Atlus has released a television commercial via YouTube for Persona Q2, revealing the game's full title and Japan launch date. The original clip was shown during an episode of the Persona 5 animation. The game will arrive on 29th November and will be officially titled Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. It will also include characters from previous entries in the series.
The game was originally announced in August last year for the 3DS and is a sequel to Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. There's currently no word on a western release. Take a look at the commercial and tell us if you're excited about this new entry.

This looks great... But dang I really don't want to pull out my 3ds again lol. I still have an OG 3ds, and going from the big screen of the switch to the small screens of the 3ds kind of sucks.

Atlus has been so good for the 3ds. SMT iv and A, devil survivor rereleases, EO, strange journey redux and radiant historia and now this... hopefully they will start putting their games on the switch in the future.

@tsdenizen Or it could be a non-canon game, an enemy that is using a disguise that looks like her, a scenario where the main leads switch genders or it could just be an alternate universe scenario.
She is still very much non-canon right now.
The original game was the worst Persona game ever made, don't care about this.

@UltimateDespair1 Q1 was canon, though admittedly it didn't matter if it was because of the ending, so Q2 probably will be as well.

@UltimateDespair1 P3D and P5D also didn't include story modes. I'm fairly sure PQ2 will be story focused, so that greatly increases it's chances of canonicity.
@Orpheus79V I doubt it seeing as the original did absolutely nothing to expand of pre-established lore for Persona. I'm expecting it to be another crap fluff game.
The first Persona Q is one of my favourite games, I have been waiting for this since they announced it. Bring it on!!!

Day one for me if it's localized, i really liked the original and as a fan of Etrian Odyssey gameplay i can't just skip this.
I'm hoping they will bring EOX too.
Great title which prepared Nintendo' community for core Persona games, now it's almost a time to port P3-5 to Switch, Atlus, and remake P1&2.
I loved the first as I'm a massive fan of Etrian Odyssey so I'm hyped for this. Europe please, Atlus.

I bought Shadow of the labyrinth at sale and played like 30 to 40 minutes.... The blurred/lowres graphics kinda made me dizzy so i turned it off. I don't think i will buy the sequel. I'm still a big persona fan though

It's a matter of a personal taste, I find first two entries' gameplay dated too much for a direct port & wish for remakes with an improved QoL stuff.
If it was switch day 1. On 3ds probably never tbh

Hoping for a western release
It looks really good, I have always liked the style they use for Persona Q but I am not at all a fan of the EO gameplay. Hope a regular Persona game makes it over to Nintendo at some point.

@UltimateDespair1 Well, it's like I said before. If it's anything like the first it really makes no difference whether it is canon or not so it doesn't really matter either way.
@Orpheus79V Seeing as Atlus have publicly said that the FeMC is non-canon, it is far more likely that this is non-canon as well.
Would buy this is a sec if it comes to the US. The first Q and Persona 5 were fantastic.
It amazes me every time we get a Persona game in the West. However, it would be odd to not get this, at least at some point, we get just about all of them. Such a strange series though.

@Heavyarms55 Eh, I'm just glad we're still getting new 3ds games. For me that means more stuff to play on my New 2ds XL.
