The only thing that could be sweeter is if they got Kajiura Yuki to compose, that would have gotten a preorder from me for sure.

The two titles I would have went for I already have. Lame. And what a ripoff using Wit Fit for the Mii representation. Tomodachi Life was released several months ago, a discount would have hardly killed it.

I already bought Triple Deluxe yesterday on impulse but I still hope it's discounted next week, Kirby deserves to send out this promotion with a bang.

Not interested in the ORAS designs but THAT SUEDE IS GORGEOUS. I'd LOVE to have that material on a Mario or My Melody faceplate.

Some of my fondest video game memories are with this handled box. I remember getting this Christmas morning and playing Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance with the family all day, long weekends with my parents playing REmake, and long nights playing Sonic Mega Collection solo. Simply a marvelous system.

Like for real though, how was this and Pokemon Snap U NOT launch titles? Perfect kinds of games to sell the gamepad to consumers AND developers yet here we are unsure if the former will localized and begging for the latter to actually exist.

Yokai Watch is something, my goodness. If it does this much damage overseas, Pokemon will truly have found a new rival. And Love Live! remaining in virtually the same spot is totally awesome.

For anyone not familiar with AKB48, they're the biggest girl band in Japan right now; they're particularly popular with young girls and their members are EVERYWHERE advertising for many popular brands so yes, this is great advertising for Nintendo.

The one with the pigtails attacking Mario is Watanabe Mayu who's currently the "face" of the group right now. The one with long black hair is Kashiwagi Yuki, one of their most popular members, and the brunette is the group's leader, Takahashi Minami.

I have the game and enjoying it but even that score shocks me. X-D I'd personally say it's more of 8/10 so far but that could change as I get further along. Great review though and I'd definitely recommend the title to anyone that's curious.

Thank god face plates aren't "region locked" because Japan will be getting all the awesome stuff as usual. They'll get all the best Pokemon themed ones (just like with the original 3DS/XL) and oh god they'll probably get Senran Kagura, Phoenix Wright, Love+, and Hatsune Miku themed ones screams.

Been eyeing Curtain Call (and that LE looks spiffy) so I'll be giving that a spin this weekend to see if the extra swag is worth it.

@1wiierdguy I feel the same way at this point. Obviously Wii U owners have a right to be furious particularly in this case when crowdfunding was involved but this BS from 3rd parties has just become too expected now to even bother getting ruffled over anymore. I don't care about the developers, I care about having a cool car sim to play on the Wii U so politics be damned, I'll get the game when/if it comes. Sometimes you gotta know when to pick your battles.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is probably the only one out of these listed I will get. I'd rather have Triple Deluxe or Tomodachi Life though so if the lists aren't complete then hopefully those get added to Week 3 or 4 (since my lack of funds for the time being will cause me to miss the first two week sales).

The 3DS has been very good with localization, except for a couple of particularly niche titles I pretty much have every game I would have bothered to import coming to West. The Vita has been the same way actually, there will probably be only less than a handful of games I'll have to import for preorder bonuses/special editions or because they're just too niche to ever make it over here. So the region locking isn't a big deal to me but I understand that's not the case for everyone particularly European gamers so I'm disappointed (though not surprised) with this decision.

It won't happen but it'd be hilarious if the XB1 is a beast in Japan.

I'm glad the Vita is getting such great support from Japanese developers, it's a neat system that deserved more than to be a simple PS3 port machine of western games that I didn't care about the first time around. I went to wanting only one game for the system to over a dozen in just a span of months so I'll definitely be investing in one around the holidays. I didn't know they made Love Live! games, I'll have to put that one on my wishlist.

I didn't see the direct but I just saw some footage from the announcement and yeah jagged lines ahoy (I forgot about DKCR3D derp). This upgrade does seem like a good excuse to produce more 3DS Wii ports and at this point, I imagine if they're bothering to make this then the 3DS successor will indeed be a HD console.

I need Peach, Wii Trainer, Samus, and Pikachu so if I preorder any it'll be those. I wish I could have them all, they'd look so nice on my bookshelf.

I still haven't even gotten the full game ;___; (stupid being broke). I do have a little cash in the eshop though so I'm tempted to get Dedede's Drum to tide me over.

So does this mean that the new 3DS is going to be at the Wii's power level? If so, BRING ON THE PRIME TRILOGY PORT!

Why is everything so awesome today?! I've been down for so long this feels like a dream.

I got my Pink/White XL last year in time for Pokemon X/Y. I don't regret a single moment I've had with the little wonder box. But it looks like our time will be coming to a close soon since I likely need to trade it in to afford one of these beauties.

... or I could just have two 3DS's but I planned on buying a Vita and that 3D World Bundle. I'm not sure I could possibly justify spending that much money on just consoles. THOSE INTERCHANGABLE PLATES DOE
