FIFA 18 did quite well. And the Switch is a hot product. Fastest selling system ever in the US. EA can’t ignore that and such non specific tepid nonsensical self contradicting reasoning is not gonna fly. I dare say more than a few shareholders are going to be going “Why is madden not on Switch? Why are you doing almost nothing for Switch? It’s a hot and rapidly growing market. You cannot Ignore that kind of potential revenue!”

Gamefreak and Nintendo get a cut of the money.

Plus google and Niantic also gets a cut of Pokémon Go

It’s amazing that ignorance persists enough for this to be surprising to be people. Nintendo has said they will keep supporting 3DS and this has been known as a 3DS title for many months now.

They also literally said in in this interview Switch wasn’t even a thing when this started development and that the way gameplay is set up needs two screens so...,yeah.

My point is it’s petty to wish the 3DS dead because it gets a handful of small and mid size games and act like it’s somehow hurting Switch in any meaningful way when it has all these big titles coming.

The internet needs to stop making every mention of the 3DS “it’s finally dead now because this lastest rumor” or “Nintendo should kill 3DS”

It happens all the time on Facebook, gamefaqs etc.

People need to stop being so toxic about 3DS. Accept that it still makes Nintendo money and that a solid amount of people still enjoy 3DS. If people complain they should complain respectfully to Nintendo instead of whining about how stupid they are.

Are we really mad that Nintendo is supporting a system long term for once?

It’s not it’s hurting Switch. All the best talent are making Switch games. 3DS is getting remakes and quirky little games like Sushi Strikers and Warioware.

Oh no how will the poor Switch owners survive not having Luigi’s Mansion when they are getting Smash Bros, Yoshi, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Mario Tennis, Donkey Kong, Metriod Prime 4 etc.

All I want is Persona 5 Switch and Persona Q2

Well they lost my interest. I really prefer my RPGS portable. No 3DS and Switch being a nebulous release quite a while from now...my life may be a lot busier and my backlog certainly not much smaller....

Buzz off Sqaure Enix until you don’t screw up constantly with portables/Localization and don’t take an eternity to release or localize the games that actually happen.

Zelda 2 could use a remake and the other GB zelda’s would benefit from better controls/U.I and graphics.

Also would love Advance Wars, Hey Pikmin 2, Monster Hunter XX etc. on 3DS

Switch I really just want Fire Emblem Switch details and Pikmin 4, plus release dates and a third party game or two. The biggest stuff( Smash hopefully for example) will be at E3.

3DS userbase is a lot more active than Wii U.

Amazon had this(and Strange Journey Redux) up for preorder for mere 28$ several months back for whatever reason and I naturally pre ordered.

So I get them on launch day with free shipping for 28$. Awwww yeah.

Demo has me intiriguied. Story and OST are great. Still early so can’t comment too strongly on gameplay yet as I haven’t really done much actual gameplay...

I find it hard to care until treasurenaughts is released for both 3DS and Switch. I already own it on 3DS.

Not buying any Atooi games until treasurenaughts(which supposedly was being 100% focused on) is released.

This sort of thing is exactly why I keep telling people to not count 3ds out.

Just pray for a Port to 3DS or Switch and use that nice 20% Prime/GCU discount to get it on a system that doesn’t have a bulky awful controller and actually portability.

3DS took about 4 and a half years(varies by region)

Wii U is somewhat meaningless to look at as it flopped pretty bad but pretty sure even Wii U took about 3 years to get Selects games.

Don’t expect Switch Selects until at least 2021

Dark Souls YS VIII and Tropical freeze is great but without a save transfer from 3DS no way am I grinding through everything again in Hyrule Warriors. No fire Emblem info is also sad :/

Complete lack of 3DS is sad. At the very least give us Yokai Watch 3 and Monster Hunter XX...

I am making a top 50 for my own purposes.

I am going to specifically mention that exact placing isn’t too important. #1 is gonna be better than #25 and #25 will be better than #50 but being say five places higher doesn’t necessarily mean I think the other game is much better.

Just a little thought.

Zelda 2 remake on 3DS.

Give us that while you work on another huge game like BOTW for Switch.

Anyways looks like they went all out on this. Lots of content for a Megaman esque 9.99$ 2D platformer.

What a silly attitude. It’s a simple game graphically and doesn’t really get any particularly benefit from Switch.

If you loved 3DS why does Switch have to immediately render it completely irrelevant? Why does a game have to be on Switch suddenly to be playable. The game has been in development since well before Switch dev kits were avaible to the developer anyways.

People with these views should stop posting about it. No one cares If you don’t care about a game and don’t have anything constructive to say outside of Switch port begging. People really need to realize people don’t want pointless negativity and we don’t want every 3DS article, topic, page etc. turned into Switch port begging and “3ds is dead” nonsense.

Meh.

Call me when handheld mode get a resolution boost and such.

I will play this almost exclusively in handheld mode as I do most Switch games.
