had. Ubisoft as a 2nd party partner would be interesting, lots of Rabbids exclusives but they’d cook up some new stuff together. I think Big N could do a franchise such as Beyond Good and Evil some good. Splinter Cell, Assasins Creed etc..on Nintendo consoles are welcome!
Playing: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Such a great game, I’m only about 35% thru but it’s definitely a banger!
KILL KNIGHT!!! I must be the only one playing this gem. If you like Twin Stick Shooters, u owe it to yourself to play this game. It’s brutal, challenging but really fun and addicting , it’s not even on the weekend poll it’s that slept on, it runs great on Switch too!
On Series X: Now that I’m done with Dead Space Remake time to get back to RDR2 and October seems like a good time to start Elden Ring or Dying Light 2 up again.
Recent Switch Purchases: KILL KNIGHT Astral Ascent Pizza Tower Ace Combat 7 Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2
Strains on Deck🥴 Fruit Loopz Death Bubba Organic Comatose Permanent Marker
@OorWullie KILL KNIGHT might just be up your alley! Stardew Valley I’ve had it for years, still haven’t played it. The legs on this game are insane the way ppl continue to talk about the experience , at some point I will have to give this game a proper chance!
Nintendo should consider making an offer; they’ve worked well in the past together and Ubisoft typically always supports Nintendo consoles, not likely but would be a bit of a coup to sweep in while they’re undervalued.
I’d always held a mild curiosity about those games. Totally not something I’d typically play but the concept , somehow seems engaging. Not sure I’ll ever give it a try but by your admission this is some digital crack. Always nice when you can discover new genres in gaming!
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown does come with the highest of recommendations. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this game. It’s a shame the Ubisoft brand has fallen on such hard times. This game deserves support, I was happy to get a physical copy on the cheap. It’s an easy GOTY contender. I completely forgot the DLC just launched…haven’t even finished the game but I know I’ll buy the DLC as well!
I did copp Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom but I won’t be playing it right away.
Rolled credits on Dead Space Remake (XSX) and Ori and The Will of the Wisps the other week.
Playing Prince of Persia:The Lost Crown and it has been excellent so far. Dope Metroidvania that stands on its own.
Still playing thru runs of The Stanley Parable…still have no idea what’s really going on 😂
@OorWullie Alien Isolation is an awesome game. That tense atmosphere and experience…don’t know if I’ve ever crouched so much in a game 😂 . Those Working Joe’s need to be patched ASAP! With October coming up I should get back into a horror game, I haven’t completed all the DLC so might have to boot it back up! That ending though…
This is actually quite an interesting statement. Having partnered with Nvidia since the Switch I’d imagine Nintendo has had the opportunity to explore AI and its possibilities. They will likely use it to better read and incorporate consumer and gaming data, a game like Animal Crossing could use it to better map islands, evolve NPC interactions and yes unlock Skynet !😂 Anyway I think Miyamoto is hinting at its gameplay potential. Perhaps they build a game that evolves with the player, even the Bosses could adapt their behavior over time ..? Who knows!?…but they will find an intuitive way to incorporate AI into gaming whether ppl agree with AI or not.
Still have my Wii U copy! It’s a unique game with potential for a sequel or spin off. I guess it bodes well for the franchise future if PlatinumGames is still pursuing trademark rights, could be a nice potential Switch Deux release!
Truly dope. I’m currently playing this game. Went in completely blind and I’m so glad I did. It’s definitely an experience and I haven’t even “completed” it…perhaps the end is never the end the end is never the end is never the end…🤪
It’s kind of funny to think Nintendo is now recognized almost equally for its gaming and litigation prowess. They need to drop “Mario’s Court Odyssey” asap. Have lawyer Mario in a full suit stomping on corporate baddies infringing on IPs! A perfect Switch 2 launch title.
I just rolled the credits on Ori and the Will of the Wisps ! An amazing game, great series! If only Xbox could find a way to return to relevancy again! 😝
Thinking of starting Prince of Persia next, we’ll see what the backlog beckons. Will also mess around with some Splatoon 3 …Go Team Past!! Cuz I’m a sucker for nostalgia
On Series X I ran into a game ending bug in Dead Space remake so I had to start an earlier save. Frustrating times in the 1st World!
Will continue playing thru Mafia and COD MW3 and at some point I should give Elden Ring a legit go.
Strains on deck Red Congo, MAC , Peach OG , Comatose and LA Kush Cake 😮💨🥴
Switch Ori and the Will of the Wisps-Such a dope game! Nier Automata The Stanley Parable The game that plays you! Splatoon 3 BIG RUN!!! Already more than halfway to that 700m target!
On Xbox Series X Dead Space Remake I’ve finally maxed out my suit and weapons. I’m mowing down Necromorphs and loving it! This reminds me I also need to mow my lawn! 😝
Mafia 1st time playing the series and it’s great so far.
Call of Duty It’s been years since I played but have to admit it’s still a fun series. Will be pretty sweet on Switch Deux 😉
It Take Two Wifey really adores the game and the kids enjoy watching our relationship transfer into a video game. Gem of a game!
Recent Purchase$ Ace Combat 7 I bit after the sale, have yet to play it though.
Pizza Tower The animations are incredible, it’s a very fluid and frantic game. Haven’t fully grasped the gameplay but can def see the potential here
Strains on deck 🥴 Donegal (been a long time!), Jealousy, LA Kush Cake and Death Bubba 💀 !!
Quick side note… I do find it funny with the launch of Astro Bot on PS5…the irony of them embracing a more colourful , whimsical and cutesey artstyle…a “kiddie game” as their mascot! All the while Nintendo used to get panned and written off for its creative and colourful “kiddie game” approach. 😂
@AmplifyMJ
I remember Nintendo projecting a 10 year Switch lifespan and thinking they were being way too overly optimistic about the Switch. Here we are heading into year 8…not only still eating good but still serving us a new Zelda title…only 1 year removed from TOTK!..with room still for a full course of MP4 next year and everything in between. All appetizers for Switch Deux of course!
Had to give the Wii U some love, my Gamepad is still in excellent condition so I’ve been revisiting the catalog. It’s an underrated system, somehow I had copies of Mass Effect 3 and Metroid Prime 3 unwrapped in their original copies. I might just have to replay the Metroid Prime Trilogy …still can’t believe they had it on sale for $9 at one time!
On Switch I’ve been having fun with Ori and the Will of the Wisps it’s a superb game. I’ve been loving playing Untitled Goose Game with my daughter, and I’ve recently started the The Stanley Parable Ultra Edition..yeah that game that is….special 😳. Travis Strikes Again-No More Heroes has finally been started and I’m really enjoying it. I always wonder what mix of drugs Suda takes to come up with these games 🤔 I’ll check out the Blockbuster Sale on the Eshop as well
3DS even got dusted off ..I started Ace Attorney Trilogy for the very 1st time, it’s great! I’m thinking about also trying Fire Emblem for the 1st time
On XSX …been playing It Takes Two with wifey…such a great game! It really is a couples therapy session 😂. Dead Space Remake and * Mafia* are in rotation as well.
Strains on deck…have some really nice LA Kush Cake, Critical Diesel, Stinky Pinky 😝 and to close out summer and this Labour Day long weekend some classic Pineapple Express 🍍 🫠
Sad to hear about Johnny Gaudreau passing away! Don’t wait for bad news, a funeral or pressing times to hug your loved ones a lil’ tighter….just do it everyday!!!
Exact same experience for me. I gave it an honest try for a solid 5hrs and found the game to be boring, monochromatic and ultimately not for me. I gave it another proper go and it’s now one of my all time favs. It might not be for u in the end but I was one who went from hating the game to absolutely loving it. It is a masterpiece.
It’s one of those gem games I’ve come across that seems to have that common hook…if you just push thru a bit at the beginning the experience will continually reward u. I wear the “Path Of Pain” like a badge of gaming honour!
Clearly not the Direct ppl are awaiting however the fact Nintendo has their own museum is a statement in itself! While studios are being shuttered and major Devs are laying off employees almost weekly…here comes Nintendo opening their own museum to celebrate its illustrious gaming history! Now if anything , we know this will be a museum like no other. Nintendo has an opportunity to redefine the museum experience, that alone is worth tuning in for me.
It would be pretty cool if they do a Switch 2 reveal from within the museum next year!…a shadow drop for an interactive tour of the museum would be a savvy move Nintendo. “Nintendo Museum app is available today!”
Switch: I’ve been playing Untitled Goose Game with the kids and we’ve been having a good time with it. I’ll continue my play through of Nier:Automata..I’ve only recently unlocked ending A. My backlog is still undefeated and growing, I’m pretty amazed at the number of games I’ve purchased for the Switch, it’s been a good run!
Xbox Series X: I’ve been taking advantage of Gamepass and have been playing more on this system. I did recently purchase a memory expansion so no more juggling games for space. Still playing through Dead Space Remake , I can’t believe it but I’m back to playing COD with MW3 recently released, I’m having a good time with it.
@Lightsiyd
I recently purchased Astral Ascent but have yet to give it a go! Glad to hear such a glowing review! Hades is an all time classic so putting it up there is a big compliment to the game. I’m looking forward to trying it out now. I was a bit skeptical soon as I hit purchase 😆
Strains on deck: MAC and some classic Blue Dream, Comatose and Death Bubba 😮💨🥴

Insane value. This is a AAA Metroidvania, one of the best ever and a GOTY contender . You’ve spent more on pure Eshop fodder.

No idea what I’ll play next , might shop some Black Friday deals to feed the Backlog of course!
@OorWullie
Happy Gaming!!!
Re: Anniversary: 20 Years On, Metroid Prime 2 Represents The Franchise At Its Experimental Best
Re: Review: LEGO Horizon Adventures (Switch) - A Beautiful But Basic Build Of Sony's Series
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (9th November)
@cosmograph
Indeed, I was aware of the authors stance on the dictator that is Putin. The game is so bleak and depressing it’s seems something a person as heartless as Putin would enjoy. That was the joke
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (9th November)
On Xbox Series X
I’ve been really enjoying playing thru COD 6 and MW2. Might give Mech Warrior 5 a try on Gamepass, and shout out to @Ganner as I might even try out Snowrunner…u know with winter coming up and all 😝
@OorWullie
I could see Putin enjoying the Metro 2033 series but yeah it’s a bit past its shelf life. Don’t blame u for dropping the game, likely why I never bothered with the Last Light sequel.
@Athropos
DUSK a great game! I was tempted to jump back in this past Halloween.
Strains on Deck:
Critical Diesel, LA Kush Cake and Girl Scout Cookies (been awhile!) 🥴
Enjoy the weekend!
Happy gaming!
Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects & Readers' Choice (October 2024)
Sure I’m the only one playing it but I still firmly believe KILL KNIGHT deserves more attention. It’s a very well done twin stick shooter and there aren’t many of those around, let alone of this quality. Its difficulty will put off the average gamer but for that core , arcade score chasing gamer looking to challenge their gaming skills? It’s a superb choice.
Re: Random: Yes, Doom Is Now Playable On Nintendo Alarmo
@Duncanballs
Crysis? No! Chronos? Yes!!
Re: Random: Yes, Doom Is Now Playable On Nintendo Alarmo
@OorWullie
I reckon you could run with Doomsday Clock in the tagline …? Or….Hell of a Time!/Helluva Time! ?😝
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (2nd November)
@Freek
Astral Ascent!! It’s in my backlog just staring at me. Great to hear you’re enjoying your play through. There was another gamer on here who gave it a similar glowing review. I didn’t even know it had a physical release! I only just found out it has a co op feature included , looking forward to it!
@GregamanX
I recently purchased Oxenfree II on sale as well so nice to hear it’s a great value purchase. Pizza Tower is another game in the backlog but I’m glad to hear it’s worth a play through even though it’s been haunting u! 😝 Your avatar reminds me I need to play Night in the Woods at some point! It also reminds me that…I need an avatar! 😮
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (2nd November)
Happy and joyful weekends to all!
Re: Nintendo Music's Next Batch Of Tracks Will Arrive Next Week
@JJsNeighborhood
Kindest of thanks!!
Re: Nintendo Music's Next Batch Of Tracks Will Arrive Next Week
Stay Tuned!!! …should’ve been the tagline 😝
Re: So, Will You Be Getting Xenoblade Chronicles X For Switch?
Have it on Wii U, it was my 1st Xenoblade game. I never did finish it but the Mech mechanics were pretty dope. It’s a cool game, I don’t believe I ever fully grasped all of the mechanics of the game, don’t think I’ll be double dipping but happy it’s seeing a re-release.
Re: Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown Dev Team Reportedly Disbanded By Ubisoft
Re: As Expected, Nintendo Is Struggling To Contain Switch Online Playtest Leaks
@OorWullie
Exactly.
Re: Review: Kill Knight (Switch) - Relentless Bullet Hell Is Rippingly Difficult But Bloody Satisfying
@WhiteTrashGuy
Once you get there, you are going to love this game
Re: Review: Kill Knight (Switch) - Relentless Bullet Hell Is Rippingly Difficult But Bloody Satisfying
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (12th October)
I’m still enjoying playing through Prince of Persia:The Lost Crown, it’s providing a nice challenge. Still in my GOTY contention.
KILL KNIGHT
This game!
Strains on deck 🥴
God’s Green Crack (the name ain’t lying! 😂)
Peach OG
LA Kush Cake
Jealousy
Happy gaming to u all! Happy Thanksgiving weekend if your in Canada!
@Burning_Spear
We are sending help!! 😂
Re: An Alien: Isolation Sequel Is Officially In Development
Awesome news, not sure if they tie it in with Romulus or just extend that cliffhanger ending of Alien Isolation? Either way let’s hope they take their time and create something special and not just some shoddy money grab sequel
Re: Community: Did We Miss A Switch Game You Love? Send Us Your Recommendations
@RaptorRed
KILL KNIGHT indeed. There’s no one playing this awesome game but us it seems. Great twin stick shooter, with deep gameplay elements and an addictive gameplay loop. This game is absolutely being slept on
Re: Ubisoft's Disastrous 2024 May Lead To The Company Going Private
@Antraxx777
I do believe Ubisoft does hold Nintendo in the highest regard if Nintendo were to make a bid they might have the advantage just out of sheer respect.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (5th October)
Playing:
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Such a great game, I’m only about 35% thru but it’s definitely a banger!
On Series X:
Now that I’m done with Dead Space Remake time to get back to RDR2 and October seems like a good time to start Elden Ring or Dying Light 2 up again.
Recent Switch Purchases:
KILL KNIGHT
Astral Ascent
Pizza Tower
Ace Combat 7
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2
Strains on Deck🥴
Fruit Loopz
Death Bubba
Organic Comatose
Permanent Marker
@OorWullie
KILL KNIGHT might just be up your alley!
Stardew Valley I’ve had it for years, still haven’t played it. The legs on this game are insane the way ppl continue to talk about the experience , at some point I will have to give this game a proper chance!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Re: Ubisoft's Disastrous 2024 May Lead To The Company Going Private
Nintendo should consider making an offer; they’ve worked well in the past together and Ubisoft typically always supports Nintendo consoles, not likely but would be a bit of a coup to sweep in while they’re undervalued.
Re: Nintendo Download: 3rd October (North America)
Oh wow didn’t realize KILL KNIGHT was releasing on Switch. If performance holds up then I’ll get it for sure
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (28th September)
@Ganner
I’d always held a mild curiosity about those games. Totally not something I’d typically play but the concept , somehow seems engaging. Not sure I’ll ever give it a try but by your admission this is some digital crack. Always nice when you can discover new genres in gaming!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (28th September)
@the_beaver
Cheers!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (28th September)
Still playing thru runs of The Stanley Parable…still have no idea what’s really going on 😂
@OorWullie
Alien Isolation is an awesome game. That tense atmosphere and experience…don’t know if I’ve ever crouched so much in a game 😂 . Those Working Joe’s need to be patched ASAP! With October coming up I should get back into a horror game, I haven’t completed all the DLC so might have to boot it back up! That ending though…
Re: Nintendo To Go In 'Different Direction' To Current AI Trends, Says Miyamoto
Re: PlatinumGames Gains 'The Wonderful 101' Trademark From Nintendo
Still have my Wii U copy! It’s a unique game with potential for a sequel or spin off. I guess it bodes well for the franchise future if PlatinumGames is still pursuing trademark rights, could be a nice potential Switch Deux release!
Re: Feature: As 'The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe' Goes Physical, William Pugh Talks Buttons, Buckets & Banjo
Truly dope. I’m currently playing this game. Went in completely blind and I’m so glad I did. It’s definitely an experience and I haven’t even “completed” it…perhaps the end is never the end the end is never the end is never the end…🤪
Re: Palworld Developer Responds To Nintendo Lawsuit
It’s kind of funny to think Nintendo is now recognized almost equally for its gaming and litigation prowess. They need to drop “Mario’s Court Odyssey” asap. Have lawyer Mario in a full suit stomping on corporate baddies infringing on IPs! A perfect Switch 2 launch title.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th September)
On Series X
I ran into a game ending bug in Dead Space remake so I had to start an earlier save. Frustrating times in the 1st World!
Will continue playing thru Mafia and COD MW3 and at some point I should give Elden Ring a legit go.
Strains on deck
Red Congo, MAC , Peach OG , Comatose and LA Kush Cake 😮💨🥴
Have a great weekend!
Happy gaming!
Re: Does Astro Bot's Super Mario 'Inspiration' Cross A Line? Fans Seem Divided
I’ll pretty much guarantee Sony will try and capitalize off their newest mascot with an animated film of its own in no time.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th September)
Switch
Ori and the Will of the Wisps-Such a dope game!
Nier Automata
The Stanley Parable The game that plays you!
Splatoon 3 BIG RUN!!! Already more than halfway to that 700m target!
On Xbox Series X
Dead Space Remake I’ve finally maxed out my suit and weapons.
Recent Purchase$
Ace Combat 7 I bit after the sale, have yet to play it though.
Pizza Tower The animations are incredible, it’s a very fluid and frantic game. Haven’t fully grasped the gameplay but can def see the potential here
Strains on deck 🥴
Donegal (been a long time!), Jealousy, LA Kush Cake and Death Bubba 💀 !!
Quick side note…
I do find it funny with the launch of Astro Bot on PS5…the irony of them embracing a more colourful , whimsical and cutesey artstyle…a “kiddie game” as their mascot! All the while Nintendo used to get panned and written off for its creative and colourful “kiddie game” approach. 😂
Have a great weekend!
Re: Video: 16 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In September 2024
@AmplifyMJ
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (31st August)
Wish you all happy a weekend!
Happy Gaming!!!
Re: No, Hollow Knight: Silksong Won't Be At Gamescom Opening Night Live
@Arkay @Lightsiyd @ManaOwls @Snatcher
Re: Nintendo Announces 'Nintendo Museum Direct'
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd August)
@Lightsiyd
Have a great weekend! Happy gaming!
