Re: Nintendo Outlines Key Goals to Ensure NX Success

Pikachupwnage

So basically Nintendo said "The Wii U is dead and we are burying it" but with PR spin acting like its a good thing( which it is actually. Wii u needs to die so we can have a fresh start that might actually get a good non indie game more than three times a year.)

I like my Wii U but let's not kid ourselves. Notable retail games release about as often as a unicorn fart during a blue moon.

Re: Developers Don't Seem To Know Any More About Nintendo NX Than You Do

Pikachupwnage

And now everyone freaks out and says how incompetent Nintendo is even though several developers have clearly been given access to Dev kits including EA, Sqaure Enix, koei, Namco etc.

Also NDA's exist. For example "we haven't heard any new from Nintendo so we don't have any announcements" doesn't really sound like "Nintendo has told the entire company literally nothing about NX." Could easily just be a dodge.

Re: Talking Point: Faith In Yo-kai Watch May Pay Off in the West, Though Overthrowing Pokémon is a Long Shot

I hate how loosely used weaboo and Otaku are used.

Liking anime or Japanese video games does not make one a weaaboo. Being obsessed with anime, and Japan in general to a absurd degree is what makes one a weaaboo. With how loosely people use the term you might as well call some who wants to go on a vacation to Paris a " Franceaboo" or some who wants to dive in the barrier reefs a "reefeaboo"

Anyways the game only did disappointingly if you had unrealistic expectations. It did 185K in the US between November and December 2015(we know this due to the usual NPD leaks on Neogaf) and debuted at #1 in France. Those are solid results for a new IP and the only reason some people proclaimed it as a flop was because every had this silly idea that it was the new Pokemon and would sell like it even outside Japan.

Re: Mighty No. 9 Has Gone Gold for a June Release

Pikachupwnage

How the **** do they not have the Vita and 3DS versions ready by now?

You think a two year or whatever delay would let them make it a concurrent launch.

At the least give us a rough release estimate and some gameplay footage. You make it feel like those versions don't even exist and that is insulting to your backers who gave money to hit that stretch goal.

Re: Review: SUPER ROBO MOUSE (Wii U eShop)

Pikachupwnage

RCMADIX needs to stop polluting the eshop with garbage. Pretty much every game of his I see I immediately think "this looks like no effort generic piece of garbage"

He clearly does not have the money, talent or drive to make quality products. The best he can achieve is "passable for a bargain bin price" and often times completely misses the mark.

If the gameplay was stellar I could easily forgive the shortcomings in graphics and somewhat in music.

I feel like he either doesn't care about quality or simply doesn't have the talent and drive to do anything above "cheap iPhone app" level of quality, He should find a new career that suits him better.

To add to this I feel like the extreme quantity of games he puts out destroys any chance of his games being good. This is what the twentieth game he has put on eshop with his one man team? How can such a fast output with a single person produce any sort of thoughtful, polished content?

His business model disgusts me and I feel bad for anyone who buys his games. If you see this RCMAXDIX please rethink your business model or choice of career.

Re: Kirby: Planet Robobot Gets a Neat amiibo Bundle in Europe, While 'Kirby 3D Rumble' is Detailed

Pikachupwnage

This game looks sooooooo good! The Mechas are a much better gimmick than then hyper vacuum thing especially as they actually mix with your copy abilities. Plus is cool having some more modern/urban levels in Kirby. Usually it's either straight up fantasy/nature type levels with a few space/ship levels.

Aside from the base game we get Meta Knightmare, 3D rumble and team Kirby clash!

Plus the new Kirby Amiibo is awesome(and UFO is my favorite copy ability)

I am super hyped!

Re: Natsume Talks About its Future Plans for the 3DS

@Platina

Yeah those graphics are garbage ( seriously it looks like a bad flash game)and Lost valley didn't exactly inspire confidence in their ability to make good game...

-dodgy controls
-half the amount of marriage candidates compared to most any harvest moon game.
-no village
-etc.

Also IIRC the game is free to play which could easily make for a frustrating experience with not enough stamina/money or whatever unless you pay up...

Also the dialogue in a new beginning was mind numbingly dull. Xseed is a much better localizer if rune factory 4 is anything to go by...

@Desrever

I was about to say that people like you are the reason they went out of business...but I didn't notice the "so I went out and bought a hard copy" part the first time I read your post XD.

Curses be upon modern gaming trends(damn smartphones and 100 million dollar budget games with stupid amounts of advertising)

There is barely any market for medium size devs on traditional hardware anymore...

Re: Nintendo Issues Statement On Side Quest Changes In Bravely Second

Pikachupwnage

This is actually a good response.

It could be argued they went the wrong way about it but this is not some situation where you can just scream about some censorship boogeyman.

They tried to improve the side quests based on player feedback. Of course half the Internet is going to do the ol "Nintendo doesn't think westerns can handle this kind of thing" nonsense.

Now the costume changes are silly I think we can agree on that.
