If you're a Style Savvy fan (or New Style Boutique, depending on where you happen to reside) then you'll be glad to hear that Girls Mode 3: Kira Kira Code will soon be out in Japan - on April 16th, 2015 to be exact. In case you've never heard of the name, Girls Mode is the Japanese title for Style Savvy.
Today the official website for the franchise saw an awesome announcement with brand new information that will also excite amiibo fans. Not only can you now receive 19,000 different types of clothing and accessories for the game, you will also be able to unlock special items by using your amiibo figures.
You can use all of the figures from the amiibo series to unlock various items, but Mario, Peach, Yoshi and Kirby will unlock unique accessories - including Mario's stylish hat. Fabulous, darling.
So far we haven't heard anything about Girls Mode 3 coming to Europe or North America - where it would presumably fall under the Style Savvy/New Style Boutique monikers - but we'll let you know as soon as we receive any more information.

I don't care about this game but I like how they implemented amiibo.
I am a proud Girls Mode/Style Savvy fan who, if he played more FPSes, would be the exact opposite of this game's expected audience. I hope I get the chance to walk into GameStop and announce that I'm picking up this preorder. For me.
My little sister loved Style Savvy. She has enough taste to not be into poorly made fashion games, but this one looked alright. I'll have to point this out to her later. It is too bad that there isn't a unique outfit for more of the amiibo though. Just four isn't very many. A small complaint though.
Great amiibo implementation indeed! Let's hope other games take the hint.
I've heard these games are strangely entertaining for their premise. Maybe I'll check it out if it comes stateside.
I mean, I've heard enough people "admitting" how much time they've clocked into it, so why not give it a shot.
Very good! ^.^
Ok, Only left that this game come soon, including this amiibo usage.
Now I REALLY hope they release it in Australia (unabashed male Style Boutique fan here). =P
If it's like $2-$5 it might be barely make it on my 'Games I want to Buy' list. But only if the Amiibo Adapter exists by then.
Erm... great?
I heard about this last night. I was gonna get it no matter what, but this definitely has me even more excited for it. I really hope it gets announced outside of Japan soon. It's sad though that so many people don't really care about Style Savvy. I honestly can't praise the series enough. Seriously you guys don't realize what you're missing out on.
I think I picked up the previous one cheap for my daughter, not sure if she had actually played it yet. However, she will probably be excited by this.
And considering all the male fans, I'm tempted to have a go myself.
I really really hope they update those of us outside of the Japan. I enjoyed this version so much. I'm still waiting for the previous update.
Sweet! Never got around to buying the previous installment though I really enjoyed the demo. I'll be sure to get this one if it makes it over here.
Clever use of Amiibo! I love this series.
Only 4 amiibo unlock unique items? Sounds very underwhelming, as this could have been an opportunity to use some underutilized amiibo. Who doesn't want Wii Fit Trainer's vest top?
I bought Style Savvy for 3DS back when they had the Donkey Kong (NES) thing going on. I got it mostly for Donkey Kong but ended up loving it. I really, really hope we get the new one too.
Hopefully us male style savvy fans get the option to play as a male this time around. I never got the previous 3ds style savvy game, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of work and polish that went into the first game on DS. I finished the game and I'm not even that into fashion.
I'm still trying to find a copy of the previous 3DS New Style Boutique game. I've heard great things about it, but if the third game comes out I may just pick it up instead.
@RedBeanPorridge : I think this new game is also female only. Bloody hell, Nintendo.
I have yet to find Trendsetters in a store.
Do we know whether this new game will still have men's fashion?
Haha. That's cute.
This needs to happen!! Localise it!! This game series is, by far, the most legit fashion gaming experience around. The Imagine Fashion series is getting better but it still doesn't compare to Style Savvy. No game features such stylish clothes. I have both the DS and 3DS iterations and this one will be the best yet. They just have to release it here!!! Oh yeah, and b/c every guy who plays Style Savvy reveals their gender for some reason, I'm a guy who plays Style Savvy!! Don't be afraid...succumb to your feminine side. Muhuhahahha!!! LOL
Oh geez, really? As much as I love the Style Savvy series, I am NEVER buying Amiibo. NEVER.
@Phantom_R I found Trendsetters at The Source in Canada. Dunno if they have those where you're from. I think Radio Shack is the US equivalent. I also think US Best Buy has it. Dunno about Europe.
@pariah164 I'm with you. I'm not for cash grabs like amiibo especially since games started going for 44.99$ where I am. Not cool but I also don't think they're necessary to the experience, right? It's only a competitive move to compete with Skylanders and I don't do Skylanders anyway.
@ollietaro Yeesh. And yeah, it's a massive cash grab. Besides, I don't even have a New 3DS, so there's no point to me. Will just play the game as it is. If they do the shop sharing thing like they did in Trendsetters, I can probably get the outfits that way, anyway.
I've been itching to try this series for ages now, but it never seems to drop in price. It's still NZ$90 most places I've seen it. Maybe this will be the version that does it for me.
I tried the last game and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I only have Link and Zelda amiibos so wouldn't get any of the outfits, (would have loved a Link outfit though haha). Though I don't have a New 3DS anyways so it doesn't matter much.
But I'll probably still get this game >.>
Oh me.
I looove Style Savvy on 3DS. I bought it for my daughter and played it out of curiosity. It's such a good game and I cannot wait to get down with this new one.
Plus amiibo integration?! I'm sold.
@pariah164 it sounds like you ruined the fun for yourself. amiibo collecting is just a fun hobby like any other statuette collection, except these interact with our beloved Nintendo games. How is that idea lost on you? They aren't necessary elements that a gamer requires to experience the fullness of the game. They're optional, awesome additions like DLC.
I could take your point even farther and call video games a complete waste of time, and boycott such useless cash-grabbing attempts. That's just a plain old bummer. Lighten up.
@NImH Wow, the butthurt here is so intense I can still see the flames spewing forth. Let me make one thing clear: I don't have a New Nintendo 3DS or a Wii U; I don't plan to get either because I just got the Persona Q limited edition 3DS for Christmas. I don't plan to get Amiibos, which at the heart of it, are a cash grab and do little to enhance gameplay other than triggering unlockables. Some people operate on something called a budget, and buying just the game alone is enough to drain extra funds sometimes. If you buy them and enjoy them, great. Go nuts. Amiibo it up. They're just not for me. Period.
@pariah164 my butt is perfectly fine, and thanks for giving permission to enjoy my hobby. You do the same... but you might enjoy your hobby a little more with some amiibo to brighten your desk, and add content to your games.
You'll never know unless you try.
