I just bought Runny Egg because something about the gameplay reminds me of old school Sonic. Plus, egg puns. Also the delicious egg puns.

Would pick up Tomodachi Life too but I'm just short of a few dollars and really can't afford to load up $10 into the eshop right now.

I didn't watch the Direct since I was knee deep in paper (which I may or may not get credit for grumblegrumble) but the news met my expectations and even had some pleasant surprises like Fatal Frame and SMTxFE bringing bought back from the undead. Also Inkling amiibo hecks yes.

So I'd say it was a good one. A bit more than I expected in what will likely be their last direct to announce before E3.

Welp, guess I'm not missing out on anything by skipping this then. Being able to choose what you want to do each day without any specific tasks to worry about and the dating system based on conversation/gifts is what I loved about Harvest Moon DS (the only one in the series I've played). So this game doesn't sound like it's for me at all.

Looking forward to Story of Seasons next week.

Great week! My wallet doesn't agree though. lol

Getting the Phoenix Wright trilogy for sure, 3D Outrun, and Mighty Switch Force. I might get Dual Destinies too later on when I have a bit more cash. Not sure about Shantae and STEAM as they don't seem like games I'll get around to playing anytime soon.

@Windy

All the songs are the original Japanese release, they just have subtitles at the bottom.

@DinoFett

Eh I'm fine with where her US popularity is at right now. As long as she's popular enough to hold concerts, conventions, and have more of her music showing up on digital stores and the games localized then that's all I can ask for as a fan. Most of the appeal of vocaloid is the large user generated community, when the software catches on in the States is when I reckon we might start seeing some significant spike in popularity.

Agreed, I was just thinking the same reading this. As nice as it is to hear the Shovel Knight and Gunman Clive type stories it really doesn't paint an accurate picture of what typically happens in this arena. Hope is good, but it has to go down with a much larger dosage of reality.

Shame because this looks like a charming game. Maybe Nintendo will feature it in an indie spot during their next direct.
