The eShop stores on Wii U and 3DS often have a range of discounts, and Capcom is the latest to cut prices on some of its biggest releases. Details of the current discounts in North America are now available, and match up with equivalent deals that have also arrived in Europe this week.
Six games have been discounted in total - three on Wii U and three on 3DS. The details are below, with all discounts valid until 28th May.
Wii U eShop
Ducktales: Remastered (Capcom, $6.75 until 28th May, normally $14.99)
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara (Capcom, $5.99 until 28th May, normally $14.99)
Resident Evil Revelations (Capcom, $15.99 until 28th May, normally $39.99)
3DS eShop
Resident Evil Revelations (Capcom, $8.99 until 28th May, normally $19.99)
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (Capcom, $7.99 until 28th May, normally $19.99)
Super Street Fighter IV 3D (Capcom, $7.99 until 28th May, normally $19.99)
Those are the Capcom discounts for now, are you tempted to take the plunge on any of these?

EEEEEEhhhh… talk about underwhelming.
Would have loved some Virtual Console sales from Capcom instead. Would have bought the Xtreme games in a heart beat. The D&D game is the only really tempting one here.
Welp I'm buying all of this (except revelations 3ds version)
I'm not sure which one to get. Street Fighter 3D or RE Revelations 3D. I could get both but I'm limiting myself to only one. Hmmm...
Hmm... To Resident Evil or to not Resident Evil?... That is the question...
Seriously though, I've never played Resident Evil before and was wondering if anyone recommends Wii U Revelations as a good way to be introduced to the franchise.
@Applewithasn I certainly recommend Revelations, I rate it highly. If you have a Circle Pad Pro or New Nintendo 3DS XL then the portable version is a good affordable option; if not it may be worth putting down the extra for the Wii U version. Both are great, but I think having dual stick controls makes a real difference. On 3DS the 3D and immersion (with headphones) is great, while it's nice playing in HD on the Wii U as well
@Applewithasn Revelations would be a good place to start. The Tank controls of the first few games might put you off.
@Applewithasn
RE: Revelations (Wii U) was my first RE game and it was pretty awesome.
Oh look it's a PS4 advertising sale (SFV, RE:R2) on Nintendo consoles.
Ducktales is a bargain for anyone who missed it.
Would have considered getting Revelations on Wii U if I didn't already had it on 3DS.
Cool. I'm downloading SF4 so I can play with my nephew.
@Applewithasn
I'd like to add onto what @ThomasBW84 said and mention that the Wii U version also has some extra content that can be unlocked after a playthrough (albeit trivial things like costumes or guns, nothing major), and a few bug and anti-frustration fixes (again, nothing major). It also features a type of enemy not present in the 3DS version at all.
If it turns out that you like the game, I would recommend getting a copy of RE4: Wii Edition as well. Gameplay wise, they are highly similar, but I enjoyed RE4 much more. REvelations isn't bad, but it's so obviously a game designed for a handheld. I feel like RE4 has the better action and set pieces, and the superior control option thanks to the Wii remote, but that's just my opinion.
That Ducktales deal is too good to pass up.
3DS Resident Evil Revelations here I come!
Dungeons and Dragons is a must buy. Great party game.
Duck tales and revelations Wii u are the only ones I don't have already. Might be a good time to get them. Or, maybe Capcom should release some new games instead of discounting the same old games every 6 months...
@ThomasBW84 Does RE:Mercs support the Circle Pad Pro as well?
I've heard great things about Duck Tales, but I'm on the fence still. The biggest reason is that the cutscenes/dialogue look boring and I'd just rather jump straight into the gameplay. Is the dialogue able to be skipped?
welp I have ducktales on pc already but for that price....woo-oo
Three games today: DuckTales Remastered on WiiU, and Street Fighter and Mercenaries on 3DS.
The other game I got today was Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams.
It's been a nice birthday this time around.
Have them or don't want them. I can highly recommend both Ducktales and Resi Revelations
No Mega Man. Typical scumbag Capcom.
I will probably finally pick up resident Evil Revelations for Wii U.
I was hoping some Mega Man games would be in the sale like MMBN 1 & 2.
Could this be my first Street Fighter game? Only fighting games I've played much of is the Smash series...and a little Clayfighter 63 1/3
I've been eying that Dungeons and Dragons arcade game since the Two Best Friends channel played it. Seems like an ideal time to finally pick it up.
The Mercenaries 3D is tempting, i really enjoyed that game. sometimes i boot up 5 & 6 just to play that.
I've got these already.
I am going to buy all the 3DS games, great prices.
Oh why did my card number have to get stolen this week.
@sketchturner
Yes, you may pause and skip the cutscenes. Personally I love them as they make the levels feel like episodes of the cartoon. Even when nearing 100 years old, Alan Young is delightful as Unca Scrooge.
I would have liked to see any of the MH games discounted. Does anyone know if the Raid mode on Revelations can be played Splitscreen on Wii U?
I Wonder if people are still playing raid mode in the 3ds version?
@shigulicious I don't think it does, unfortunately.
I'd get Mercenaries, but alas, I'm too young...
@metroidfire1 A few people are; it may take a few minutes to find a match, but I'm sure you'd find somebody.
What extras has the Wii U vers. than 3DS vers. don´t have in Revelaitons?
@sketchturner I do believe you can skip the cutscenes I'll have to check when I get home.
Definitely can recommend Ducktales and D&D. Thinking about SFIV myself.
I want the REVELAITONS !!!
Hmm guess I'll pick up Street Fighter. My 3DS lacks a traditional fighter.
Once again that Resident Evil Revelations is tempting me to buy it.
I'll take that SSFIV3D thank you.
I miss Street Fighter IV. I would be getting that if i had a 3DS. And as much as I want to be a Resident Evil fan, I just don't handle horror games (jump scares) well. My imagination is too active and I generally play too late at night. Ducktales might be worth looking into, but I played the original on NES to death trying to perfect my score.
Already have all of these. Seriously Capcom release a fighting game on WiiU with a online
I'm just waiting for a good discount in Europe for the Ace Attorney Trilogy.
Already got RE:Revelations great game for anyone who doesn't have it. It's fun! I just got street fighter. Had to get it for 7.99 (8.49 tax). The online matches extend the playtime a lot. I had this as a game card and online was always fun but then I lost it. Now I won't lose this game on my system! Yaay!
@Retro_on_theGo ? They have a sale and you complain I will never understand people like you
i have sf4 on cart, but my kid likes to play it too. i'll probably download it to either my system or his so we can play together
SF4 is worth it, but I downloaded that probably more than a year ago...
@Whopper744 Wow. It never occurred to me that there might be people who have not played a Street Fighter game. Street Fighter II: The World Warrior is basically the reason we all still play fighting games today. It was to fighting games what Super Mario Bros. was to the platformer. I might be overstating it a little bit, but it was a hugely influential game. I'll never forget the first time I played it at a skating rink arcade, picked Dhalsim because he could spit fire and stretch across the screen, and proceeded to get absolutely destroyed by whoever else was playing. Good times.
@earthboundlink Not the first time I've heard that. I've played a ton of games (Mario, Zelda, etc are my favorites) for 20 some years but I've never really got into those sort of fighting games. This one seems to be worth the $8 so far though, even if I do stink at it.
Hmm, maybe I'll buy SSF4 again just to have it on my memory card instead.
the only one i bought was street fighter 4 and was the one i had my eye on for a couple of years, didn't think it would have a discount since it has a price cut. worth the $8? yes. i was actually planning on getting the physical copy at that price (or $10) either on amazon or ebay but capcom did the favor for me. now if only watch_dogs on the eshop had a 50% discount i would buy it in a heartbeat and i would use what i saved for those 2 dlc packs.
Duck Tales is only $4.75 on PSN right now. That's $3.25 cheaper than physical copies used to cost at Toys R Us.
Cool, I was waiting for a sale on D&D. Bought! (and I already bought DuckTales and RE R on disc, bought near release... both very fun).
Would have been better if mega man games where on sale
Guess I'm finally getting SF4.
